The team at the Hoste were outstanding from beginning to end, and couldn't do enough for us for our wedding in March 2024. Jade was particularly brilliant and helped guide us through planning the day in the weeks leading up, then ensured that the event itself ran so smoothly. She totally understood what we wanted from our wedding day and was across everything, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the whole weekend with our family and friends.

We had a ceremony with 80 guests in the garden room, using the existing tall plant pots to anchor the space. Minimum decor was need as the space is already so beautifully decorated in blue and green hues, and flooded with natural light. The drinks reception took place within the walled garden where we got lucky with some sunshine and were protected from the wind. The garden is the perfect place for wedding portraits, especially against the old stone walls, and it was a great change of scenery while the garden room was flipped for dinner - which didn't take long at all.

For the wedding breakfast, we used The Hoste's own tables, linen and crockery/glassware and only needed to hire in vases, candles and picture frames for our table numbers. Between our first viewing and our wedding day, they had added more fairy lights all over the ceiling of the garden room, which looked spectacular after the sun had gone down.

The food was brilliant and the chef was happy to tweak the menu slightly so we had an alternative side for the main course. The portion sizes are extremely generous so you don't need to worry about anyone going hungry, and the 'midnight snack' of fish and chips was the best we'd ever had!

For accommodation, we'd booked the rooms surrounding the walled garden as well as The Vine House (a private property across the road also owned by the Hoste) and everyone loved how convenient it was to be able to run back to their rooms at any point during the evening. The Vine House was also the perfect place for welcome drinks the night before the wedding, and for the groom and groomsmen to get ready on the big day while being out of the way of the bridal party. The bedrooms here and within the main hotel are decorated to a high standard, so great for any getting-ready photos, and there are several communal spaces for hotel guests to relax in. The surrounding village of Burnham Market is also a fantastic setting for photos, or any last-minute purchases.

The staff were the real stars of the show - they were all more than happy to help with any requests during our stay, and were so friendly and accommodating. The fact that our guests had the same experience with the brilliant staff really helped to make our wedding weekend extra special.

We would highly recommend The Hoste if you're looking for a beautiful yet relaxed wedding with a brilliant team behind the scenes.

When we first viewed this venue we fell in love with the bright, open space and modern decor which overlooks a secluded courtyard. We knew that whether our ceremony was indoors or outdoors, it would be equally beautiful and that was important to us as it’s impossible to predict the weather! We also loved that The Hoste is dog friendly, so this meant that our fur baby was able to be part of our special day.

We will be forever grateful for Jade’s amazing leadership and organisational skills throughout. On the day of our wedding she ensured that everyone and everything was in the right place at the right time, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our day, we couldn’t have done it without her!

We had the most amazing day at The Hoste in September 2023. Jade was amazingly helpful from the start (we first visited some 18 mths before!) and was always really helpful and responded quickly when we had any queries. The venue itself is amazing, and all of our guests have commented on how lovely it is there, and how great the food, facilities and customer service is. I honestly would recommend this as a wedding venue for anyone who is looking in the Norfolk area!

From our first visit and leading up to the day, Jade and Lisa were great; listening to our plans, answering questions and making suggestions to help with planning our day.
We fell in love with the light airy Garden Room on our first visit and though it was winter we could see how lovely the Walled Garden would be for our ceremony and guests to enjoy on our day.
We decorated and set up the Garden Room the afternoon before and Jade and Lisa were so welcoming and on hand to help with all the details. The day itself was managed perfectly by Jade, Lisa and their team from start to finish.
Our guests all had a lovely day, many complimenting the food and venue. The majority of our friends and family are from Norfolk and though many of them had visited The Hoste previously, many hadn't realised there was a dedicated and separate event space.
Thanks again to Jade, Lisa and they're brilliant team for such a fantastic day, we only wish we could do it all again!

We had a small guest number and struggled to find anywhere that this wasn’t an issue for.
Jade was amazing and planned our day to perfection. Starting with drinks and snacks for the group before the ceremony, we had an area of the hotel bar set aside for us and a designated bar man to look after us. Charles was a superstar and nothing was too much trouble for him, including getting ice cream and straws for our toddler!
Jade was brilliant at getting hubby to the registrar on time and coordinating the group so we were all where we should be at the right time!
From start to finish we felt properly looked after, nothing was too much trouble for anybody at The Hoste.
Everything went perfectly, the food was amazing, even the fussiest eaters said that they really enjoyed the food.
We had the whole of The Vine House for our party and this worked so well. After we had finished eating , drinking and dancing we went back there and could relax in our own area.
If I could go back and do the day again I would do much so we are planning an anniversary trip next year!

From the minute we arrived at The Hoste travelling from Kent to view the Venue, I knew I wanted to get married at The Hoste, Jade was so accommodating, nothing was too much to ask!

