In the expertly refurbished interiors, the Cromwell Suite is wonderfully suited for micro weddings of up to 65. Upstairs, the larger Riverhead Suite is ideal for more elaborate events with a maximum capacity of 150 guests. At the end of the evening, the happy couple can enjoy a complimentary stay in a spacious suite*. Family and friends can also experience the lavish comforts and stylish interiors in a choice of 63 rooms available at a discounted price.

Fabulous Wedding Day!

From the day we first visited Donnington Manor as a potential wedding venue, we were blown away by the way Rebecca and her took took the time to listen and cater for all our needs. Our wedding day was fabulous. Everything we dreamed of. The food was excellent, the hotel chef Amro and his team did a sterling job, accommodating the needs of a vegan bride and groom. The rooms were clean and very comfortable as we had several family members staying over. Rebecca was amazing in helping with everything (even offering to iron my daughters dress on the day!) in the run up and throughout the whole day, from breakfast through to our first dance. Amazing experience from start to end

My partner and I got married here on 4th September 2020. We had to postpone our wedding from May 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the hotel were extremely accommodating and helpful about moving our date.

We were looked after by Lauren who did an amazing job of giving us our perfect wedding day. She was able to recommend a photographer and someone to make the cake. They were both first class. The wedding flowers were included in the hotel package price, and they were absolutely beautiful.

Lauren has excellent communication skills and was in touch throughout the planning process. She really helped us through the ongoing uncertainty of the Covid-19 restrictions leading up to the big day.

Lauren was also on hand throughout the day to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

Our guests commented that they felt very safe with the Covid secure measures that the hotel had in place.

We were able to have a tasting session at the hotel to finalise the menu. We had a lovely three course sit-down meal after the ceremony. All of our guests commented on the quality of the food.

We stayed overnight on the night of our wedding. We stayed in an executive room which was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed.

The hotel has very pretty grounds, which are excellent for photographs.

I would have no hesitation about recommending Donnington Manor for your special day. We had an amazing wedding which we will remember with fond memories for the rest of our lives.

the rooms looked breathe taking...

we just got married here sat 23rd june, we had a great wedding day.donnington mannor was great,i was a fussy detailed bride who wanted wow looking rooms, and donnington create that and did great as we had all the cermony,sit down meal and reception in same room,so they had to do quick change overs,they did it brilliant. the rooms looked breathe taking.i was soooo happy.our day was everything we dreamed of.thank you

We loved Donnington Manor

Dear Sarah

As you can see from this email I am back at work and everything has returned to normal but I cannot forget what a wonderful time Keith and I had last week and how delighted we were with the arrangements for the wedding.

I wanted to write and thank you for everything you did and to compliment the smooth running of the day. Besides yourself all the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our day and kept us informed of everything that was happening without any dramas or upsets.

We loved Donnington Manor and I am sure we will return in due course but meanwhile again, can I thank you for all the work you put in to making our day.

Hello Sarah, I would just like to thank you and the staff who made our daughters wedding day on Friday such a success.

Please thank everyone who was involved with us we are very appreciative of the hard work they did to make it so special, she wanted a relaxed day and you gave it to her.

The guests I have spoken to since Friday have all said what a lovely time they had, a very enjoyable day. You must thank the chef and staff for the meal they gave us - 3 of my girlfriends would like the bread recipe please -

Amazing!

Hi Sarah,

Thank you very much indeed.

We and our guests felt very welcomed! It was just like receiving the guests at home! Everyone from the staff was helpful, friendly and amazing!!!!!! I haven't had that before in any of the countries/restaurants/hotels I was in.

We shall definitely recommend the location to our friends and use it ourselves for future occasions!

I am soooo sorry it has taken me so long to contact you! Things have been manic and are just starting to settle down again!

John and I would like to thank you and all the staff at Donnington Manor Hotel for helping to give us the most amazing, memorable wedding day ever! (12/08/11) Everything went better than we'd hoped and we had a truely fantastic time!

I have attached a few photo's as you asked for you to use on the website, I hope they are useful.

Hope everything is well with you. John and I are now expecting our first baby so life couldn't get much better!

Perfect Wedding Day!

