We first met Nathan from Portable Putts at the South West Wedding Fair in Exeter and were immediately impressed by the setup. The concept was unique, beautifully presented, and we knew right away we wanted to book. Communication from the start was excellent—Nathan even responded to messages in the evening, which we really appreciated. He informed us of an upcoming price increase and kindly gave us the opportunity to secure the original rate by booking and paying the deposit early.

A month after booking, we received a thoughtful and unexpected surprise in the post: a beautifully engraved wooden sign with our wedding date and a golden golf ball. It was such a lovely gesture and remains proudly displayed in our home.

When Nathan transitioned the business to Shaun, the handover was seamless. Shaun took the time to work closely with us in the lead-up to the big day, discussing all the details from setup location and timing to the evening close-down plan. His professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding.

On the day itself, Shaun was an absolute superstar. The course was a huge hit with our guests—many commented on how fun and well-designed it was. My husband and I even managed to play a few rounds ourselves, which was such a nice touch. The inclusion of a leaderboard added a fun competitive edge that many of our guests really enjoyed.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Shaun and Portable Putts to anyone looking for a fun, engaging activity for their wedding or event. Although we had an adults-only wedding, the mini-golf was a fantastic addition that everyone enjoyed. It provided a perfect form of entertainment during the transitions between the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, and the evening festivities.

Nathan at Portable Putts Mini Golf was incredible. We booked our wedding only 6 months prior to getting married and contacted Nathan as we wanted Mini golf for our wedding entertainment. We got married at Haldon Belvedere (Lawrence Castle) which is quite high up in Haldon Forest so you can imagine how windy it can be up there! Nathan went above and beyond by ensuring a new course was built so that it was adequate for windy weather. The course linked amazing, we absolutely loved it and so did our guests Thank you Nathan 😊

I booked Portable Putts for our wedding at Upton Barn and it was such a great addition to our day! Even though the weather wasn't on our side for those few hours, our groomsmen and guests loved playing and we got some amazing photos!

I was a guest at my cousins wedding after having the weekend off and came across portable putts set up in the grounds of the wedding. My god what a great set up, I’m sure the adults had more fun then the kids, I personally went round the course three times and every time Nathan was so warm and welcoming, I even nearly beat his best score.

We hired Nathan to provide a different sort of entertainment at our wedding to give the guests something fun to do during the lull and evening. It went down extremely well and everyone had a go, throughout the booking process and on the day, Nathan communicated to us throughout and ran the golf brilliantly even taking photos of our guests and ending after. Highly recommended company both for the service and the fun it would bring to any event.

Fantastic entertainment for our wedding day despite some rain! Nathan organised gazebos so we could still get to play. He stayed on for a few more hours to ensure our guests would be able to use it which we are hugely grateful for.

His communication before the wedding was excellent always keeping us updated. He goes out of his way to do things he doesn’t have to do - taking pictures of guests using it as well as sending lots of photos to us. Would highly recommend with lots of good feedback from our guests, thanks Nathan.

Fantastic activity at our friends wedding for all ages with a range of putter sizes. The course created blended seamlessly with the grounds of the venue, and Nathan & co we’re on hand to give handy tips. The holes were all so different, with a wedding cake and windmill to boot!

Amazing course and props. Entertained the guests for hours and really appealed to their competitive side. Nathan and his team set the course around a maze of a garden creatively and the equipment (from the balls, putters, scorecard up to the course and gazebo) were all top notch. I would whole heartedly recommend this to set off any wedding/party.

We decided to run various lawn games at our wedding party in South Devon. Portable putts provided 9 holes. It was the most popular area all afternoon and into the evening. Easy to set up and discreetly collected once the party was in full swing. Nathan was a pleasure to deal with.

We came across Portable Putts on Facebook and contacted them straight away to book in for our wedding. Think that was about 18mths ago now 😁. Nathan was so quick at responding, giving us very clear pricing which is what you need when you're planning a wedding! Then about 4mths before the day we asked to upgrade and that was no problem. The Portable Putts team were fantastic on our day, it was super super hot. The course was set up in no time, every single guest loved it even our 16mth old daughter! Having Portable Putts there really did make our day! What an absolute giggle it was. Massive massive thank you to Nathan and Toby for suffering the heat all day being outside!
