At You, Me & the Dog, I specialise in helping couples include their beloved pets in their wedding day, whilst giving them complete peace of mind that their four-legged family member is safe, happy and cared for throughout the celebrations.

I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 5 years of veterinary experience and am fully insured, bringing professional animal-care knowledge, experience with different behaviours and a calm, compassionate approach to every wedding.

I understand that every pet is different. Some dogs will happily embrace the excitement of a wedding, whilst others may need more reassurance, quiet time and space away from the crowds. My role is to understand your pet as an individual and make sure their welfare remains a priority throughout the day.

🐶 Wedding Chaperoning 🐶

Depending on your chosen package, I can provide:

• Pre-wedding consultation and walkies
  

• Collection and safe transport to your wedding venue
• Brushing, paw cleaning and dressing with wedding accessories
• Professional chaperoning throughout the ceremony
• Supervision during photographs and time with your guests
• Helping coordinate those all-important photographs with your photographer
• Walkies, cuddles and quiet time when your dog needs a break
• Transport to their agreed overnight or sleepover destination
• Saturday overnight stays where required
  

The aim is simple: you enjoy your wedding day, while I take care of your dog. 💒

You won't need to rely on a member of your wedding party to keep an eye on them, worry about whether they've had enough exercise, or wonder who is going to take them home when the celebrations continue.

I'll be there to handle their care, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the day together.

🐱🐰🐢 Care for Your Other Pets

Your dog may be joining you at the wedding, but I know they aren't the only member of your family who needs care.

I also offer in-home care for cats, small mammals, reptiles and suitable exotic pets whilst you're away.

This service takes place in your pet's own home, allowing them to remain somewhere familiar and comfortable and, wherever possible, maintain their usual routine.

I have experience caring for small mammals and exotic species and am also a tortoise owner myself. Combined with my veterinary nursing background, I'm comfortable understanding and adapting to the very different care requirements individual animals can have.

In-home care can include:

• Feeding and fresh water
• Maintaining their normal routine
• Companionship and reassurance
• Basic cleaning of appropriate pet areas
• Walks and exercise where required
• Medication where appropriate and within my professional scope
• Care tailored to your pet's individual requirements
• Regular updates and photos, so you know they're happy and settled

🌙 Saturday Overnight Stays

I also offer Saturday overnight stays in your home, giving you the freedom to enjoy your wedding and evening celebrations without worrying about getting home to your pets.

This can be particularly useful if:

• Your dog has been part of the wedding and needs somewhere familiar to settle afterwards
• Your pets don't cope well with being left alone
• You have multiple pets with different routines
• Your pets are happier remaining in their own environment
• You simply want complete peace of mind while you're celebrating
