From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, Normanton Park Hotel exceeded all expectations. The entire process was absolutely seamless thanks to the incredible Wayne, the hotel manager, who is truly exceptional at what he does. You can tell instantly that he’s been in the industry for years—his calm, professional presence and ability to keep everything under control made us feel completely at ease from start to finish.

Wayne genuinely goes the extra mile, not only in the lead-up to the big day but especially on the day itself. As the couple getting married, it’s hard to describe how reassuring it is to know you’re in such capable hands. Wayne and his whole team were warm, accommodating, and unbelievably attentive—not just to us, but to every one of our guests.

Our niece and her husband, who run a major corporate events company (organising events at Cheltenham, Henley Regatta, and more), were seriously impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the entire team across the wedding day and the surrounding days. That says it all!

We received endless compliments from guests about the venue itself—it’s stunning. So many made a mini-break out of our wedding, and it’s easy to see why. The setting is breathtaking, with beautiful, varied spaces: the outdoor terrace with views over the lake, the pergola, the conservatory, the indoor and outdoor bars, and the dance floor.

The food on the wedding day was also outstanding. Everything was delicious, perfectly portioned, served all together; so many guests commented on how much they loved it.

If we were to do it all over again, we would choose Normanton Park Hotel every single time. It was the best day of our lives, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We can’t thank Wayne and the team enough and would recommend Normanton Park Hotel without hesitation to any couples looking for the perfect wedding venue.

We had our wedding reception at the hotel in July and it was just perfect. We loved the location and the stunning views. Food was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to Wayne for seamless wedding coordination and support with all the planning! Our day was perfect.

When deciding on a venue for our wedding reception there was no questioning were to go. Normanton Park Hotel has the most beautiful setting and attentive staff.
From the very beginning staff were available to help with the planning, answer any questions we had and suggest ideas.
As most of our family were travelling a long distance to get here they stayed the night before the wedding as well as the wedding night. Housekeeping staff made sure their rooms were homely and other staff were very welcoming.
On the day of our wedding we returned from the church to be greeted at the car by the wedding coordinator with our arrival drinks (a nice touch!).
The waiting and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for you and always had a smile on their face.
After the wedding breakfast the room was quickly cleared and cleaned ready for our evening reception and extra guests.
Throughout the day the wedding coordinator was there to organise food, drink, and even our dj. We didn’t have to do a thing and felt confident that the wedding coordinator had everything in hand.
We had a fantastic day and all our wedding guests commented on how stunning the view was.
