Having Mark as a photographer for your wedding is a breath of fresh air. He has such an incredible personality. And he has such attentive communication that we always felt like we were on the same page. We were so impressed with his ability to keep things upbeat and light while managing to get everyone set up for such striking photos. With so much going on during the wedding day Mark does a great job at blending in and capturing great candid photos as well.
Mark somehow has so much energy that it is contagious throughout the entire event. The photos that he took of all of us with our wedding parties while getting ready added so much fun to the process. Any time he set us up for photos it was difficult not to be smiling and laughing together. For the brief moments needed to take serious shots between the laughter, Mark’s timing was spot on to get those as well.
He made us so comfortable while posing for our bride and groom photos that everything he was capturing was so genuine. We owe him a big thank you for getting us to smile and laugh while posing. He helped with all the small minutiae as well, including helping the bride maneuver her giant dress train and even helped tie a tie when emotions were too high during the father-daughter first look and the bride presented her dad with a custom tie.
Additionally, Mark was extremely patient throughout the whole event. He dealt with us being off schedule and with corralling our families & friends around the castle (which is no small feat when a decent portion of the group didn’t even speak the same language).
We cannot say enough great things about the finalized photos that he sent us. He did such a great job bringing everything to life in the pictures. We are just in awe at the amount of talent that Mark has and can’t be happier with everything he did. If you are planning a wedding, and lucky enough to come across Mark’s photography, he should be your first choice.

We immediately gelled with Mark. From the first meeting to the day, right through to the ordering of photos.

Mark has a great sense of humour and made the most photo shy wedding party feel comfortable and at ease. He was brilliant in organising the shoot and helping the best man corral the party (relatives have a way of disappearing at the wrong time).

When it was time for our photos he was brilliant, relaxed and full of fun and jokes. The wedding day is so stressful, not having to worry about how to stand, or what pose to strike, it really made the day go so well.

When I started creating a spreadsheet for all possible wedding photographers I immediately knew that I wanted Mark to be the one to shoot our wedding. Thankfully my now husband agreed! Mark has an uncanny ability to capture the beautiful emotional moments of a wedding - you can see the love and the joy in everyone he took pictures of. Even before our guests saw any pictures they were impressed with him too. I thought it was also a good sign that Mark is up front about pricing and what you get for what price. Mark was also wonderful at putting us at ease and guiding us through the shots – we generally hate being in front of cameras but he even managed to make it fun or have us forget we were having our picture taken. As it’s a wedding you do want *some* posed shots, but Marks pacing and instructions made those a good experience too. Mark was also fantastic in non-photography ways: without him and his suncream we’d for instance have had a tomato groom and a fallen out veil. In short: if you want your wedding photos to make you wonderfully emotional and also have a good time on the day, then choose Mark to be your photographer!

Mark was absolutely amazing to work with both leading up to and on our wedding day. He made sure to keep us right, ensured we got all the photos we asked for and was so good at making everyone feel relaxed and at ease when getting their photos taken. We never once felt awkward or that the photos were forced and everyone commented on how great he was. 10000% recommending Mark to absolutely everyone who needs a photographer, your photos will come out even better than you thought they could!

If you are choosing between photographers for your wedding do not hesitate to book Mark! He is an all round great guy, super patient (and trust me I contacted him many times with so many questions before and after) and a super talented photographer.

On the day Mark was excellent, making sure everyone knew what was needed, giving hint & tips to make for perfect photos, he made us feel as ease the whole day. The couple photos- the bit I was looking forward to the least in our day is actually now one of my favourite memories 🥰.

Having received the album I can confirm the photos are even better printed than on the laptop. They are of the highest standard. We literally couldn’t be happier 😍
