Nestled on the picturesque shores of Rutland Water Nature Reserve, this idyllic gem is ideal for couples seeking a timeless wedding venue in the heart of the East Midlands. A stunning Victorian manor house with an illustrious history, it is surrounded by endless acres of beautiful countryside. The indoor facilities are second to none, while the grounds provide countless photographic opportunities. Romance and refinement await you at this one-of-a-kind property.
Facilities and Capacity
You are invited to enjoy every stage of your celebration at Rutland Hall Hotel, from your ceremony to your reception. Up to 500 of your friends and relatives can join you to celebrate your nuptials here. Ceremonies can take place underneath our wedding pagoda with a backdrop of the beautiful Rutland Water. After posing for photographs in the manicured gardens, you can head into the Lakeview Suite or from January 2024 our brand new Pavilion Suite to dine and dance the night away. Our Blossoms Restaurant and Bar is the perfect place to socialise with your guests the night before or over breakfast the following day. As well as its wonderful event facilities, the hotel is home to a wide range of luxurious guest rooms.

The Rutland Hall Hotel team is committed to taking the stress off your big day. They will be on hand throughout to provide expert support and guidance. You can choose from a series of eye-catching packages, all of which include planning services, a three-course wedding breakfast, a complimentary stay for the newlyweds, and much more. Alternatively, you are welcome to work with the team to develop your own bespoke package. In addition, you will be given an excellent choice of menus which can be adapted to your preferences.

Rutland Hall was so magical. The staff were incredible and just made our day super special. It was faultless.
The wedding breakfast was on another level. Everybody loved it.
Emmie guided us through the whole planning process and was such a superstar. Emmie's knowledge and support was invaluable and was always on hand to help in any way she could.
Truly our day was incredible. having our ceremony outside looking over the beautiful Rutland Water. An amazing setting. Rutland Hall is such a beautiful place and will forever be in our hearts.
So much emotion and joy. We cannot thank the whole team at Rutland Hall enough.
Oh and the Windsor Suite that we stayed in was on another level. All the rooms are fantastic but we felt somewhat Royal in our suite.
You could not find a better place to have your special day.

The layout worked brilliantly for our celebration, giving us plenty of room for guests to mingle, relax, and enjoy the day at their own pace. Every corner of the venue offered something special, whether it was the gorgeous ceremony setting, the picture-perfect spots for photos, or the atmosphere that made the whole day feel magical.
In the lead-up to the wedding, communication was smooth and reassuring, and everything was prepared exactly as promised. Even without staff on-site on the day, the venue was set up perfectly and ready for us to step straight into our celebration without any stress or complications.
Our guests were full of compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how memorable the setting felt. It truly played a huge part in making our wedding day unforgettable, and we’re so grateful to have chosen such a wonderful place to begin this new chapter of our lives.
Autumn Wedding
Our November 2025 wedding was absolutely stunning. The staff looked after our guests beautifully, the food was impeccable and the views and vibes were 10/10. Andrea made sure everything went perfectly to plan on the big day.
We cannot recommend Rutland Hall enough and we cannot wait to come back for our anniversary (or sooner!).

Beautiful Autumn Wedding Reception
Firstly, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained with stunning views overlooking Rutland water.
Secondly the staff were so attentive and lovely and couldn't have done enough for us. Big thank you especially to Molly, Matt, Cameron and Megan for helping our day go so smoothly. We really enjoyed the food and our vegan guests even said it was the best wedding food they've ever had and wanted to recreate the pudding.
Thirdly, the room and tables were decorated beautifully and the room looked perfect.
All in all, we couldn't have asked for more and we had the best evening we could have hoped for.
