Dawn was amazing throughout the whole wedding process. We initially spoke on video call, where she explained different routes we could take and the creativity you can have with a celebrant ceremony. We filled out questionnaires and met in person before she wrote our wedding story script. We were sent the wedding story script to read a month or so before the wedding so we could make any changes we needed, however nothing needed changed - Dawn somehow managed to perfectly sum up our 11 year relationship and we both cried while reading it. We couldn’t be happier with how the ceremony went on the day - from the story, to including our dog, to the keepsake Dawn made for us. Beyond everything else, she is professional, she is a gorgeous storyteller and just a lovely person overall. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and that’s why she is so good at it.

From the very beginning, Dawn made us feel completely at ease and created a ceremony that felt so authentically 'us'. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and that shone through in every single part of the ceremony.

One of our favourite memories from the whole planning process was completing Dawn's questionnaires. What started as wedding admin quickly turned into a lovely date night, reminiscing about our relationship and talking about all the reasons we love each other. It sounds silly, but by the end of it we both felt incredibly lovey-dovey and excited for the wedding!

Dawn met with us several times before the wedding, including a coffee catch-up close to home and a visit to our venue a few weeks before the big day. She helped us practice standing together, looking at each other and saying our words out loud, which made us feel so much more relaxed and confident. We both found writing our vows really tricky, but Dawn was patient, encouraging and reassuring, helping us find the right words without ever making us feel pressured.

On the day itself, the ceremony was everything we had hoped for and more. It was warm, heartfelt, funny and full of personality. We laughed, we cried, and most importantly, it felt completely like us. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how beautiful and personal the ceremony was.

We also loved all of the thoughtful touches Dawn brought to the day. The matching vow books, certificate and stationery were beautiful keepsakes, and we were so touched to receive everything afterwards. Dawn also suggested some lovely ceremony rituals, including a ring warming with our close family and a blessing stone ritual. Our guests held the stones throughout the ceremony, filling them with their well-wishes and love for our future together. Those stones now sit in our home as a reminder of not only our wedding day, but of all the people who were there supporting us.

Dawn perfectly matched the colourful, relaxed and personality-filled atmosphere we wanted, and we genuinely couldn't have wished for a better celebrant.

I want to start off by thanking dawn for everything she did for us on the day, on the days before and on the months before our big day. None of it would’ve been possible with anyone else.

From our first meeting Dawn learned about the two of us in such a natural conversational way that you wouldn’t even know she was anything other than a friend.

When beginning to discuss the actual ceremony dawns suggestions we’re genuinely personal to us as if she had known us for years and knew what we would like. And these are not just your generic off the list of things you can add into a wedding ceremony but rather quirky things that are just us two to a tee, things we’d never even thought of.

In the weeks running up Dawn assisted in our vow writing and even provided reading cards printed in such a way where pausing when reading off the card felt and sounded natural and this is a small detail that made such a difference.

She helped wrangle our rowdy guests and delivered one of the most heartfelt, funny, sincere ceremonies I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of. Drawing laughs and tears from our guests (and myself) with ease.

Dawn orchestrated and delivered the best day of my life and I feel closer than ever to my now wife and I honestly feel a lot of that was because of how perfect the day went.

If you’re reading this review you’re obviously considering Dawn and I cannot stress enough how much better your day will be for doing so.

Wow!!!! What a celebration Dawn was our celebrant for our recent wedding.
We met with Dawn several times before the day and communicated by email and whats app too which meant that even the smallest detail we wanted to clarify or discuss was dealt with promptly.
We wanted a fun loving humorous celebration and she delivered beyond our expectations!!!!
Her confident and out going personality throughout the planning reassured us that the day would go well.
She gave us a draft of the ceremony before the day which was so helpful to see as we knew what would be said on the day so we could relax and enjoy it. We also received a beautiful copy of the script and our vows in a keepsake folder after the ceremony. We chose to have a sand ceremony (for blended families joining together) and wine box this added so much to our ceremony. Our guests commented on the day and weeks afterwards about how unique, emotional, relaxed it was, the best they had ever been to.
Definitely value for money! Dawn took the time to get to know us, communication was important for us and it was for her too.
Her delivery on the day was exceptional both with meeting/greeting the guests aswell as delivering the ceremony.

I attended a close friend’s Celebrant wedding ceremony yesterday which was performed by Dawn. It was such a beautiful, personalised ceremony that had the right blend of serious and humorous content which kept all the guests engaged.

The ceremony was tailored perfectly to the happy couple, Dawn had obviously done her research! It was an absolute privilege to be a part of such a lovely ceremony.

She exudes warmth, was so easy to talk to, funny, friendly and was such a compass in an unknown world for us, having decided to celebrate ‘us’ after 30 years together. She is a really active listener with a natural empathy - soaked us up and we felt like she truly understood us and the essence of our ‘us-ness’.

I recently attended a wedding led by DV Celebrant, and it was truly one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve witnessed. The service was completely unique and so personal, a celebration of the couple and their story. It was heartfelt, joyful, and a real pleasure to experience as a guest.
