Sarah brought our vision to life by really seeing us. Not just hearing what we said we wanted, but understanding the feeling behind it. She took our loose ideas about wanting something intimate, natural, and emotionally real, and somehow captured it all so beautifully. What we didn’t expect was how much she’d help shape the experience itself—not just photograph it. From helping us feel confident in the locations we chose, to gently guiding us through the day without it ever feeling staged or rushed, the way she was able to pivot when I took too long getting ready, she added so much more value than we could have imagined. It felt like she was part storyteller, part guide, and part calm, grounding presence. When we got our actual album back, we were speechless. Seeing our photos for the first time felt like reliving the day all over again, but even more emotional, because we got to see moments we didn’t even realize had happened. We laughed, we cried, and we kept saying, ‘This is so us.’ She captured the feeling, the connection, the setting (EVERYTHING) in such a thoughtful and beautiful way. It was overwhelming in the best possible sense, and we’ll treasure these images for the rest of our lives.

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah...! You are just a truly wonderful human being, and no amount of words can be used to try and let you know that. From day one you have been on our team, having our backs and supporting us in ways that we would never have expected a photographer to have been able to. Not simply guidance with photography, but every SINGLE element of our day, with your advice, care and genuine desire for us to have the most magical time together for our wedding day.

From the beginning when we found you, we booked you purely based on the fact that your work, your art, is truly the best in the business - that was never a doubt for us. But by you being just the most incredible person to us throughout meant that we knew that not only did we have the best photographer in terms of skills, we also had the best PERSON on our side.

I mean, you gave BIRTH to a beautiful little angel A MONTH before our wedding, and you showed up for us in ways that we can never repay you for, when inside all you must have wanted is to be at home with your family in your special period. Not only that, but you turned up knowing every detail of our day inside and out, in many ways even better than we knew ourselves, and we can't begin to describe how much we have appreciated every single thing about not just your work, but you, as Sarah. Come on people?! This woman is the most incredible, powerful and beautiful human both professionally and on a personal level.

You understood us, you care for us and you made DAMN sure that you made us your entire priority for ensuring that we have the best memories to look back on for our day. Thank you Sarah, you are not only our wedding photographer, but you are our friend. We don't see you as a 'vendor' from our wedding bookings, we see you as a truly wonderful human being that we are proud to call our pal.

I don't even know how described how amazing everything was from the very beginning. Sarah responded very quickly, answered all my questions, and was beyond kind before we even officially booked. And between her responses and portfolio, booking was a no brainer!
Any idea I threw her way, she was down with! Including hiking through tall brush and mud, then going on a very steep, and very muddy, hike into a gorge.
She was so kind and funny every step of the way and I would 100% book her again on her personality alone, but if you add her photography skills to the mix, it becomes 1000%. I'm absolutely blown away by the photos she took... They're magical and beautiful and sexy and everything in-between. She is so good at capturing and maintaining personality in her photos, I'm in awe.
I didn't think my wedding day could have been anymore perfect, but she proved me wrong and thanks to Sarah, I get to look back and remember it forever!

Sarah was the best photographer we could have asked for. She was professional yet relaxed, and made us feel like she had everything under control and made us confident that our pictures looked great! Before, during and after the wedding Sarah made us feel at ease. Our family and friends all thought she were great and everyone was excited to see the photos.

Thistle & Stone were fab from the off, Sarah was the only photographer of the 6 that we reached out too who contacted us and asked if we were ok with a video chat. It was a great way of getting to know her and her to know us. She also sent us some questionnaires so that she knew the sort of thing we liked and the 'feel' we were after with our photos.

Sarah did a pre-wedding photoshoot for my wife and I at the dead sea in jordan. She has a very artistic eye and was very courteous and professional. She responded promptly to our questions and concerns and we were very comfortable working with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Sarah has been excellent throughout our entire process and has provided fantastic photos of our wedding. We really enjoyed working with Sarah, as she is friendly and very understanding.
As we had a small wedding, we were very selective when picking our vendors as we wanted someone who would support us and make us feel comfortable, and Sarah did! We booked an adventure session before the wedding, which was helpful in seeing how we fit in with Sarah’s photography style and how working with her would be on the wedding day. We had so much fun felt extremely comfortable. When taking portraits on the wedding day, we already established a sense of comfort not just with Sarah, but with taking photos in general, which I believe is reflected in how beautiful and genuine our photos are from both sessions.
Sarah also brought her deep understanding of the wedding industry and how photography plays a part in it. She offered wedding planning advice, which was vital in my planning, especially regarding the wedding day schedule. We also discussed the layout of the venue and what might affect the photos such as lighting and positioning, which helped to manage my expectations for what the photos would look like. Because of her advice and expertise, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the day and savor every moment.
She set clear expectations for communication and timelines of when our photos would be back, and even supplied us with a website that included weekly updates on where she was with editing.
Sarah really goes above and beyond for her clients. I would recommend her time and time again.

I love every photo Sarah took. They are dramatic, personal, and most of all tell the story of my magical day. We hired her a year and a few months before our Scottish Elopement. She kept in contact with us the whole year, getting to know us, and our story. Wedding day came and I had a friend capturing my special day. She always went the extra mile for us and worked tirelessly on my photos. I loved working her and would do so again.

When I saw Sarah’s portfolio I could see all the warmth, colour and natural beauty I wanted our own wedding to radiate. I had every faith that Sarah would capture this for us. She was super flexible with our timeline and the logistics of our venues (it was just a small 30 mile juggling act between them all) and her pricing was really reasonable. She asked every question under the sun in preparation to ensure she captured exactly what we wanted. On the day I unfortunately felt really unwell, but Sarah (and her wonderful photography partner Matt) were so patient and kind and kept my spirits high – as well as being everywhere they needed to be and perfectly on time, not missing a moment.
After our big day, the wedding blues really got to me – the big, beautiful day had been and gone and my lasting memory was feeling unwell. But, when our first round of pictures were sent to us, memories of so much joy and all the most wonderful parts of the day came flooding back to me, my wedding blues were cured and my lasting memory is now of all the happiness that the day was full to the brim with – to the point that when I most recently spoke to Sarah and she reminded me of how unwell I was on the day, I had all but forgot about it and could only really remember the high points, thank goodness!
Sarah’s work resulted in just short of 2000 pictures of our guests looking gorgeous in an autumnal haven, my husband crying his eyes out (he was happy, I promise) and so many little moments that otherwise might not have been remembered. I look at them all the time and I’m so grateful that we can immerse ourselves in that day so entirely. And it’s always a pleasure to hear from Sarah and catch up with her – even a whole year on from our wedding.

Sarah was amazing from start to finish - the perfect balance of casual and professional. She makes sure you feel comfortable and is so attentive and understanding.

Our photos are to die for and she really captured our love for one another so beautifully. The talent is off the scale!

We had a traditional church wedding and she catered to exactly what we wanted. As the bride in the morning I had a bit of a wobble and she was so lovely and helped me so much with extra bits!!

Sarah's work blew us away. She is professional, a joy to be around, and works magic with a camera.
