On the day, you generally don’t know the team is there, but when you do they make you laugh and help to keep you relaxed. Alex really added to my morning but at the same time captured so many shots I really didn’t know were being filmed.

From start to finish, our experience with Wedding Video Essex was exceptional. Both of the videographers we had on the day were so warm, personable, and genuinely lovely that we felt completely at ease from the moment they arrived.

They blended into the day effortlessly, capturing everything so naturally that we never once felt staged or uncomfortable. So many of our guests commented on how calm and unobtrusive they were, yet somehow they didn’t miss a single important moment.

The films themselves are absolutely beautiful. Watching them back transported us straight back to the day and brought back so many emotions, including moments we hadn’t even realised were happening at the time. We honestly don’t even know where to begin with Alex and Amie — they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. From our very first meeting with Alex, he instantly put us at ease. He was so friendly, relaxed and easy to get along with that we knew straight away he was exactly the kind of person we wanted with us on our wedding day.

On the day itself, both Alex and Amie were just amazing. They captured every moment (and more!) without us even realising they were there. They blended in so naturally and were exactly what we needed — always ready for a laugh, guiding us gently to get the best shots, and making us feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the day.

After the wedding, we couldn’t wait to see the videos — and when we did, we were blown away. They captured everything so beautifully and perfectly. I’ve already watched our video several times, and every single time I fall in love with it a little bit more. We loved it so much that I’ve since asked for the documentary edit too, because I honestly just want to see everything they captured.

We truly couldn’t recommend Wedding Video Essex highly enough, and I’m already looking for any excuse to have them film something for us again! If you’re considering booking them — I promise you will not regret it.

I don’t even know where to start with this review. From my initial call and emails with Alex and his team they showed great professionalism and enthusiasm with our upcoming wedding. they was able to accommodate my short deadline (started planning in February for a wedding in July) they explained everything in great detail. We booked their full wedding package, they sent follow up emails and messages checking everything, sent over a pre wedding questionnaire which was very thorough with everything they needed.

On the day of the wedding they was amazing! They managed to get everything they needed, they blended in and it was like they wasn’t there. We received out sneak peaks 2 days after our wedding and then when we received the whole collection we had over 500+ photos, 20 minute wedding video, and each individual video from ceremony to speeches to first dance.

They was very accommodating when I asked if they could get extra videos and photos of my memorial stuff for my grandad who unfortunately passed away 3 weeks before my wedding.

They managed to get everything captured when I decided 3 days before the wedding that I was going to prank my husband with a first look with his bestfriend. They thought it was a brilliant idea and got the best photos and videos of it.

I would 1000% recommend wedding video Essex for your upcoming wedding. They are worth the money 100% and I couldn’t ask for anything better!

We decided quite late into our wedding planning to book Wedding Video Essex after meeting Alex at our wedding venue open day and got a great feeling!

Alex and Shannon were absolutely amazing! They were so good on the day, we hardly even noticed them at points and were great at directing us to capture our perfect moments. They made us feel so welcome in their company and at ease being around us all day, they felt like our guests and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Lots of our guests also told us how lovely they were.

I cannot recommend the team at wedding video Essex enough. Beginning to end they was amazing from our first meeting discussing what we would like to capture from our day to the day itself. Me and my partner are not great on camera and was worried about feeling conscious on camera and Alex and Ellis really made us feel at ease and throughout the day we barely noticed them there. We were able to just enjoy our day forgetting that we were being filmed.

Getting the highlight video so quickly was amazing, everyone commented on how great it was that they got to see it literally the next day while we was all still together.

The communication while waiting for the main videos is amazing they keep you updated the whole time and replies back to any queries straight away.

The main cinematic video was just more than I ever imagined, the way they put it all together and the music they used was breathtaking. We also upgraded and got the documentary edit which I am so pleased with. Listening to everyone’s voices and seeing all the raw footage we just loved.

We have showed all our friends and family and they have all commented on how lovely the video is and how well it’s been filmed and edited.

Alex and his team were amazing on our wedding day and really captured the essence of the love we have for eachother. We are so grateful for everything they have done for us and for making our video so magical.

The team were amazing , from the pre booking meeting to the delivery of our video. Very clear on what to expect and pricing , worked alongside our photographer so every angle of our wedding was covered, from the getting ready to the cutting of the cake.
They totally blended in and it did not feel like a a video team were present .

I've been trying to write a review for almost a week now and struggling because I'm finding it difficult to put into words just how wonderful the Wedding Video Essex team was leading up to the wedding day, on the actual day itself and the months after.

Aside from our venue and the legal bits, hiring Wedding Video Essex was hands down the best money we spent for our special day. The communication was excellent, Alex even extended one of their offers for an extra day for us which we immensely appreciate. The whole team were kind and professional. As the bride I never once felt rushed or pressured into pictures, they made it feel natural and fun. They gently guided us when we needed it and other times I forgot they were there.

My family and friends kept asking when I would get the pictures and videos back and I told them it was around 15 weeks, they all seemed impatient but I knew it would be worth the wait and my goodness it was!! The quality of the pictures are fantastic, they captured sweet and funny moments throughout the whole day, not just of the bride and groom but of family members and friends. The video isn't a boring play by playing of how the day went but an emotional editorial video that tells a story of our wedding. I was crying tears of joy watching it back.

I would and will be recommending Wedding Video Essex to anyone I know who's planning to get married. You will not be disappointed!!

Photos are great, but the video was just beautiful. Watching our guests laugh and enjoy our wedding was just as lovely as watching us have the best day ever.

Amie and Ellis were such lovely people to have around us, on our wedding day. And we would love to say a particular thank you to them. Ellis must have put Jamie at ease, because Jamie wasn't keen on wearing a microphone... But on the day, he wore it and it wasn't an issue! We are blown away by the quality of work from Wedding Video Essex . We weren't sure initially if we needed a videographer, but seeing the final result, we can’t imagine not having this footage.​The team were incredibly professional, punctual, and worked seamlessly alongside our photographer.
