  • The Newton Suite is well-suited to smaller weddings, offering a romantic atmosphere for up to 65 daytime guests and 120 evening guests.

Wedding at the Olde Barn

From the moment we considered the Olde barn for our wedding, we knew we had made the right choice. As the bride, I had a very clear vision of the atmosphere I wanted to create and Sharon and Lydia were both very considerate of my wishes. Throughout the process I found the team were incredibly helpful, supportive and professional.
The Olde barn is great value for money and the food is first class, as is the service and we felt it was very good value for money.
We would not hesitate in recommending the Olde barn for a wedding.

Brilliant!!

the olde barn hotel was an absolutely lovely venue to have a wedding at. Me and my now husband got married there in April and the venue and staff where absolutely wonderful nothing was too much and they kept us at ease all day and made our day run smoothly. they where truly wonderful and we would definitely recommend them to anyone

Best service we could possibly ask for!

So happy we choose the olde barn hotel for our wedding. With everything going wrong (covid and lockdown) the staff have been 100% with us letting us decided what we wanted to do and then accommodating to our every need. We split our wedding to two different dates and again especially Claire and Charlie were making sure everything we needed was there for us. I cant wait to come back in July to finish of our wedding reception and me and my husband have said we will always come back every year after that. Thank you again for everything!

Just the perfect day

Loved The Olde Barn for our wedding the moment I saw it. Perfect spot, food was complimented on by our guests, the wedding coordinator was outstanding and never tired of my million questions. We were looked after from start to finish. Just the perfect day.

A fabulous venue

I thoroughly recommend the Olde Barn hotel. They have 2 reception rooms available and the hotel has recently been modernised. It has easy access to Newark and Grantham but we actually got married in Southwell. The food was extremelly good quality and all our guests were very impressed. The hotel is relaxed but stylish and they have a flexible, friendly approach. If you want an organisation that listens to you and you like a good party have your reception at the Olde Barn Hotel.

A truly fairy tale day

The staff were excellent, the food was amazing, the ceremony was lovely and the disco was grooovy. I couldn't have wished for a better day, I really couldn't. The only sad thing was that it went so quickly, I could do it all over again! The location is great for photos and all your guests can stay there at discounted rate. The party went on till long into the morning and continued at breakfast. If you want a country hotel, with pleasant surroundings and extremely helpful staff then have your wedding at the old barn.
