When we first viewed Hobbit Hill, we were in awe - we looked at one more venue but then thought "why are we wasting our time looking anywhere else" - this was purely based on the how the venue looked alone - but the amazing bonus is the team - nothing was too big or too small, and they always did everything with a smile on their face. Many of our guests commented how they always saw Jen running around after us, making sure we always had a drink in our hand. I was feeling anxious a few months before the wedding, but after a meeting with Jen, all those worries went away - she is definitely the person you need around on your wedding day! Her and her team's experience definitely shines through, and we could not have be more grateful to them that they made our day so perfect for us.

Our wedding at Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the very beginning, the team made the whole experience feel calm, organised, and genuinely enjoyable. Every email or question we had was answered quickly—usually within the same day—which gave us so much reassurance throughout the planning process. The venue itself is simply stunning. Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn are beautiful exactly as they are, even without flowers or decorations. The character and charm of the buildings speak for themselves. Inside, the Tithe Barn has such a warm, romantic atmosphere with its incredible beams and historic features, while outside the surrounding grounds are equally breathtaking. Every corner feels picturesque, and it made the perfect backdrop for our wedding photographs. From the gardens to the historic stone buildings, it truly felt magical. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff. They handled everything so professionally and quietly in the background, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy every moment. The whole day felt calm and effortless, which is exactly what every couple hopes for. What really made the experience special was the team. Every member of staff we interacted with was kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always happy to answer questions and offer guidance. Their warmth and professionalism made such a difference and helped make the entire day feel relaxed and joyful. The accommodation around the venue was also fantastic and made the whole experience even more special. I stayed in the Mews Cottage the night before the wedding, which was perfect. It was cosy, clean, and such a lovely place to relax before the big day. One of the highlights was the separate cabin outside where we were able to get ready in the morning. It was such a wonderful space for hair, makeup, and spending those special moments with everyone before the ceremony. Our guests stayed in the pods on the grounds, which were something a little different and a really fun experience. Everyone commented on how comfortable they were, and they loved staying somewhere so unique right by the venue. My other half stayed just down the road at Shepherd’s Cottage, which is another beautiful place to stay. It has generous, spacious rooms and the drive down to it is absolutely stunning. All of the accommodation is set within the most beautiful countryside, which really adds to the charm and peaceful atmosphere of the whole venue. It made the entire wedding experience feel like a special getaway for us and our guests. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more supportive team. Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly stunning and welcoming wedding venue.

From the start to the end we couldn’t recommend Bashall Barn more if we tried as the choice for our wedding venue. From the first viewing which we chose to do as a private viewing we knew straight away this would be our wedding venue, a couple of key things that stood out to us were the 3 reveals of different rooms for each key point of your day ensuring you were never having to move out of a space so they could re organise it for the next part of the day, at Bashall there is always a next space and our guests loved this, we had people coming up to us going is there more reveals as they couldn’t believe it. The staff are so friendly and attentive from the day you meet them right through to your wedding day. Megan and Izzy’s responsiveness is so efficient you would always hear back that same day from your enquiry or question and on our wedding day they were just so helpful and lovely. The food is honestly incredible and the options are endless, we have had so many guests messaging us about the food since our wedding day. Some of the key things we loved about having Bashall as our wedding venue are: - Wedding Suite is available the night before and night of your wedding and there is on site accommodation for guests. - The Wedding Suite is beautiful and that bathroom 😍😍😍 - The views are beautiful and the photo opportunities are endless (even on our very windy and rainy wedding day we still had some amazing photos inside and outside, once the rain had stopped) - The 3 spaces for Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and Evening - The fact you can get a DJ included in your package for free if you had 100+ evening guests. - The breakfast in the morning with all your guests who stayed on site with you. We had the best day and still can’t stop talking about Bashall, we would honestly recommend this venue to any couple looking for their wedding venue.
