Well where can I begin!!

What a fantastic day we had, from the very beginning of booking with the village hotel the communication was spot on. No question was too silly to ask and I felt that my wishes were being listened to wholeheartedly. Sue and Kieran were fabulous and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy throughout the day engaging with our guests not just ourselves. The food was to die for and pipping hot, great portions and food service went without a hitch!

The evening turn around was seamless also and the room looked fantastic again!

We've had so many positive comments of our day with not one fault being found, people will remember our wedding with fond memories and the village hotel played a big part in that!

Thank you so much from the bottom of our heart for making our wedding day so special!

Got married here on the 5/4/25 and all I can say is wow.

Sue and Leighton the co ordinators were very attentive of what I wanted and guided me through the whole process relieving all pressure off myself.

On the day of the wedding they set up everything in the way requested and better than imagined. They made it my fairytale I dreamed off.

They really looked after us and made everything so seamless. Everything went without a hitch. There was nothing too much to ask. Even my external vendors commented how amazing they were.

Keiron was amazing on the day. Liaising with me through out and the food was beautiful and plentiful.

Bruce the DJ was incredible too. Cannot thank everyone enough for the seamless effort they put in and would recommend to anyone.

We had an absolutely amazing wedding at the Village Hotel in Cardiff on 01.08.24.
We can’t thank the staff enough, they really looked after us and our guests. The wedding coordinator Victoria was amazing and really made sure that everything ran smoothly. We really appreciate the time and effort Victoria put into making sure our day was so great. So many of our guests commented that it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to. The operations staff were excellent too, they really went over and above to look after us. There was a last minute issue with the original but staff quickly organised another and we weren’t even aware until afterwards. The wedding breakfast was of very high quality too. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

We got married at the Village hotel Cardiff on 1st May 2011. From the moment we booked this venue, the service was excellent thanks to the wedding co-ordinater Sarah. She was always helpful with advice and any questions I had (no matter how silly!) and our wedding day went very smoothly and we have absolutely no doubt that we chose the right venue for our wedding. The food was lovely which everyone commented on and the staff present on the day went out of their way to make sure the day went how we wanted.

We got married on the 16th June 2007 and from start to finish the day was perfect. The staff were more than helpfull and leading up to the big day Martin the co-ordinator was a star. The food, day and night was fantastic and the DJ was great and played everything our guests and we wanted. All of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and what a fab day and night they had.
This was the best day of our lifes and we will always treasure our memories.
Thank you for a superb service and we would highly recommend the venue to anyone.

we held our wedding on April 1st! a first for the village we believe. Considering the date the whole day went without a hitch, mind you it was set for 1pm to be on the safe side.The staff were extremelly helpful and Martin Eagles made the organising so simple.the whole day was very well organised, the staff were helpfull and friendly,the food was excellent-very hot and well presented.The room looked amazing as did our complimentary room for the night. With the four extra complimentary rooms for guests only on a Sunday this was an added bonus.The bride stayed the night before and was treated like a V.I.P.The evening buffet was first class with more than enough fod for all guests.The MC for the day was excellent.Thank you for making our special day so enjoyable.Well Done. Highly recommend this venue.

From the moment we booked our wedding ceremony and reception with Emily Kibbler the wedding co-ordinator at the village it was without a doubt perfectly well organised down to the very finest details and very stress free. We got married on 20th June 2008 and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. After several visits to the village to make the arrangements we always felt really welcome and the village began to feel like home from home. On the day of the wedding I felt really relaxed on entering the hotel as Emily and all the staff were there to greet me with a friendly reassuring smile that told me everything was going to be perfect how right they were. The ceremony room looked beautiful just as I had expected and the civil ceremony simply lovely. When we went into the main room to have photos cutting the cake before all the guests nothing could prepare me for what I seen I was speechless it was absolutely perfect, I was blown away they had followed all my instructions perfectly. I could not say that there was anything I would have changed. The food was excellent and served to a very high standard. The whole day just flowed and my guests commented on many occasions about how helpful and friendly the staff in all areas of the hotel were. The evening buffet was more than plenty for all the guests and served bang on time. All the 24 guest rooms booked were exactly as requested no problems checking in either, our bridal suite was lovely rose petals on the bed, balloons, strawberries, chocolates and champagne what more can you ask for. The following day was just as relaxed the staff had put all our belongings in a locked room for us. We were treated the same the day after as we were on the big day. I would truly recommend the village because the staff are wonderful they made us feel important and made a special day even more special. we will always treasure our memories of that day and I would do it all again in a heartbeat if I could. Thanks again Emily and all the team for the superb 1st class service you gave us. We will recommend you to everyone. xxx

We got married at the the Village Hotel in May 2007. It was a lovely day and we wouldn't have changed a thing. The staff were really helpful and couldnlt do enough for you. The food was lovely and the reception looked brilliant. It was very good value for money. The whole day went without any problems. If only we could do it all over again ...

We got married 24th April 2010. From the moment we viewed the Village Hotel Martin Eagle and the staff were very polite and extremely helpful. We booked straight away and any questions we had or if we wanted to add or change certain things it was never a problem. The day itself was absolutely fantastic, the service provided by all the staff was excellent. We were very pleased with the way the inspiration suite looked for the ceremony it was beautiful and the reception looked stunning. The food was lovely, everone was impressed! The day went without a hitch and the staff at the Village had a lot to do with that. We couldnt have asked for it to go better. We would definately reccommend the Village Hotel to others for special events, especially a wedding. We loved it so huge thanks to everyone at the Village!!

we had our wedding in the village hotel in june07 and we would highly reccommend it. the staff were very professional and could not do enough for us the food was lovely and the whole day went without any problems. it was a perfect day and i would not have changed a thing

We held our wedding reception here in May 2007. The staff could not do enough to help us. The food was excellent and all the guests commented on this. The bedroom was complimentary and was decorated with balloons and rose petals which was a nice touch. I also used the spa facilities before the reception with my bridesmaid. They did our makeup and nails The staff there were also very helpful and showed genuine interest in my wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

thankyou to sarah watts and holly and james. sarah you really made it special thankyou.everything that i requested was done, sometimes not the easiest of requests.i would be more than happy to recommend this venue to anyone,when i seen my room set up it was the best moment ever!

Our wedding reception was held in the Village June 07. As we walked into the reception room to check things before our guests came in I was amazed! Everything looked beautifull, all the accessories we had taken in a large box had been layed out carefully, the table plan followed exactly and my every wish fullfiled. The staff worked really hard on my behalf and this continued throughout the meal and reception. The food was excellent and plentiful and the bar service was great. We would highly recomend the Village as a wedding reception venue.

Our daughter and son-in-law''s wedding reception was held at the Village Hotel, Cardiff at the end of October 2008. From Day 1, our wedding co-ordinator could not have been more helpful. On the day itself, the welcome was warm, the Inspiration Suite looked amazing and such care had been taken over every detail. Our buffet was beautifully presented and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We so appreciated everything that was done for us. We have no hesitation in recommending the Village Hotel in Cardiff as a venue for such a special day.
