You might choose Hobbit Hill's own Round Wood for a candlelit woodland ceremony with tree trunk seating for your guests. During colder weather, they offer indoor spaces for ceremonies. After exchanging vows, you can dine and dance with up to 130 guests in their recently built Wedding Barn. This stunning space features ceiling-high oak trusses, perfect for a rustic-chic reception. On sunny days, you can bring the outside in by opening their bi-folding doors, which are the entire length of the barn. After a night of celebrations, you and your loved ones can retreat to their secluded glamping pods for a blissful rest. If you are hosting a large-scale wedding party, they provide electricity connections for guests who bring their own tents and caravans.

Incredible venue
When we first viewed Hobbit Hill, we were in awe - we looked at one more venue but then thought "why are we wasting our time looking anywhere else" - this was purely based on the how the venue looked alone - but the amazing bonus is the team - nothing was too big or too small, and they always did everything with a smile on their face. Many of our guests commented how they always saw Jen running around after us, making sure we always had a drink in our hand.
I was feeling anxious a few months before the wedding, but after a meeting with Jen, all those worries went away - she is definitely the person you need around on your wedding day! Her and her team's experience definitely shines through, and we could not have be more grateful to them that they made our day so perfect for us.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. From the very first visit, we knew this venue was something special, but the reality of our day exceeded every expectation.
The setting itself is absolutely stunning, with every detail creating a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere for both us and our guests. Whether it was the ceremony space, the reception area, or the surrounding grounds, everything felt thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained.
What truly sets this venue apart, though, is the team behind it. Every member of staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. They handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment without worry. No request felt too big or too small, and their experience and calm approach made the whole day run effortlessly.

A perfect venue for our special day
I cannot thank the staff at Hobbit Hill enough... from the day we were shown around to the day of our wedding, they were helpful, polite, kind and super organised.
The venue was spotless and the entire day ran so perfectly, they knew exactly what they are doing and this really contributed to how amazing the experience was.
I had multiple family & friends compliment the staff & the venue on how great the day was.
I would not change a single detail and I am forever grateful to Hobbit Hill for helping give me the best day of my life ❤️

We truly couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to get married than Hobbit Hill. From the very first time we visited, we fell in love with it, but our wedding day somehow still managed to exceed every expectation we had. It was honestly everything and more than we could have ever imagined. We married on one of the most romantic days, Valentines Day and it completely lived up to expectations!
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The views across the countryside create the most incredible backdrop and make the whole place feel so magical and peaceful at the same time. Everywhere you look is beautiful, and it made our day feel so special from the moment we arrived.
The accommodation was unreal! The bridal suite was the perfect place to get ready on the morning of the wedding and somewhere we could relax together afterwards, and the pods were such a lovely touch for our guests to stay in too. It really makes the whole experience feel like a little wedding getaway rather than just a single day.
All of the staff were wonderful and made us feel so looked after, but we have to say a huge thank you to Jen. She truly went above and beyond for us and played such a big part in making our day so special. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and she made everything feel so calm and effortless, which meant we could just enjoy every second.

Incredible!
I am still struggling to find the words to describe this most incredible venue. The building, grounds and staff are all absolutely amazing. It was literally the best day of my life and I am so so glad we chose Hobbit Hill. It was perfect from beginning to end.

A 'Perfectly Perfect' Day
Genuinely cannot say thank you enough to everyone at Hobbit Hill for making our day so special. From the moment we looked around the venue, we knew it was the one! Becky, Jen and the team were absolutely wonderful in every aspect and couldn't do enough to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning - even if we couldnt use the grounds due to the torrential rain! Everything was still more than we could have imagined - would absolutely recommend this venue 1000%. Couldn't have imagined our day being anywhere else! Thank you so much!!

Our Wedding Day
From the moment we arrived at Hobbit Hill, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We'd visited a few venues across Lancashire but Hobbit Hill stood out by a million miles. Our initial meeting with Becky was amazing, she went through everything we needed to know and we booked our date there and then. Leading up to the wedding, the girls at Hobbit Hill were on hand whenever I needed them. They supported us throughout the planning stages and everything went smoothly. Nothing was ever too much! The day was just spectacular! Jen was amazing with all of us, especially the bride and groom! She calmed our nerves and shared so much advice we'd never have thought of ourselves. Jen was incredible with the whole bridal party and guided us through the morning with ease. Thank you so much Jen! Hobbit Hill really is the most magical place to get married with the gorgeous wooded area, to the stunning views and the accommodation for guests is top notch!! Thank you all so much for making our wedding day the most special day of our lives, a day we will never forget ❤️

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team than at Hobbit Hill. From the very start, they were absolutely amazing, always so helpful, friendly and quick to answer any questions we had in the lead-up to the big day. A huge thank you to Jen and the whole team for making everything run so smoothly and for being so supportive throughout the entire journey.

