Over the Threshold are a premier live wedding band based in Barnstaple, Devon, in the South West of England. The band are available across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset for weddings and other events. Performing hits from Justin Timberlake, The Beatles, The Killers, Oasis, The Kinks, Stereophonics and many, many more. Over the Threshold's extensive set list of classic party anthems, coupled with the band's outstanding live show, is guaranteed to have everyone on their feet and singing along.
Services Offered
Over the Threshold can provide a variety of entertainment services for every aspect of your event. These professional musicians perform live at the wedding and even offer a free DJ playlist for the times that they are not playing. This team of entertainment professionals can adjust the size of the band and even add a female vocalist to accommodate your needs and fit any occasion. Couples can also book an afternoon acoustic set to keep their guests entertained during the drinks reception.

Brilliant live band
Over the Threshold played at our wedding in Devon at the end of August. They were simply tremendous. From the early afternoon acoustic set, to the main reception dancing sets through to the late night DJ set, the guys were fun, friendly and most importantly brilliant performers. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic wedding band!
What an amazing wedding band! Over the Threshold had people dancing all night long! Fantastic choice of songs and even slowed down our first dance song for us! You guys were amazing and we have had so many comments from guests about how good you were! Thank you so much for making our day so memorable!

Brilliant Wedding Band
What an amazing band they were brilliant, we hired Over the Threshold for our wedding at The Alverton Hotel in Cornwall. We loved every second of it, and all of our guests did too. The music choice and performance had all our guests up dancing from start to finish. We requested 3 songs to be played live one of which was our first dance and the guys done them perfectly and showed the bands wide range!
The whole process from booking right through to the big day was so smooth and the guys were so easy to deal with given we were organizing the wedding from Australia!
Over the Threshold are the perfect band for your big day, would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you so much for making our wedding evening so special!

Brilliant Wedding Band
Incredible band, great energy, got everyone on the dance floor!
We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment for our reception and everyone was so excited for the live music. Our first dance was particularly special!

Amazing band
Over The Threshold were fantastic! They had great communication throughout the lead up to our wedding.
On the day they played great music, sang 3 songs that we requested and learnt a song for our first dance.
Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible
Could not have asked for a better band! Knew exactly the right songs to play to get people on the dancefloor and keep them there. Did an amazing acoustic set for our reception and we had so many comments on how good they were! Really friendly and helpful, did everything asked of them and were amazing to work with! Would highly recommend. Just got on with everything and no issues or stresses! Thank you so much!

Brilliant wedding band
We are so happy that we booked Over the Threshold as the band for our evening reception. They are really talented, easy to communicate with and all of our guests loved their music and personalities. People were so impressed and very happy to dance all evening. We didn't want the music to end.

Highly recommend
What an amazing band, we hired Over the Threshold for our wedding at the Polurrian on the Lizard and they didn’t disappoint.
All of our guests commented on how fantastic they were, the playlists were on point and kept everyone dancing all night. The songs that were requested were perfect and really added that finishing touch to our perfect day.
They even managed to keep our superb excited extrovert in check. Thank you so much and we would highly recommend!
