The Resort has been helping couples create beautiful, magical memories for over 50 years. It's surrounded by stunning English countryside scenery with lakes, streams, and woodlands, creating picture-perfect moments for your special day. Set within 300 acres of beautiful, rolling countryside, the hotel overlooks a private lake that forms the perfect backdrop to your special day.
Facilities and Capacity
Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa has the facilities to cater for every kind of celebration, from a grand gathering to an intimate festival-style bash. It offers a large and spectacular banqueting suite, an intimate function room at the country lodges, and seasonal luxurious giant Tipis set within the grounds and lakes. All event spaces enjoy natural daylight and private terraces, whilst the tipi offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from a beautifully landscaped green. The hotel holds a wedding license, but couples can also make it official outdoors under a wooden pergola set within the stunning countryside. The four-star hotel has 80 contemporary bedrooms, as well as 10 luxurious countryside apartments, so your guests don't need to worry about travelling home.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Victoria, the wedding coordinator at Stoke by Nayland, and we can't recommend her highly enough. From the moment we booked our wedding in November 2023, Victoria was an invaluable part of our journey. Her service was nothing short of outstanding—she listened to all of our ideas and ensured every detail was executed perfectly, making our vision come to life in a way we could never have imagined.
On our wedding day, Victoria’s presence was incredibly reassuring. She had a calm, professional, and incredibly kind manner, which was especially helpful in keeping my very emotional husband-to-be calm and grounded. The lead up to the wedding was second to none, asking all the questions we hadn’t thought of and really putting us both at ease knowing someone had our backs with the planning
On the day Victoria and all of the staff working on the day were absolutely brilliant, we never felt rushed or pulled from pillar to post and were mostly left to enjoy the day, but just as you start feeling the nerve and/or feeling over whelmed Victoria or a member of staff were always there to check we were ok or needed anything like they could sense it
