The Barn Hotel & Spa is a picturesque wedding venue located in Marston, Lincolnshire. Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, this charming and elegant setting is ideal for couples seeking a stylish and romantic location to celebrate their special day. Facilities and Capacity

The venue features two beautiful suites, perfect for both large and intimate celebrations:

  • The Allington Suite is a spacious and versatile setting, complete with its own bar, reception space, and a landscaped patio with outdoor seating - ideal for a summer celebration. It can accommodate up to 130 day time guests and 200 evening guests.
  • The Newton Suite is well-suited to smaller weddings, offering a romantic atmosphere for up to 65 daytime guests and 120 evening guests.

We also have our Marston Suite where you can get ready and enjoy a Continental Breakfast with your family and friends before the ceremony.

Whether you’re envisioning a grand wedding or a more personal intimate, The Barn Hotel & Spa has the perfect space to suit your needs.

Wedding at the Olde Barn

From the moment we considered the Olde barn for our wedding, we knew we had made the right choice. As the bride, I had a very clear vision of the atmosphere I wanted to create and Sharon and Lydia were both very considerate of my wishes. Throughout the process I found the team were incredibly helpful, supportive and professional.
The Olde barn is great value for money and the food is first class, as is the service and we felt it was very good value for money.
We would not hesitate in recommending the Olde barn for a wedding.

Magical Day at The Barn Hotel

We had an amazing day, and it was truly the best day of our lives. Although absolutely roasting hot, everything was perfect.
This is thanks to the hotel and the amazing staff who were working the day of our wedding. They were so attentive and helpful throughout the day! Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could have, and I believe this is down to everyone's patience on the day. Everyone who attended our wedding commented on how good the food was and how beautiful the wedding was. All the staff at the hotel, the day before the wedding, whilst we were setting up, all the way through the day and the day after, were very helpful towards us. Although there were occasional hiccups, the staff handled these with the utmost professionalism. They continuously checked in with myself and my husband throughout the day to make sure we were happy. When we entered the room for the meal after the staff had set up, we were blown away. It looked exactly how we had pictured it, and again, we couldn't be happier with how the entire day went. From start to finish, it was amazing. For the price we are blown away and certainly would recommended the Barn Hotel for weddings, you really can’t go wrong!

Sullivans wedding

We got married here on 21st may 2026 we wanted somewhere that the bridal party could stay the night before and somewhere that was all in one place and we couldn’t off chose any better. The whole day was perfect from start too finish. The staff especially Lydia was amazing and always happy too help and answer any questions from the very beginning and make sure everything was organised. Jenna on the day was fantastic making sure everything ran smoothly and perfect and kept us all calm, our guests commented on how smooth the day ran and how lovely the hotel was. Nothing was too much for them. We would definitely recommend anyone looking too get married too book here.

Brilliant!!

the olde barn hotel was an absolutely lovely venue to have a wedding at. Me and my now husband got married there in April and the venue and staff where absolutely wonderful nothing was too much and they kept us at ease all day and made our day run smoothly. they where truly wonderful and we would definitely recommend them to anyone

Best service we could possibly ask for!

So happy we choose the olde barn hotel for our wedding. With everything going wrong (covid and lockdown) the staff have been 100% with us letting us decided what we wanted to do and then accommodating to our every need. We split our wedding to two different dates and again especially Claire and Charlie were making sure everything we needed was there for us. I cant wait to come back in July to finish of our wedding reception and me and my husband have said we will always come back every year after that. Thank you again for everything!

Just the perfect day

Loved The Olde Barn for our wedding the moment I saw it. Perfect spot, food was complimented on by our guests, the wedding coordinator was outstanding and never tired of my million questions. We were looked after from start to finish. Just the perfect day.

A fabulous venue

I thoroughly recommend the Olde Barn hotel. They have 2 reception rooms available and the hotel has recently been modernised. It has easy access to Newark and Grantham but we actually got married in Southwell. The food was extremelly good quality and all our guests were very impressed. The hotel is relaxed but stylish and they have a flexible, friendly approach. If you want an organisation that listens to you and you like a good party have your reception at the Olde Barn Hotel.

A truly fairy tale day

The staff were excellent, the food was amazing, the ceremony was lovely and the disco was grooovy. I couldn't have wished for a better day, I really couldn't. The only sad thing was that it went so quickly, I could do it all over again! The location is great for photos and all your guests can stay there at discounted rate. The party went on till long into the morning and continued at breakfast. If you want a country hotel, with pleasant surroundings and extremely helpful staff then have your wedding at the old barn.
