Ben was an absolutely amazing photographer for our wedding day - he was super responsive leading up to the wedding and on the day was great at capturing the special moments without being in your face. He has a really natural style to shots and managed to get some lovely shots outside for us at our venue Gosfield Hall. I really didnt want lots of forced photos and we have a perfect mix of wedding posed shots vs candid shots from throughout the day!

Ben and his assistant at Lavenham Photographic were INCREDIBLE wedding photographers! We got married in November at Shuttleworth House and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Not only were they completely unobtrusive (honestly we didn’t even realise they were there half the time!) but they also made our time taking the couples’ portraits really enjoyable and it genuinely felt as though we were hanging out with friends. Ben is clearly are very passionate about his photography and this not only showed through his professionalism but also his enjoyment of the job! We got the photos back quicker than expected and have received so many compliments from guests about how good the photography was. I've already recommended him to a number of friends who have just got engaged and wouldn't hesitate for a moment recommending him to others!

Ben was the photographer at my wedding, I had never met Ben before but had found him recommended by the venue and when I looked at his portfolio loved his style of photos and editing. They looked fun and “real” - Ben was early on the day introduced himself to myself and family and all the other suppliers and got on with taking photos, he took photos I didn’t even know I’d have but am SO glad he did, the little things like venue dressing almost become unimportant on the day but to look back at it all was wonderful. I hate having my photo done by anyone but Ben gave great direction and made both myself and now husband at ease. He captured us as we are and not totally posed which I love, he edited them so fast and I have spent hours looking through them and I love them all, he captured the day and our love amazingly. I am so glad I chose him and I cannot fault his work or professionalism on the day.
We will have these photos forever to look back on and I will always treasure the work Ben created.
Worth every penny and would recommend to any couple if they need a photographer!

Highly recommend Ben at Lavenham Photographic. This is the 2nd time of working with Ben due to him doing the photography for my sisters wedding as well as mine. Ben is very easy to get on with, but also makes sure he gets photos, even all the small bits so you do not miss or forget a single bit of your day! We can't thank Ben enough for our wedding photos and are over the moon with them!

I want to thank you for everything you did for us before, during and after the wedding. Ben was very upfront from the beginning on the process and how he works so we were aware of everything prior to the wedding. Ben made it a point to find out our families names added a personal touch.

We did not feel at any point that we needed to do coordinating with Ben because he knew his way around our venue and spoke to everyone. This helped us feel more relaxed on the day and we never worried once. Everyone loved Ben and could tell how much effort he had put into being able to communicate with everyone when we had friends and family who did not speak English. He went the extra mile for everyone. This was very much appreciated by everyone.

Ben’s ability to make a single shot look effortless cannot be underestimated. All our photos are outstanding and we had a hard time choosing those that we wanted in our wedding albums. If we could, we would have added all of them (not possible). We always said that we wanted a leather album and Ben gave us that! In just a month, we had our photos and the album not long after that. The service was outstanding too!

Ben was absolutely incredible as our photographer for our wedding back in July at Gosfield Hall! The photos were even better than we could have hoped for and captured our special day so perfectly.

From our first contact with Ben, everything was so personal and comfortable—he made the effort to get to know us as a couple and knew exactly who all of the wedding party were on the day. On the day itself, we were just able to relax and enjoy the day together, never feeling awkward or rushed, with Ben sometimes being more of a fly on the wall capturing some of our truly most special moments.

Ben’s knowledge of the venue was incredible, taking us to areas we’d never even considered having photographs taken and even knowing the best time of day for each location, resulting in some amazing photos as the sun began to set. Ben even managed to turn what in reality had been a bit of a waistcoat debacle and a stressful morning for the groom into some wonderful getting ready shots with his groomsmen.

We were incredibly excited to see all of the photos and had expected them some time after our honeymoon, but not only is Ben an outstanding photographer, he is extremely efficient, resulting in a wonderful surprise delivery of the photos to our inboxes whilst still on our honeymoon! We love looking back through our photos and experiencing the whole day again, with our canvas taking pride of place in our living room!

Ben was our photographer for our wedding in July at Long Melford Church and Smeetham Hall Barn. We are so incredibly happy with the photos from our day, we can't stop looking at them! Ben was so calm and professional completely putting us at ease and getting the perfect mix of group photos and natural shots throughout the day and into the evening.

We opted for the USB package recieving the full album on a personalised wooden USB in the post as well as an online wedding album which was really good value.
