We cannot recommend The Wedding Chaps enough! We hired them to DJ our wedding in Sept 2025 and they were fantastic from start to finish. Ben, our DJ, spent so much time with us ensuring we went through every detail of the music on the day and we loved the planning booklet so much - it was great fun to complete and so detailed with questions and songs choices we hadn’t even considered. The extra details they offer, like the lights, signage and games they offer were so much fun and as a gay couple, the “bouquet” toss was such an amazing twist that was right up our street. Thank you for being an amazing team and we hope you DJ more than just weddings so we can hire Ben and the team all over again. Thank you for being another amazing part of our special day.

Having had our wedding day last month, we simply couldn't rave enough about Paul from The Wedding Chaps. The music was such a key part to our day, and therefore our choice of DJ was super important to us. Paul took the time to meet with us months before the day, gave us a really helpful booklet to focus our minds on the type of music we were looking for, and then sprinkled a load of creativity and genius ideas to create an amazing evening reception party. We had guests on the dancefloor all night long, finishing with the likes of Sweet Caroline and Daydream Believer. We honestly could not recommend The Wedding Chaps enough. We had Paul as our DJ and he was brilliant from start to finish. We had several meetings with Paul prior to the wedding where we discussed ideas and what we wanted for the day. Paul was always friendly, funny and easy to get along with, which made us feel completely at ease.

Paul was with us for the entire day, from our ceremony and through the wedding breakfast and into the evening, he really helped make the whole day so special. He provided entertainment during the meal which our guests loved and kept the energy going throughout the evening. The DJ battle was definitely one of the highlights of the night! It was so much fun and everyone joined in laughing and dancing. It was such a unique touch to our special day.

Paul’s musical knowledge and attention to detail shone through. He managed to match our energy perfectly and our guests absolutely loved dancing to nothing but bangers all night long. We can’t thank Paul enough!

We’ve just had our wedding, Saturday just gone the wedding chaps was the dj chosen for us by our venue as this is their recommended vendor, I now wish we were allowed to choose our own, I even spoke to these guys at a Kent wedding fair and they seemed so great, fun and friendly, I think I ended up with a different chap from the fun ones I already had met. Basically it was all fine up until the wedding day, friendly meeting at Iain bakers house and was given the book to choose our songs for our special day, all of which we did and sent it back a month before as requested, so wedding day arrives fast forward to the evening and Iain has set up ready for our reception, first song was played one I had put on there to start the party off, then after that it all fell flat, out of hundreds of songs I had requested in “the bible” I think around 6 songs were played, the rest chosen by Iain himself basically the music he likes and I told him guests could also request songs. Well when a family member requests a certain song she was told by Iain “ well I played superman and nobody danced” so basically didn’t want to put on any requested songs from guests, he had also told us at our meeting he has done this at a previous wedding when a certain song was also asked for, he was very rude to my family member too. We paid over £800 pound just for the dj and to have mood lighting, I was also asked what colour would I like the lighting by Iain at the start or our reception what colour I’d like and I requested blue as this was our wedding colour scheme and also my favourite colour, well this didn’t happen, it was colourful all night, so why bother wasting our time filling in the booklet and asking what we’d like if you are just going to play and do what you’d like? I feel very unhappy with how it all went and I would not recommend this paticular person to anyone planning a wedding as I feel he ruined the whole evening, me and my family are big dancers always up at any party and we would have been if my chosen songs were played. Very very disappointed.

Huge thank you to Paul for being our wedding DJ! We received loads of compliments saying the music was fantastic and the sound levels were great keeping the party up all night. We didn't give Paul an easy job having to mix in drum and bass with indie music and old school bangers but he handled it amazingly!! We had the best time on the dance floor the whole night and that is a huge credit to Paul. I highly recommend the wedding chaps for your wedding!

Ben was incredible! Before the wedding, he was very detailed to make sure we had everything we needed, and the planning book he provided actually helped us plan other parts of our wedding as well.On the night, Ben was great and played lots of our requested songs that got people up on the dance floor! We couldn't be happier and highly recommend.

The Wedding Chaps, and Andrew in particular, was our perfect DJ for our wedding. He was such a calming presence during the planning and lead-up to the wedding, he sent us a comprehensive workbook to go through with loads of prompts to get an idea of our music taste and what kind of vibes we wanted for the different parts of the day. Going through this workbook was actually one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. The workbook also had tons of ideas for different activities and games etc that he could orchestrate for the day. While we didn’t end up doing many of those games, the ones we did (like the booze toss instead of a bouquet toss) were big hits! He was also constantly in touch with us and was really professional and responsive (doubly impressive because he was in the middle of moving house and still managed to be responsive!)

On the day of the wedding, Andrew was well prepared and took the reigns straight away to play background music as guests arrived, managed our ceremony music flawlessly, and set the vibes perfectly for our cocktail hour and dinner. It was great that he managed all of that and we didn’t have to think about it at all. He allowed us just to enjoy our wedding without stress

Then for the evening party, he rose to the challenge of playing music that would appeal to different age ranges as well as different geographical backgrounds— about half our guests were from the US and the other half from the UK. There were definitely some songs that were more popular with one country than then other, but Andrew was able to keep the dance floor busy throughout the night and respond to the dancers on what kept the energy high.
We had previously discussed with Andrew what the last few songs of the night should be which was great because we were able to get everyone on the dance floor for the end of the night. The last few songs of the night was one of the highlights of the whole day because it just felt like the perfect end to the night with such high energy. And ahead of the very final song (which was Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan), Andrew pulled out two pink cowboy hats for me and my husband, which was a surprise to us, but just helped again bring the energy up to a peak as all our friends and family sung and danced along, taking pictures and videos of us in our matching hats singing to one of our favorite songs

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ at our wedding and The Wedding Chaps deserve every award they have won. From our very first conversation, Paul was warm, professional and organised. He ensure that the day was tailored to us and had such great attention to detail. In the lead up to the day, we had a couple of conversations and Paul was always available to answer any questions we had.
On the day, he was with us from the ceremony through to the dancing and his choice of music was perfect for each part of the day. He judged the room perfectly, keeping the dance floor packed all night with a brilliant mix of songs to appeal to all generations. I’ve been a to a few weddings as a guest and can honestly say, no other wedding has had as packed a dance floor as ours all night to the very last song.
The Tomfoolery box was incredible with such a fun mix of props which everyone loved - the hats were a huge success!! He was also happy to accommodate any requests without losing the flow of the evening. Paul did such a great job with announcements and helped everything run smoothly - he’s very good at getting the guests hyped up and bringing the energy!
So many of our guests commented on how excellent he was. We would highly recommend The Wedding Chaps, and particularly Paul and would love to be at one of his events again.

From the moment the evening celebrations started, Paul did a fantastic job as our DJ, keeping the atmosphere lively and the dance floor busy. The music was spot on, and our guests had an amazing time throughout the night.

One of the standout features was the Selfie Wizard. It was a huge hit with our guests, and everyone got involved. Looking back through the photos after the wedding has been brilliant – they captured so many funny moments, genuine reactions, and memories that we might otherwise have missed. It really added something special to the evening.

The Tom Foolery Box was another fantastic addition and proved incredibly popular with our guests. It created plenty of laughs and helped make the evening even more memorable.

We had originally considered booking a live band, but we are so glad we decided to go with The Wedding Chaps instead. The combination of great music, interactive entertainment, and unforgettable memories made for the perfect evening reception.
