Owner Abigail Deeks is an accomplished violinist with a classical background who will be ready to give your big day an enchanting soundtrack. With her years of experience and diverse repertoire, she will be ready to bring captivating melodies to your ceremony, reception, and wedding breakfast.
Services Offered
Violin By Abigail performs with an acoustic violin accompanied by tasteful backing tracks for a rich, meaningful sound. You will have a variety of music genres to choose from, including classical, jazz, folk, and modern pop hits. Before your big day, Abigail will craft a music programme that suits your musical tastes and adds a personalised, sentimental touch to your event. While based in Canterbury, she is happy to travel to venues throughout the UK.

What is included in the wedding package?
Solo violin with backing tracks , either acoustic or amplified, unaccompanied or accompanied. The style and length of the performance would be tailored to your requirements.

How far in advance should I contact you?
If you could give me as much notice as possible that would be fantastic. Four weeks minimum during busy periods but please don't hesitate to enquire as happy to accomodate last minute if I can

Abigail was amazing!
Abigail was truly amazing! Having her play on our wedding day was a dream come true and it was everything we hoped it would be.
Abigail plays beautifully and all of our guest kept saying how amazing she was. You have such a variety of music and the style of the music and the violin just fitted so perfect with our venue.

Ceremony music amazing
Thank you so much for playing at our wedding! Abigail was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was very easy to communicate with, responsive to our requests, and played all the songs we wanted beautifully. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed listening to the music, and it helped create a wonderful atmosphere on our special day. Incredible and so talented
We got recommended Abigail through another violinist who was unable to make our wedding date and Abigail was responsive and got booked easily. Everyone said she was amazing and made the wedding ceromony classy!! We were so pleased she made our ceromony romantic and special!! Would recommend in a heartbeat x

A wedding in Arundel with a lovely violinist
We contacted Abigail quite short notice, as we only started to plan our wedding in January for our ceremony in May. Abigail was an absolute star at communicating with us and putting us at ease with the process. We gave Abigail our song choices, with one being unfamiliar, but Abigail was happy to learn this for us! The day of the wedding, and we were nervous of course, but it was lovely to hear Abigail playing for our guests, as we both took to the aisle, Abigail played our chosen songs, and we were so chuffed to hear the piece that she learnt for us as we walked back down the aisle as husband and wife! Abigail is a very friendly and thoughtful person and would make any couple looking for a violinist happy and at ease on their big day!

Abigail the great!
We knew we wanted live music for our wedding but we were really nervous about avoiding falling into the trap of “cheesy”.
We hired Abigail for the ceremony and for our drinks reception and she was absolutely amazing!!!
She communicated well; has an incredible song list to choose from (like hundreds of songs!) and was super flexible when we realised we needed her for a few additional hours.
It was absolutely magical to work down the aisle to canon in D and back out again to the Cranberries!!

Part of my special day.
I saw Abigail at a wedding fair and wanted her as part of my wedding straight away. She was amazing, she learnt new songs for the day and plays effortlessly. I kept it a surprise from my guests and everyone was blown away. Highly recommended.

Amazing violinist
Abigail was amazing from start to finish.
We were intriduced through someone else and Abigail didnt disappoint.
There was a special moment just begore i was to walk fown yhe isle where i vould hear everyone singing along to Abigails violin.
