Our Wedding Day at Carbis Bay - 10.10.26
Firstly I would like to start this by giving our immense gratitude to every member of the team at Carbis Bay, especially the events team, Abi, Phoebe and Sofia have been exceptional in allowing us to feel wonderful, relaxed and taken care of on our wedding day.
We had our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception at the Beach/Wedding Hut and what an amazing experience this was, the scenery is to die for, the decor is beautiful and the general aesthetic of the entire estate is of superior class.
We had the Gannet Inn and the bridal suite for the night before the wedding and the night of, I’d recommend for any soon to be newlyweds, especially with how looked after you’ll be by the team.
The events team looked after us and our guests superbly, we were fully supported, kept in the know and respected with every decision of our day.
I would like to also take this opportunity to thank the pastry team; our vendor for our wedding cake and dessert table fell through last minute, with the pastry team about to go home, they were able to stay and baked us a wedding cake that looked beautiful, tasted delicious and was completely perfect. I cannot express how thankful we are for such wonderful people to have taken care of us.
This has been the happiest day of our life together, made all that happier because of every member of the Carbis Bay team who dedicated themselves to us.
I would get married at Carbis Bay again and again. Truly so so grateful and happy to have called this my wedding dream made into reality.

Our Carbis Wedding 2026
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Sofia, Pheobe, Abi & Ria for giving us the most incredible wedding day!
From the very first enquiry to going through all the booking, organising & decision making you were second to none in making us feel at total ease.
On our wedding day, from start to finish it was just the most perfect day! You went above and beyond looking after us & our guests. We had our ceremony on the beach, the weather was perfect & the set up was just beautiful. We could not have asked for a more stunning location to get married on the beach & our meal in Walters on the Beach was so delicious!
All the small touches from the champagne in the morning, to the card & gift bag we received when we came back to the room made is all so special & thoughtful.
Thank you with all our heart for giving us our dream wedding & for all the special memories that will last forever!

Our special day
It’s been 2 months since our wedding day and we still talk about it every single day, it really was the best day of our lives!
Right from going to look around the venue and meeting the lovely ladies from the events team we just knew this was the right decision for our special day.
The communication right from the day we booked our wedding was exceptional, every question we needed to ask was promptly responded too which had such a huge part on making our wedding planning less stressful.
Throughout the entire process, Phoebe, Abi, Sofia and Ria from the events team made us feel completely at ease, every detail was handled with professionalism and genuine care that our day was going to be exactly what we had dreamed off. And it certainly was!
When it came to the day of our wedding the whole day was completely taken care off we didn’t have to think or worry about a single thing other than enjoying every moment with our guests.
We could not recommend Carbis Bay enough to anyone who is wanting to get married in Cornwall. We are so grateful we choose this venue and these ladies to take care of our day.

We booked our wedding 4 years ago and it was the first and only venue we ever went to see. As soon as we saw the venue and met the events team our decision was made and we booked the date the same day. The venue is so so special. The events team are unbelievably good at what they do and they honestly want you to have the best day. They are so warm and welcoming and we are so grateful to have had them plan our wedding with us. We can’t thank the team at Carbis Bay enough for our wedding day. It was honestly perfect and felt like a dream. Carbis Bay will always be our special place. -

Emily Sent on 13/08/2026The most magical wedding at Carbis Bay Friday 7th August 2026 ✨
We honestly couldn’t recommend Carbis Bay Estate highly enough. From the moment we started planning to the moment our wedding ended, the whole experience was absolutely incredible.
We got married on the Wedding Hut Terrace overlooking the sea and it was everything we’d dreamed of and more. The setting is simply breathtaking… white sand, turquoise sea and the most beautiful backdrop imaginable. So many of our guests told us it was one of the most stunning and memorable weddings they’d ever been to.
The events team were amazing throughout and made everything feel completely effortless on the day. They were attentive, calm, organised and genuinely seemed to care that everything was perfect for us. We were able to completely relax and enjoy every second because we knew everything was being taken care of behind the scenes.
A special mention has to go to Emma from EmilyRoseHire and the styling of the venue. Walking in and seeing everything for the first time completely blew us away. It looked even more beautiful than we’d imagined and every little detail was perfect.
The food, drinks, service, accommodation and whole atmosphere were fantastic, and having our family and friends together by the sea made it feel incredibly special.
Our wedding at Carbis Bay was genuinely one of the best days of our lives. We’d do it all over again in a heartbeat and will forever be grateful to everyone there who helped make it so magical.
Thank you for giving us memories we’ll treasure forever.

USA/UK wedding at Carbis Bay
Carbis Bay event and wedding staff were incredible. From start to finish they helped us organize a stress free wedding from the USA. We had a wedding party mix of UsA & UK guests The planning, communication to the set up and day of wedding was brilliant. Ourselves and guests were made to feel very welcome. The venue itself is pristine and absolutely stunning. We highly recommend them and will be returning for a vacation next year.Carbis Bay Hotel's reply:

Wow! Where do we even start. Our wedding truly was the best day of our lives, and it couldn't have been in a more perfect picturesque place than the idyllic Carbis Bay!
Phoebe Abi and Sofia were the dream team, they were so professional and made sure our day was everything we had dreamed of. They were kind, thoughtful and proactive! We can't thank them enough.
We got married on the decking at the wedding hut, with the stunning sea view. The sun was shining and the photos look like we were in the Caribbean!
We had a bbq for our main meal and it was unreal, there was SO much food! We didn't want to have one of those weddings where everyone left saying the food was bad and that they went home hungry... Carbis certainly made sure no one had empty tummy's! The starters alone were huge! Every penny was well spent and we wouldn't change a thing.
We wish we could do it all again, thank you so much Carbis Bay, all our guests had the best time and we will never forget the feeling of saying 'I do' at our dream destination.Carbis Bay Hotel's reply:

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Carbis Bay Hotel for our wedding.
The entire events team went above and beyond for us. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough, but when we had to postpone our wedding to the following year, they couldn’t have been more understanding, accommodating, and supportive. They made what could have been a really difficult situation feel completely manageable, and we were so grateful for their kindness and flexibility.
Throughout the whole planning process, every member of the team was genuinely invested in making our day exactly how we had imagined it. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Whether it was answering endless questions, accommodating requests, or helping with the smallest details, they always did so with a smile and made us feel like we were their priority.
Our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that created the most incredible backdrop for both our ceremony and photographs. Every part of the day ran so smoothly thanks to the amazing coordination behind the scenes, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy every moment with our family.
A huge thank you to the entire events team for making our dream wedding a reality! we will always be grateful for everything you did for us.

Wow! Best day of our lives
Our guests want us to hold anniversary parties each year.
From pre-wedding BBQ, the day itself and post-wedding (hungover) breakfast, Carbis Bay delivered a constant level of perfection.
There is no better location in the UK, the view over the Bay, the proximity to St Ives, a choice of locations to get married (and party), each detail we wanted was executed perfectly and our guests had the most incredible time which is what you want. They were treated like VIPs and the team (Ria, Sofia, Abi, Phoebe and Nicole) were a constant support.
