Situated just a few minutes from the idyllic village of Shearsby, this beautiful country retreat offers everything you could need to host your dream day. Facilities and Capacity
Shearsby Bath offers an array of beautifully appointed indoor and outdoor event spaces to host all kinds of wedding occasions. For a sophisticated indoor ceremony, look no further than the Old Spa Room. This space boasts original oak beams and wood panelling that is complemented by the French-style decor. For an outdoor ceremony, the Veil Bandstand is situated at the heart of the exquisitely landscaped gardens here. A relaxed drinks reception or cocktail hour can be held in the Botanical Garden Room, where guests can be surrounded by greenery and enjoy a sun-drenched celebration thanks to the abundance of arching windows.
For your wedding breakfast, the Fountain Marquee offers a year-round blank canvas for couples to style as they desire. The marquee provides all of the comforts of an indoor occasion while keeping events connected to the beautiful surrounding scenery. Up to 250 seated guests can be accommodated here, with easy access to the grounds where attendees can enjoy garden games, toasting marshmallows, and more. Overnight accommodation is also available on-site, in our luxury Courtyard Bridal Suite, for the couple-of-honour to complete their wedding experience.

The BEST venue!
Through the process of planning our wedding, Beth and the team were helpful, they listened to every question and suggestion and helped us understand what we needed to do.
We are so grateful for this place. It is a beautiful venue with the building and marquee but also the stunning grounds around the place. The sun sets over Shearsby Bath by the waterfall so it gives great lighting.
I could keep going with all the ways Beth helped us but the list would keep going.

A dream venue!
When we were choosing our venue, it came down to Shearsby Bath and a nearby Manor House. What tipped the scales in Shearsby’s favour was the incredible staff – so helpful, flexible, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. We opted for the luxury package, which included almost everything you could dream of: flowers, décor, cake, car, food, photographer, videographer, and more. The vendors they work with are absolutely phenomenal and made everything stress-free.
The venue itself is stunning, with different rooms that work beautifully for each part of the day. Our guests loved how the spaces flowed and we received so many compliments about the setting.
A huge part of what made our experience so special was Beth, our event coordinator. Having been an event planner myself for several years, I can honestly say she is one of the best I’ve worked with. Calm, personable, and endlessly helpful, she struck the perfect balance between offering professional guidance and respecting our own style and vision. Her communication and responsiveness were invaluable throughout the planning process, making everything smooth and stress-free. On the day itself, Beth was there to ensure everything ran flawlessly before handing over to her colleague Biba, who was equally excellent and ensured a seamless continuation.
If we had to mention one small downside, it would be the lack of on-site accommodation for guests. However, Shearsby Bath provided a great list of nearby B&Bs and hotels, which worked out perfectly.
We are so grateful to Beth and the entire Shearsby Bath team for putting so much care and attention into creating our dream wedding. It was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you for giving us the most perfect day!

We had the best day. We really cannot put into words just how wonderful it really was.
My nephew has severe allergies to most things and the staff went out of their way to go and source things that he could have so he wasn’t left out. This included the meal and even the sweet cart.
I just wish we could do it all again ❤️
We got married here during the Easter weekend 2024
It looked stunning on the day and we couldn’t fault it! Thought it was good value for money in comparison to other local places too.

The Shearsby Bath team, and the venue, are awesome. Only way I can put it.
Beth and Biba were so helpful throughout our planning process and the day itself. Everything ran smoothly and on time. Neither my bride, guests or I had any issues.
They were so helpful and made our day that much more enjoyable for us, and our guests. Their in-house catering team were amazing too. Guests have been raving on about the food for weeks. So much so, we came back for Sunday Lunch a couple of weeks later for my birthday (where Beth & Biba, once again, went above and beyond to look after us).
We've truly enjoyed our time with them as a client, and I'd like to think we've become friends.

We’re delighted to welcome Grace to the team, who has recently made the move to beautiful Leicestershire!
With 5 years of experience in event planning, Grace brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and fresh ideas to her role. She’s already busy making exciting changes behind the scenes, with a focus on creating better packages, better value for money, and an even better wedding experience for every couple who chooses to celebrate with us.
From your very first enquiry, Grace will be there to guide you through the planning process, answer your questions, bring your ideas to life and make sure you feel completely supported every step of the way. And when your special day arrives, she’ll be right by your side to help everything run smoothly, so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
She’s the sort of person who will remember every little detail of your day, from your must-have moments to those special surprises, but remembering to renew her car insurance or where she’s put her tablet – is a completely different story!
If Grace ever seems to have disappeared from the building, there’s a good chance you’ll find her taking a well-earned breather and paying a visit to the cows in the next field. 🐄

Meet Barry - Our General Manager 🍸📸
New for 2026, we’re welcoming Gary to the team… although with another Gary already on board, things were bound to get confusing!
So, he’s now known as Barry, Gary 2.0, or pretty much anything else you fancy calling him - he’ll answer to it all!
With 12 years of experience running venues, Barry has plenty of knowledge under his belt and is now here to run the show, keep everything ticking along and oversee most of what you’ll see happening around the venue.
Got a question about beverages? Barry’s your man. And if you fancy a taste, he can make a seriously good cocktail!
Barry will be around throughout your planning journey but, most importantly, will be making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment.
He’s extremely passionate about the venue and equally passionate about photography. So, if you’re lucky, Barry might quietly capture a few beautiful moments of your day from our point of view - sometimes the best memories are the ones you didn’t even know were being captured. ❤️📸
Meet Gary - Owner & Keeper of the Family Legacy 🏡
This family business began over 25 years ago, lovingly built and beautifully run by Gary’s parents, Cheryl and Rocky, who made sure the venue became known for its excitement, character and unforgettable atmosphere.
Gary has been involved with the business from the very beginning, growing up around the venue and watching it evolve over the years. In 2025, he officially took over the reins, bringing with him a fresh vision for the future.
His mission is simple: to expand what we offer, champion flexibility and value, and fill the venue with fresh, exciting ideas for our guests - all while keeping the personality that makes the venue what it is.
These days, Gary mostly works behind the scenes, managing the operational side of the business and keeping everything flowing. He has complete trust in his brilliant team to look after the day-to-day running of the venue, allowing him to focus on the bigger picture and what’s next.
You will, of course, spot Gary around the venue when he can tear himself away from his slightly obsessive love of bird-watching. If you happen to spot a green woodpecker around the grounds, he absolutely wants to know about it! 🐦
There is, however, one subject we strongly recommend avoiding…
Frogs. 🐸
Gary has a slight phobia. And by slight, we mean mentioning one may well get you banned from the venue.
So, birds = very welcome.
Frogs = absolutely not.
