After you’ve decided to postpone your wedding, the first thing you need to do is inform your guests. We recommend sending this urgent information out in an email so your guests are immediately up-to-date with what’s happening.
But an email (or text/WhatsApp) postponement announcement doesn’t need to be just an ugly chunk of text. After you’ve put in so much love and effort with your wedding stationery and theme, don’t you think you deserve a pretty ‘we’re changing the date’ announcement too? We do!
Hitched have teamed up with award-winning designer Junie Poonie to get you some gorgeous wedding postponement announcements that you can digitally send to your guests – completely FREE.

Junie Poonie and Hitched wanted to do all we can to make the difficult situation of postponing your wedding that little bit easier. June’s bespoke and unique designs are created in her little studio at the bottom of her garden and are some of the loveliest stationery creations around. June has won best wedding stationery and best wedding planner/stylist at the prestigious UK Wedding Awards, so this really is an amazing opportunity.
Scroll down to see the four beautiful and romantic designs she’s created. They’ll be personalised to you and you can choose between two versions of each: one for those who have a new wedding date and one for those who will be in touch shortly.
Details of how to get in touch with June are at the bottom, and again, there’s absolutely no charge – we just want to make things a little better for you right now.
Here are the four designs you can choose from:
1. Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
2. The Longer the Wait, the Sweeter the Kiss
3. Love is Patient
4. In the Middle of Our Chaos, There Was You

What To Do Next
If you’d like to receive your free digital postponement announcement, you need to email email@example.com with the information below. It’s that simple.
- Title of the design you’d like
- Both of your names
- Your new wedding date (if you don’t have a new date yet, you’ll receive the “we will be in touch” version)
- Your email and telephone number so June can email or WhatsApp your design over
Please remember that June runs a small, independent business, so she’ll get these sent to you as soon as possible. She won’t be able to alter the designs or add in the name of your venue, but this can easily go in your accompanying email.
A little note from all of us:
If you’re having to postpone your wedding, it’s going to a stressful and disappointing time. But know that your wedding day is coming, it’s just on hold for a bit. You will have your big day, full of joy and love and all your friends and family. Keep going through these strange few weeks and we’ll see you on the otherside for the celebration you deserve. Good things are on their way.
Much love from Junie Poonie and Hitched x
