At The Playroom, every child is cared for, entertained, and included, allowing parents to relax and enjoy every moment of the wedding day. Based in Keswick, Cumbria, we provide bespoke wedding childcare and beautifully styled play setups for children from newborn through to 12 years old.
Every wedding is different, which is why each package is carefully tailored to suit the couple’s vision, guest list, and venue. Whether it’s a supervised play space, tailored childcare, or simply a setup and go children's corner, every detail is thoughtfully planned to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience.

The Super Nannies
I initially didn’t think i’d need any child care for our wedding , but as it got closer and speaking to others i just wanted my own family to be able to enjoy the day .
My Now husband found The Playroom and upon contacting them they were so responsive!
When we had a chat they were super helpful and were so accommodating and flexible .
They were up for doing whatever it took to make the child care fit for our day .
In hindsight i wish id booked them at least for a chunk of time in the morning so my mum could have got ready without looking after my boys .
However they came and set up a play area in the morning behind the top table and this was accessible all
day for our guests for the wedding breakfast to which was a massive hit!
They fed my little one and my bridesmaids daughter who was also 17 months .
And helped facilitate bedtime by staying outside the bedroom of my little one.
Amy and sarah also helped us to find an ice cream vendor 3 days before our wedding as we were let down by another supplier.
They helped with my son when he started crying in the speeches and discretely took him to play outside and look at the sheep!
They were both such lovely women who went over and beyond! I literally couldn’t recommend them any more !!

If you are in two minds about booking just do it, It was the best thing we did and really were able to have some adult time!

Absolutely fantastic at the little wedding
The girls were very accommodating with all the children's needs and gave them all the attention and entertainment throughout the day.
Highly recommend amy and sarah because it gives all parents peace of mind during the day knowing your little ones are very safe and are having fun so that you can too.
