The Old Cow Shed + Helen + Simon = Dream Wedding Day!! We honestly could not have wished for a more perfect day. If you’re looking for a fun, quirky, relaxed, beautiful venue where you can decide all the vendors you use and exactly how you want the day to look, surrounded by stunning landscape and countryside, then this is the wedding venue for you!! It was the only place we looked at after finding this gem on Instagram and we instantly knew after viewing and meeting Helen + Simon that it was the perfect venue for us. Could not recommend The Old Cow Shed enough! Thank you for letting us create our perfect day and all that your hard work and kindness during our wedding weekend, we loved every second!

Laura and Craig at brooksby were amazing! The ease of organisation was second to none. So helpful and professional, they really do know what they are doing. The set up was amazing and the day ran so smoothly. The venue itself is a hidden gem. With a church on site and beautiful grounds it has everything you need. Food provided was amazing (day and evening) venues in Leicester are limited but most of our guest had never been here or heard of Brooksby before and after viewing numerous venues it was a clear winner.

We loved our wedding reception at The Stockyard! We had two very different receptions in two venues - an elegant, intimate afternoon tea in The Tavern and a larger celebration in the Banqueting Suite. Both were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble; every single person from The Stockyard was so helpful and enthusiastic. We were encouraged to explore what we would like, safe in the knowledge that they would do everything they could to make it happen. It was excellent value, especially the incredible food! All lovingly created for us. The afternoon tea was delicious and presented beautifully on traditional stands. Then there was the buffet, plentiful and visually impressive - it had so many compliments, people are still talking about it weeks later. Every single thing is the buffet was amazing!
