The elegant and romantic setting of Hopetoun House, near Edinburgh is the perfect wedding venue for a stylish celebration with every detail being expertly organised by our Wedding Manager and Event Designers at Heritage Portfolio, our exclusive catering partner.

Visiting Hopetoun really is the best way to appreciate the scale and splendour of this Stately Home and why it is the perfect setting for your wedding day. Each Hopetoun wedding is unique and tailored to your exact requirements. At every stage of arranging your day, our Wedding Manager and Award Winning Event Caterers, Heritage Portfolio, are on hand to provide professional and friendly advice about all aspects of your wedding to ensure that it is simply perfect.

Hopetoun can accomodate wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 200 guests. Smaller, more intimate garthering can can arranged in the main house.

There is no accomodation at Hopetoun, however there is a range of accomodation nearby.

Professional, yet so very personal!

We don’t even know where to start in being able to thank the whole team at Hopetoun House in being a part of our most amazing wedding on Saturday! From the very first time we visited and were wowed driving up to the house, our whole experience of the venue and the people has been first class!!

Working with Clare, Angela, Donald, Piers and the Hopetoun and Heritage teams has been professional, yet so very personal and we can not thank you all enough! Everything on our most special day ran like clockwork and the teams worked so hard to make sure ourselves and all of our guests had the best day ever!

Hopetoun House as our wedding venue brought history, beauty, and the wow factor all together and combining these with the impeccable staff and service, gave us a wedding day that neither ourselves or our guests will ever forget!

The ballroom was beautiful!

Thank you so very much for the absolutely perfect day we had on August 11th at Shona and Sean’s wedding. The whole day went seamlessly and if there were hiccups, we were blissfully unaware of them as we enjoyed our day. Hopetoun looked amazing and your attention to detail was second to none. The ballroom was beautiful and the tables and flowers certainly had the wow factor. Clare, you did a wonderful job and were a calming and capable presence on the day. Nothing was too much trouble for you and you ensured that we had the most magical day. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hopetoun as a wonderful wedding venue and you, as a wedding organiser.

Everything was quite simply.... perfect.

Our daughter chose Hopetoun House as her wedding venue and what fabulous decision that proved to be! From the very first visit until the big day itself, Clare and her Events team, together with Michael and his catering team from Heritage Portfolio were all incomparable. Faultless, preparation and seamless, unflappable service throughout the day. Everything was quite simply.... perfect. Thank you , thank you, thank you!
