We are still pinching ourselves at just how perfect our wedding at St Michael’s Resort was. From start to finish, the whole team went above and beyond, and we feel so grateful to every single person who made the day what it was.

From the very beginning, Nikki, the sales manager, made us fall in love with the space. She embraced all our crazy ideas, put us at ease straight away, and really sold us on the laid-back, relaxed feel of the venue; exactly the vibe we were looking for.

As our planning progressed, Lana joined the team as our coordinator and immediately hit the ground running. She kept us so well informed, supported us with both our vegan and gluten-free needs (a difficult duo to cater for), and helped bring our vision to life. It was such a comfort knowing she was on our side throughout the planning (and we’re convinced we’ll see her at a Zach Bryan gig sometime soon!).

On the day itself, Ella stepped in last minute and was an absolute star, we couldn’t have been luckier! Her warm, bubbly energy was exactly what we needed; she managed everything to perfection while keeping us relaxed and fully present. She struck the perfect balance of keeping us updated without ever intruding on those special moments.

Andrew, the F&B manager, was also incredible. He fielded my endless questions with patience, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. He was with us from 8am until midnight on the wedding day, literally through every moment, making sure things were running without a hitch!

Alongside the amazing service, was of course, the bespoke menu the chefs created for us which was nothing short of phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about it!

And finally, bar man Oli deserves his own special shout-out. From our pre-wedding event to the big day itself (and somehow still showing up at breakfast the morning after), he spent practically 24 hours with us and our guests; serving up fantastic drinks, even better dance moves, and endless energy. He felt like part of the party as much as part of the team, and we can’t thank him enough.

The whole team at St Michael’s were amazing. They made sure every detail, no matter how small, was handled with care and warmth. From the monumental vegan breakfast spread of dreams for the bridal party, to the way they looked after each and every one of our guests, they exceeded every expectation we had.

We are endlessly grateful to everyone at St Michael’s Resort. They didn’t just host our wedding; they created an experience we and our guests will treasure forever. The stunning sea views and beautiful setting were the icing on the cake, but it was the people who made it truly unforgettable. We already can’t wait to come back again!

I switched wedding planners quite a bit in the process but the team at the resort gave myself and Matt a lovely wedding day and added lovely touches. Lots of planning with Lana and key details covered. It would be nice if the bridal suite was included with the package and the hotel accommodated this more to the bride.

The rooms were quite hot as it was a heat wave but some key transitions of moving items across to rooms could of been smoother. The venue, food, drink and atmosphere was amazing. The venue was good value and we had the most memorable day with our family and friends.

The hotel hosted our local Cornish by the sea wedding to a very high standard and accommodated requests made.

The team at St Michaels truly made our wedding reception a dream come true! From our first meeting with the events team, we felt completely supported in bringing our ideas to life. They listened carefully to our vision for The Bay’s layout and even went the extra mile by decorating it for us (without any help from us/our bridal party)—something we hadn’t expected and appreciated so much! They laid all of the decor out far better than we could've managed.

The food was absolutely unforgettable, and our guests are still talking about it! The staff were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, both at our rehearsal BBQ the night before and throughout the big day. Ellie, our Events Organiser, was an absolute gem. She paid such close attention to every detail and had wonderful suggestions that made our ideas even better. She was so patient with us and we'll never forget that.

The team’s flexibility and thoughtfulness helped create the warm, joyful atmosphere we’d dreamed of. Staying in a gorgeous room that night was a perfect end to the day, and having breakfast with a stunning view of Gylly Beach the next morning was the icing on the cake. We also loved relaxing afterwards at a discounted spa session! (Which was much needed!)

St Michaels was everything we’d hoped for and more. We’re so grateful for such an incredible experience, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly as a reception venue! We can't wait to come and stay again on our anniversary.

This venue is simply incredible. We couldn’t have asked for more! The St Michaels team were so attentive from day one - and made it an absolute pleasure to organise a wedding. They took out the stress out of it and would do anything to enable us to have the perfect day which reflected us. They recommend the most amazing suppliers - such as cheese for our cheese cake and macarons. By the end of our wedding weekend we felt we made friends for life and we can’t wait to return yearly for our anniversary (with your first year anniversary included)! The chefs were amazing and even tweaked menus so that all of our guests were happy with food. The staff at St Michaels are also so friendly and attentive and made the entire experience for us and our guests wonderful for the wedding weekend. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone thinking about it. You won’t be disappointed.

From the first contact I felt that the event was in safe hands; the organisation was calm and efficient, the private room was great, and the buffet food was extremely good. Special thanks to Jordan, and to Madison who helped to organise at many of the guests' rooms. All commented on the excellent level of service. You helped to make my daughter's wedding wonderful!