Can we do it all again please?
When we got engaged in 2023 we spent a day looking around three venues in the Ribble Valley. When we parked up at Hobbit Hill and got out of the car we just knew it was 'the one'!. Jen is a family friend so we knew we were in good hands from the start. Over the two years of planning, she was on hand to answer any questions we had and didn't mind when we turned up to nearly every wedding fair with a list of questions and always responded to our emails (I say we but I completely mean me!). When our time (finally!) arrived, we were allowed access the day before to set up and I also stayed in The Shire the night before with my bridesmaids. I loved being able to do this as it made the morning of the wedding as stress free as possible as everything was done and I was already there. We had the most perfect day in the most beautiful surroundings, all our guests were very complimentary of the venue, the grounds and the staff. Jen and the team did a fantastic job looking after us, our families and all our guests. We cannot thank them enough for the part they played in making our day as wonderful and as memorable as it was. If only we could do it all again!

The BEST day.
Our day was absolutely incredible, despite it being possibly the worst weather imaginable - non-stop torrential rain without a break. Thankfully, the Hobbit Hill team were brilliant and accommodated indoor group photos, extra space when needed and provided a beautiful, cosy atmosphere in the evening. We even ended up dancing outside in the night-time rain and getting the most beautiful photographs.
Jen, our wedding co-ordinator did a wonderful job both before and during the day. Anything we needed, she was there ready to help.
The best thing about Hobbit Hill for us was that you can have the whole venue, exclusively, from 10am the day before - so we were able to dress the rooms ourselves and enjoy the night before with friends and family who were staying on site. This really added to the experience for us, nothing felt rushed.
I would recommend this venue to anyone. The accommodation is stunning, the setting is simply perfect and the staff are brilliant.

The wedding venue of fairytales
I honestly don’t know where to begin with this venue, the beautiful surroundings that hold this space and the beautiful staff that make the venue what it is.
We went to only two wedding venues to look around and as soon as we saw here we knew there was nowhere that would even come close to hosting our day. The process of planning was completely smooth from the get go with Jen’s support. Jen was always so prompt at getting back to us with any queries we had and she always felt approachable, supportive but also so human with us, putting two people who were complete clueless about organising anything totally at ease!
The venue is just breathtaking, all of our guests were in complete awe of the place and the round wood for the ceremony. In the evening there was such a magical feel to the day and we have memories with family that will last a lifetime from this beautiful setting.
Jen went absolutely above and beyond on the day, even working with my brother and our saxophonist to ensure I came down the aisle to the exact timing of a heartfelt part of the wedding song I had chosen. All the staff were always so helpful and friendly whenever we visited and on the day.
If you are considering this venue, go for it! Theres absolutely no way you will regret it. Thank you all so so much from the bottom of our hearts. Mr and Mrs Nester xxxx

Most stunning wedding venue!
I was introduced to Hobbit Hill when I was looking for a venue to host an engagement party but as soon as we saw it we knew it had to be our wedding venue! It is the most stunning place EVER! The views across the Ribble Valley are outstanding, the barn itself is gorgeous and so well decorated. The Shire is also so gorgeous and an amazing place to get ready for the morning of your wedding. Don’t even get me started on the woodland area. All I wanted to do was get married there and thankfully the rain held off so we could. One thing that I absolutely loved about this venue is the fact that they only do weddings three times a week so it doesn’t feel like a factory churning out weddings. You essentially get 2 full days out of the venue itself which is quite rare.
The staff, in particular Jen, are out of this world. They cannot do enough for you and work tirelessly to ensure your day is perfect! I prepared myself on the build up that it wouldn’t be perfect and things always go wrong but I can honestly say nothing went wrong for us at all and that can only be because of how well the team work with all the vendors.

Cannot fault this venue
As soon as we first visited Hobbit Hill we fell in love with the rustic decor & beautiful scenery. The venue was the perfect place for our wedding and everyone who came loved it.
All the staff were professional & helpful (even with my millions of questions) and nothing was too much trouble.
