We cannot recommend The Wedding Chaps enough! We hired them to DJ our wedding in Sept 2025 and they were fantastic from start to finish. Ben, our DJ, spent so much time with us ensuring we went through every detail of the music on the day and we loved the planning booklet so much - it was great fun to complete and so detailed with questions and songs choices we hadn’t even considered. The extra details they offer, like the lights, signage and games they offer were so much fun and as a gay couple, the “bouquet” toss was such an amazing twist that was right up our street. Thank you for being an amazing team and we hope you DJ more than just weddings so we can hire Ben and the team all over again. Thank you for being another amazing part of our special day. -

Paul was everything we wanted and more for our wedding DJ. On the night the dancefloor was never empty, playing so many of our favourite songs at just the right moment. He knew exactly how to get all our guests involved, both young and old, and all the mixes were seamless.
Our meetings with Paul in the run up to the wedding were excellent, he covered all bases and each time we met, his enthusiasm and energy was totally infectious. We completely trusted Paul to create the kind of party we were hoping for and he went over and above. The Wedding Chaps booklet was incredibly comprehensive and got us thinking about all sorts of ideas we hadn't even considered.
We cannot recommend Paul enough, he was exceptional, not only on the night but through the whole run up to our big day.

James Sent on 27/10/2025Couldn't ask for better - Harry at Winters Barns
We had a fantastic time with Harry at Winters Barns recently. He was the DJ for our wedding and we couldn't have asked for better! He had people on the dance floor all through the night and we had so many people stick around for our "Survivors Photo" at midnight! Harry managed to take our own recommended list and mix it with other songs to keep everyone entertained throughout the evening! He deserves far more than 5 stars! -

Best disco ever - thanks Harry!
You’re in safe hands with Harry. He knows exactly how to make your evening disco a blast. He took the time to get to know us and get what sort of music we liked and it worked a storm on the night. Many people said they’ve never known so many people on the dance floor at a wedding and that was down to Harry.
Excellent little extra ideas such as the bottle toss, the DJ battle and the survivors’ photo at the end are great touches. People loved the DJ battle and it really got the crowd going. The floor was packed when we ended, it was just a shame it had to be early due the Canterbury laws! But that did not spoil a great night. If ever I needed a DJ again I would always go for Harry. Thank you for ensuring our special day continued into the evening! Best day ever. -

We were given a personal recommendation prior to our wedding to speak to the Wedding Chaps about being our DJ for the evening. We had initial contact with Harry who then sent us out their excellent brochure and guide to help us shape the night and for them to understand our needs. Harry also met us before the day to discuss further. His execution on the night was simply flawless, playing great music, encouraging people to dance, assisting with some of the formalities and for this we will be forever grateful for his part in our wedding. We had the pleasure of having Harry from The Wedding Chaps be Master of Ceremonies at our wedding at Hayne House. Harry was fantastic, our guests loved him and he really helped the day flow perfectly, including help guide us throughout the day when time was going too quick!
Having Harry as MOC was so important to us and he played a huge part in our day. From perfecting the aisle songs, a DJ battle, guiding guests through the day and the receiving line, Harry was just brilliant. We even had a ‘guess the first dance song’ card put on the table for the wedding breakfast for each guest & there were so many other options from The Wedding Chaps to personalise your day. The entertainment is endless and I would recommend Harry to anyone! We felt so much more relaxed knowing the music, the flow of the day and the general entertainment was with Harry. Thank you so much and I’m genuinely sad the wedding is over! -

We had Harry from the Wedding Chaps for our wedding at Winters Barns on the 14th Sept and couldn't recommend him more. The DJ book sent to us before really got us thinking about what we wanted, and we also met with Harry before which was super helpful. Everything went down so well with the guests and the dance floor was never empty.