We held our Wedding reception here in August 2011 in the up stairs function room, and were extremley pleased with the service, staff, value for money and venue as a whole.
Sarah was always on hand to answer any questions that we had and was great when it came to recommending the Dj, Flowerist and Photographer, thank you again for all your help!
Anish was equally as helpfull on our big itself, and he and his team really did make our day that extra bit special and go without any hitches even though we did arrive over a hour after we were meant to. Thank you again to you Anish and all the staff for everything you did.
The honeymoon suit that we had the night of the wedding and my Husband and two young Daughter stayed in the night before the wedding was amazing to say the least, It was clean, comfortable and very well furnished.
The wedding breakfast was wonderful, hot and everyone said that they enjoyed the whole meal which was a hugh relief to us :) The evening buffet was equally as good and there was so much of it that our guests ending up taking plates of it back to their rooms!
Breakfast the next morning was also good, and the staff were helpful then too.
We would recommend this hotel for other couple thinking of having there wedding receptions here. It is truely a beautiful venue and the old part of the building and garden really did make a back drop for our photos.
Would stay here time and time again, lovely hotel with helpful staff and management

Wedding Day to Remember

We got married and had our reception at Donnington Manor on 27th August 2011 and can't praise the Hotel enough.

After looking around for Wedding venues, I was disappointed with many venues lack of enthusiasm and knowledge towards us and their venues, which didn't inspire confidence. Until we meet Ashish the deputy manager of Donnington Manor a thoroughly charming and welcoming chap who made us instantly feel at home. I knew this was where I wanted to get married. Our wedding planner Sarah was always on hand to answer any queries we had in the build up to our perfect day.

In fact all staff were always pleasant, welcoming and did everything we could have asked. We had a few last minute guests cancel and managed to get friends step in who were vegetarian. Having not had the chance to tell Donnington about this we were worried they would not be able to accomodate the last minute changes. But they were fantastic and managed to serve each guest with the same meal with very little warning, which we appreciated greatly.

Their resident DJ, was spot on with the music. After a meeting appeared to have understood exactly what we were looking for and had everyone up on the dance floor all night.

The food was good, rooms were clean and tidy and it was all for a very reasonable price.

All our family and friends have commented what a great day it was and what a picturesque venue. I would highly recommend to anyone considering choosing this as their wedding venue.

My wife and I had the best day of our lives on our perfect wedding day and Donnington Manor played a large part in that. I can't thank them enough.

Hi Sarah

So, we are back from honeymoon, back to work, and back down to earth!!

We wanted to send you a message of thanks for the fantastic wedding the Donnington Manor provided for us. We had an absolutely amazing day, even better than we expected. The way Anoop and the team looked after us on the day was outstanding, I was taken aback actually, and so was Gordon. Everything was organised for us, lots of unexpected extra touches and the whole day was geared to making sure we had whatever we wanted. We didn’t have to think about any of the organisation ourselves. The room looked beautiful after all 3 changes it went through, and your suppliers did a great job, DJ included. Oh and the food was lovely! I think seamless would be a good description of how the day went.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your venue to anyone. It is a wonderful place to get married, with wonderful staff and service and the day was so special for us and our guests. Everyone tells us they had a lovely time and so did we. A very special day.

We’d like to especially thank you personally for all your help – you have been brilliant and made things so easy and happy for us.

My daughters Wedding Sat 16th April 2011

Dear Mr Cotman

I thought I would write to congratulate your staff on making my daughter’s wedding last Saturday a very happy and memorable day. Sarah has been very patient and helpful and we really are most grateful to her.

All the staff were very helpful and the room looked wonderful. Everything ran smoothly and on time, which I know was quite difficult as we held the wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception in the same room. Anoop and his staff did a wonderful job and I hope you will pass on our thanks. The DJ was also very good, and everyone had a great time.

The food was excellent, and our compliments to the chef and his team. Unfortunately I didn’t eat much from the evening buffet as I was too full from the wonderful dinner, but I’m told it was very good!

I would have no hesitation in recommending your hotel to anyone looking for a wedding venue and we really are very grateful to you all for making Nicky and Darryl’s wedding day such a happy one. Please pass on our thanks to all concerned.

Fabulous Food & Venue
