Ocean Venue Wedding
In October 2025 we had our wedding in the stunning Ocean Venue at the Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate.
From our initial visit through to our wedding day the events team (Ria, Sofia, Phoebe and Abi) were fantastic! They stayed in contact with us throughout all of the planning, were always quick to respond to emails and were flexible when it came to any request that we had. They even surprised us with lots of additional touches during our wedding weekend to make it even more special.
The rest of the Carbis Bay team were also amazing. A special mention to the chefs and bar staff. The food was incredible and completely exceeded our expectations. As the Father of the Bride mentioned in his speech - it was the best food he had eaten at a wedding, and the rest of the guests certainly agreed.
The professionalism of all the staff, care and attention to detail ensured that the whole weekend ran smoothly, and we are so grateful to everyone involved. Carbis Bay will forever be a special place for us and we have memories that we will forever cherish. We can't wait to return and celebrate our anniversary. -

Wedding Hut 25th Vow Renewal
WOW, WOW, WOW, renewing our vows on our 25th wedding anniversary at Carbis Bay Hotel was the best day ever. From first seeing the venue to leaving a few days after our renewal we can honestly say that the whole experience was out of this world.
Ria and the team at the hotel could not have helped more to make our day the most special day ever and even though we live over 350 miles from the venue we never once had to worry about whether everything was being catered for.
Having the Wedding Hut for the venue was the ideal setting with breath taking views and even though the beach was busy we didn’t feel our day was impacted by that and in fact we had lots of congratulations from beachgoers whilst walking along the beach. Rounding it all off by staying with the whole family in the Deluxe VIP lodge was such an amazing way to end the whole experience.
Also we can’t thank Anna at Wedding Flowers in Cornwall enough for our beautiful flowers and Natalie at Ikonik Photography for our amazing photos.

From the day we set the date for our wedding the team at Carbis Bay were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they explained everything clearly. We had regular meetings to check everything was on track and from the moment we checked in to the hotel for our wedding, to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day, everything ran like clockwork and we didn't have to think about anything, it was all taken care off.
In fact many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to. We cannot recommend the team and venue highly enough. -

We had our wedding at Carbis Bay Hotel in October 2025, and booked the Ocean view venue. We can’t fault the service, attention to detail and attentiveness of Ria and her team. The day went exactly as planned and the views at Carbis really can’t be beaten by any other U.K. venue! We highly recommend this venue and we plan on returning to Carbis every year on our anniversary to reminisce. You won’t regret booking this place!! Meg & Josh -

We can not thank the staff at Carbis Bay & The Gannet enough. Our wedding day was everything we wanted and more and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Ourselves and our guests stayed the weekend at the Gannet and everything was incredible. The food on the day from the canapes to the fish & chips at night were the best I have had and nothing was too much for them. If you’re having a smaller wedding and want something intimate then The Gannet is definitely the place to choose. We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary -

Our Wedding Day
We wholeheartedly recommend the Carbis Bay Hotel, its incredible events team and overall staff! Nothing was too much trouble and every single guest on the day commented on how smoothly the day went and how everyone was so friendly. Sofia and the events team were absolutely fantastic during our initial stays, our engagement at the hotel and the wedding day itself. Nothing was too much trouble!! -

The very best of days!
We feel most privileged to have had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding on 10th September 2025 at the unbelievably beautiful Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate.
It was truly everything we had dreamed of and more!
From start to finish, every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine warmth.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning, creating the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The food was exceptional - beautifully presented and delicious. All staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcome and cared for. Their attention to detail and friendly professionalism made the day completely stress free.
The events team Ria, Sofia, Abi and Phoebe (and of course Nicole too) are such amazing people who we hold the greatest respect for. Despite how busy they are through the wedding season, they have the ability to make you and your wedding day feel so very special.
A special mention also to the wonderful hotel pianist Mark Clapp who we booked to play for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. His elegant music added such a magical touch. He even sourced and played a piece of music during our ceremony that was previously unknown to him for which we are so grateful.
Genuinely, everything exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a more dedicated team to make our wedding day so memorable.
Thank you so much Carbis Bay for giving us an experience we will truly treasure forever!