We arrived the day before our wedding, was able to set up, go through final plans and music, the team were so friendly and helpful whenever we needed them.

From moment one we knew this venue would be perfect and it was. The weather was great so we had the ceremony in the walled garden which looked absolutely beautiful. Our reception was in the garden room, which is where we would have been if it had rained, and with all the large doors open it was just like being in the garden and worked perfectly. The staff were all great and the food was delicious. Jade, (the events manager) was fantastic from the first moment we spoke and had everything covered so we didn’t have to worry about a thing, on the day and in the lead up. We had the best day and would recommend The Hoste to anyone.

Our day was absolutely amazing. We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather but there were other options if the rain didn’t hold off. We were kept in contact with leading up to our wedding so all questions and queries were answered. We absolutely loved tasting our menu and The Hoste was very accommodating for all our requests.
The day itself was seamless. Jade helped bring our vision to life and was amazing on the day. Everyone commented on how friendly and professional the staff were, and how kind and helpful they were with the children. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Everyone had a brilliant time and I wish we could do it all over again.

My goodness, what can we say.......simply the best venue we could have wished for to hold our wedding. Jade the events planner, was exceptional; from the first meet up until our wedding evening she looked after us and our wedding wouldn't have been half the day it was without her. Thank you Jade, you are a genuine superstar. Such praise for the Reception team who looked after all our guests so well and couldn't do enough for us, and for the catering and bar teams who served up such delicious food, cocktails and more throughout the day and evening and always with a smile on thier face. The housekeeping team turned around our room spotlessly, from a hectic bridal get ready room into a romantic bridal suite. So many of our guests commented on what a brilliant venue we choose; and the staff are all a credit to you. A fabulous venue and our day was just perfect. Thank you so so much, Lau & Gav!

Our wedding at the The Hoste was perfect. We had a church wedding beforehand then the reception in garden room and it was exactly what we wanted. Jade was an excellent wedding coordinator from the moment we started thinking about choosing this venue. We didn’t live close so Jade always made time for zoom calls and efficiently responded to any of our emails and questions. Every aspect of the day was thoughtfully planned by Jade and it all went so smoothly. The garden room was beautiful, light and spacious, we had 50 guests and Jade helped us to plan the tables exactly as we wanted them. Jade and her team organised everything behind the scene on the day and they helped the band get set up and ready without anyone even noticing. The food was fantastic, very high quality and all our friends and family commented on how good the food was. There was more than enough food, the evening food was also excellent and perked everyone up at the end of the evening. All the rooms that the guests stayed in were lovely and the breakfast was also an excellent standard.
We couldn’t have organised this wedding without Jade, nothing was a problem for her and she made the day perfect for us.

From our very first contact with the Events Planner, Jade, we felt well looked after and well-prepared for our big day.
As soon as we arrived at the venue to set up the day before the wedding, we were met with extremely helpful, courteous and considerate staff who made us feel welcome.

As anyone has ever planned a wedding would understand, there are a 101 thing which could go wrong on the day. However Jade and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our day went smoothly and that we and our guests had the best possible time.

We can honestly say that our wedding was everything we could have hoped for. We have had so many wonderful comments from our guests telling us it was one of the best weddings they had been to.

Wow! Where do I start with this amazing venue?! We recently had our wedding ceremony here as well as our wedding reception and I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! Jade has helped us organise our dream wedding… nothing was too much trouble and she always understood our vision. She was so responsive on emails and always there when we needed her.
Our day ran so smoothly and just perfect! All of our guests have commented on how great the service and food was.
We actually made a weekend of it and hosted a buffet on the Friday evening too which was also incredibly good!
The whole team are just fantastic and make you feel so welcome! We must give a special thank you to Dave the night porter too! Who looked after us later on and again nothing. Was too much trouble! We cannot wait to come back as we feel The Hoste Arms are now our lifelong friends!

We had the most amazing wedding day at The Hoste in May 2023. Jade, our wedding coordinator made sure the day ran without a hitch and it had the exact relaxed and chilled out feel we were going for. We had a 2 night stay with The Hoste and we felt completely looked after by the whole team. I honestly cannot fault a single thing. The food was amazing, and the staff were even better.. really attentive and there to help our stay run as smoothly as possible.

We had our beautiful wedding at the Hoste with 50 of our closest friends and family and it was a truly magical weekend. Our wedding planner Jade was with us from beginning to end ( literally the final songs of the night) and she made our vision come to life. The day ran smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing - for that we want to give her a MASSIVE THANK YOU! The staff were super lovely and Martin on reservations was on hand to make sure our guests were booked in for the weekend. The food was delicious - the wine flowing and we didn't want the party to end. Maybe time to plan an anniversary party! I can't recommend this venue enough :) Elisa & Ross x
