Step into your next chapter at St. Pierre Country Club, a sophisticated wedding venue located in Chepstow, Monmouthshire. A countryside setting located in the southeast of Wales, this stunning 14th Century Manor House offers beautiful architecture surrounded by 400 acres of picturesque parkland, the perfect setting for your big day.
Facilities and Capacity
Recently renovated in 2023, the 14th Century manor house has been lovingly restored and tastefully designed throughout. With 148 bedrooms, multiple dining and lounge areas, the venue has the luxury of offering you a weekend away to celebrate with your loved ones, not just a day to say I do. Licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships, the St.Pierre Suite with a capacity of 220 guests is the ideal venue for couples seeking a personalised ceremony. The room boasts high ceilings and a private terrace with views over the hotel grounds. For a more traditional wedding ceremony, the St. Peters church is located within the venue’s grounds, the most beautifully traditional place to say I do with a capacity of up to 70 guests. Once married you and your guests can enjoy a celebratory drink in the historic courtyard at the front of the Manor house, or perhaps head to our landscaped patios and gardens. Enjoy your wedding breakfast and evening party either in the St.Pierre Suite, Chepstow Suite or St. David’s Suite, all rooms filled with plenty of character. The venue boasts a huge variety of picture-perfect backdrops for your wedding photos.

Our Wedding at St Pierre
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding at St Pierre Chepstow. From the very beginning, the team were so helpful with the planning and made the whole process feel really easy.
They were always happy to give advice on suppliers, guide us on what we would need and answer all of our questions along the way. We were also able to access the reception room the day before, which made such a difference and took a lot of stress out of setting everything up.
One thing that really stood out to us was how the team responded when something unexpected happened that was completely outside of their control. We had a medical emergency during the day, and the care, professionalism and genuine concern shown by the whole team was incredible. They were absolutely flawless in how they handled the situation and continued to check in, support and look after the individual throughout the day, right until they left the venue. We really believe you see the true quality of a venue and its team in how they respond when things don’t go to plan, and St Pierre could not have handled it better.
Outside of that, the wedding ran so smoothly from start to finish. The team even collected all the bridesmaids and the bride in the golf buggy, which was such a lovely touch! The food was excellent, the staff were amazing and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They were also incredibly accommodating with all of our bespoke and specific requests, which really helped make the day feel personal and special to us. From the evening before right through to the moment the lights came on at the end of the night, everything was handled so well.
A huge thank you specifically to Charlotte, Ryan, David, Tony, Heidi and the rest of the team at St Pierre for helping make our wedding day so special. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more and would absolutely recommend St Pierre to anyone considering it for their wedding!

Treated us like royalty
So glad that we picked this place. Right from the off they were so accommodating and really looked after us. They were organised and responsive. They put me in touch with some great suppliers too! The food was amazing and we had lots of compliments. There was only one down fall, which was that we asked for the England game to be put on at 11 so our guests stayed in the room we hired. This didn't happen so come 10/11pm a lot of our guests were in the bar next door. Real shame as everything else was top notch!

We had the perfect wedding at St Pierre. From the moment we first visited the venue, we knew it was the right place for us. The setting itself is beautiful, but what truly made our day exceptional was the professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail demonstrated by every member of staff.
Our vision was to create an intimate wedding that genuinely reflected us as a couple, and St Pierre helped bring that vision to life perfectly. The feedback from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on both the atmosphere and the seamless organisation of the day.
Charlotte, our wedding planner, was absolutely outstanding. She ensured that every detail was carefully considered and expertly managed, including working closely with the chef to create a stunning cheese and charcuterie board instead of a traditional buffet. Her support and guidance throughout the planning process gave us complete confidence that everything would run smoothly.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Heidi, who looked after us throughout the reception. Although this was her first wedding as the lead coordinator, you would never have known it from her professionalism, warmth, and impeccable attention to detail.
While the venue itself is undeniably beautiful and highly recommended as a wedding location, it was the people at St Pierre who made our day truly unforgettable. Their commitment to ensuring every aspect of our wedding was exactly as we had hoped made all the difference. We cannot thank them enough for helping create such a special and memorable day.

Our wedding - the best day
We had the best day celebrating our wedding at St. Pierre's. From the moment we saw the venue for the first time, to actually getting married, everything ran seamlessly. Charlotte is amazing at what she does, she is extremely on the ball, professional, kind and friendly, all rolled into one. She responded to any queries we had in record time and was approachable throughout. Because of Charlotte, the day was perfect! I also want to give my heartfelt thanks to Heidi, who took over as lead organiser in the evening. She was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day ever! She is a credit to you! In fact, all staff were brilliant, patient and friendly and I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to celebrate any sort of occasion. There was nothing that could have been improved upon. It's a beautiful venue and we shared our day with beautiful people (family, friends and St Pierre's staff). Thank you so much for everything!

Our amazing wedding at St Pierre
We got married at St Pierre on 02/04/2026, it was literally the wedding on our dreams, it was perfect from start to finish, the venue is absolutely stunning and all the staff there are absolutely amazing, we haven’t stopped talking about how lush and helpful all the staff were, they all made the whole experience so much better, they can’t do enough for you, Charlotte smith the wedding coordinator was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. She made sure everything was perfect and did everything she possibly could to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Anything we asked and any changes nothing was a problem she just made it happen, She was always on hand to answer any questions and queries and made the whole day and whole experience leading up to it so enjoyable and seem less, I really can’t recommend Charlotte and St Pierre enough

New Year’s Eve Wedding
It was the wedding of dreams!
Charlotte was absolutely amazing and accommodated us right from the start. She was so warm, friendly and helped to make everything run smoothly.
The grounds & venue itself were stunning. The decorations due to the time of year helped to make it look so magical.
The food was delicious & the chef was so personable.
I would definitely recommend this venue, it was one out of a fairytale!

Excellent venue and team for our small wedding (60 guests)
From the initial enquiry to the execution of the day, it was faultless.
We were unsure how smoothly the turn arounds of the room would go, but these were seamless.
The service from Maz & Natalia and their team was exceptional, nothing was ever too much trouble, and we were kept well informed every step of the way.
Tony and his catering team delivered excellent food, both quality, taste, quantity and presentation.
We have had numerous comments of praise from our guests, saying it was one of the best weddings they have attended and how stunning the venue is.
The wedding was good value for money, but the bar prices are high, typical of a hotel venue.

A beautiful wedding venue
We booked this venue soon after the open day as the grounds were so beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking!
I imagined our wedding here as soon as I saw it!

August 2025 wedding!
We can't thank Lisa, Mariam and the team at St Pierre enough for all there help throughout our wedding planning journey. The day was amazing, with very smooth transitions and helpful staff! The team were amazing decorating the St Pierre suite with our supplies the morning of the wedding, and it looked perfect and was stress free! The food was amazing, and the BBQ boards went down very well with our guests on a gorgeous summer's day with many people commenting how it was nice to have different options of food at a wedding! We would definitely recommend St Pierre as a wedding venue, it was extra special for us as all of our guests had the opportunity to stay at the venue, and socialise the morning after the wedding, which is just what we wanted! Bespoke Wedding
We created a bespoke wedding package at St. Pierre’s due to our small group of guests (less than 50). We were able to make individual decisions on choice of room for the celebration, food drinks etc. With the weather being really lovely on the day, our coordinator suggested holding the ceremony in the courtyard, and it was beautiful. The day couldn’t have gone any better than imagined. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.
