Where to start! From the first moment, Daryl was amazing. He was friendly, professional and has the most amazing personality. If you are thinking of booking them, just book it. You won’t regret it. His passion for music is incredible and his music choice was absolutely bang on. We gave him a couple of ideas of songs we liked, and he made an awesome playlist from it. Where do we even start with Daryl at Sweet Vibe Events!? If your not up for reading a long review… in short if your looking for someone who will bring the life to the party and makes all your guests think he’s actually part of your family and is able to keep the dance floor going all night long you’ve found the perfect person! We highly recommend and here’s why…

I remember doing all my research at the beginning of the wedding planning and I came across sweet vibe events and after reading reviews and looking through their instagram I knew I found the perfect person to help make our wedding day perfect to us. I told George we have a call with a DJ tonight and he is honestly perfect for our wedding, I was met with “you can’t just go for the first person you talk to” and I’m thinking oh just you wait. We called Daryl and we’re met with the most bubbly, hilarious and down to earth guy through the phone which is a tough thing to do but it came so natural to Daryl. I could see George was hooked instantly, Daryl got our vibe instantly and it felt as if we were chatting to one of our best mates. We end the call and George just looks at me and smiles… “he’s sick and we need him for our wedding”. Moral of the story… the wife is always right.

The whole process was so seamless, the online portal to having a chat in person before our big day to then the day itself. My husband and I met at a festival so music was a big deal for us and it really did come through and our guests loved it! We had Ibiza style music for the drinks reception and I was nervous some of our guests maybe wouldn’t be keep on the music but you need to do what is true to the bride and groom and not think about what other people will think. I had nothing to worry about because every single one of our guests said they loved the music we had all throughout our wedding. The Ibiza style music is exactly what you want for outdoor drinks especially around summer time because it just brings the ultimate fun vibes and it lifts everyone’s mood ten fold.

We had music on throughout the wedding breakfast which was great and created the perfect setting. One thing that I was unsure of and nervous about was doing a father daughter dance, and the way Daryl had included it was a way I’ve never seen before but it truly was one of the biggest highlights of the day and it’s a memory both myself and my dad will hold dearly for the rest of our lives. So Daryl, thank you so much!! The first dance and then the tunes for the rest of the evening were absolutely spot on! There was many of us who didn’t leave the dance floor for the entire evening because it was just tune after tune!!

If you’re still here then I think you might be hooked yourself. Daryl honestly blew it out the park and our guests LOVED him! They thought he was actually family or a close friend because of how down to earth he was, but it’s just a testament to how amazing he is not just as a person but as one of the best wedding suppliers ever!

Having good music and an excellent DJ at our wedding was one of the most important things for us and MY GOODNESS Daryl did not disappoint! From the moment we spoke to Daryl on our initial phone call, we knew we had to have him for our wedding - it was non-negotiable! He is one of the nicest people we’ve ever met and made us feel so comfortable every step of the way. He is SO passionate about what he does and just oozes personality and kindness which makes all the difference. What a DJ! We got married earlier this year in October, and the music for us was one of the most important parts of our day. We didn’t want a mellow formal vibe, we wanted full on party vibe throughout! We love music and we wanted to create a fun energetic atmosphere, and that’s exactly what we got! We was recommended to book sweet vibe events for our wedding, so we went ahead and booked a meeting with Daryl. We spoke in detail about what we wanted, and we instantly felt like Daryl knew exactly what we wanted to achieve and the kind of music we liked. So we went ahead and booked him for our big day. On the day Daryl was great! He was friendly and enthusiastic, he did the music for us for the whole day including the aisle songs! He was brilliant at organising our guests into the right rooms at the right time and also made the guys feel at ease when it was time for them to give their speeches. The music throughout the day was exactly what we wanted and the vibe was perfect! Then he introduced us for the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance, which we were both really nervous about however Daryl was amazing at getting the guests to join us on the dance floor at the right time and everything just went smoothly! Daryl played banger after banger and we did not stop dancing all night! We also hired the white Photo Booth from sweet vibe events, this was the perfect addition to our wedding, not only did the kids love it, so did the adults. There was always a queue to get in there and all the props supplied with it were really funny, you can have photos with different backgrounds it was great fun, looking back at all the photos of our guests the next day were brilliant! We were super happy with our choice of Daryl and Sweet Vibe events for our wedding in September - thanks to Nina at Occasion Queens for the perfect recommendation! From our first call to our meeting nearer the time, Daryl was great - friendly, chatty, funny and a good listener - taking on board the music and type of evening WE were going for. We (I 🤣) find it hard to leave a dance floor and Daryl was willing to work flexibly with the frankly quite full playlist of favourites, as well as bringing his own additions that worked with our mixed genres. He even stepped up to the challenge of creating a successful first dance hybrid!!

Daryl was the ultimate professional from start to finish in the build up and on the day. Not only a safe pair of hands in terms of DJ-ing and understanding of the nuances of wedding evening energy, but also in other important parts of our wedding day which were vital in helping it run smoothly - timeliness, organisation, inclusivity, and amazing presentation of the DJ setup to fit with our theme.

My husband and I knew Daryl was the DJ for us as soon as he answered the phone. His energy was so present and it felt like we were chatting to an old friend. We are so glad that we chose Sweet Vibes for our wedding in August. Daryl was simply amazing. From the first call we had with him, we knew we had made the right decision. He was friendly, funny and genuinely excited to be part of our special day. Leading up to our wedding, Daryl took the time to explain everything that would happen on the day and to really get to know us as a couple. On the day, everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. We are so glad that Daryl convinced us to play the Mr & Mrs game. This was definitely one of the highlights of our evening and our guests are still talking about it now. Welllllll..... where do we even start!!!! From guests arriving to midnight, Daryl didn't stop playing absolute Bangers!! He knows how to get everyone up on their feet and plays to the crowd with ease, unlike most wedding DJs we've come across, you can tell its not just work for him, he was definitely a massive part of our wedding and felt like he was enjoying it us much as us! He even managed to get our photographer and Videographer skanking on the dance floor! He is the most loveliest guy, he went above and beyond for us to make our whole wedding the best and one to remember, not just by us but for all of our guests. What can I say about sweet vibe events…. They are nothing short of amazing!!
From the first video call we had with Mark we knew we had made the right decision, he was warm, friendly and funny and he asked us so many questions that we didn’t even think about. He explained every detail that would happen through the day and if we suggested any songs we wanted he was quick to find them even giving us alternative versions of that song just to make sure we had exactly what we wanted.
Fast forward a couple of weeks to the wedding day and everything from start to finish ran so smoothly- Mark was there every step of the way making sure we knew what we were doing, checking in on us and generally just making sure we were as stress free as possible. When the ceremony had finished Mark was there waiting with a glass of Prosecco for us both, I don’t think either of us had a empty glass all night thanks to mark lol
We went for our photos Mark was there ensuring we were ok- even carrying my train to keep it out of the mud. All of my guests enjoyed how He got them in the party mood during our entrance- we felt like celebrities walking in to everyone waving their napkins lol
Mark is a great master of ceremonies, ensuring that the speeches were all in the order we wanted. The evening reception was just amazing, the dance floor was never empty, the music we wanted was played and there was a good mix for all ages.

Daryl was more than just a DJ as he took the role of toast master, music man, entertainer and all round host. Darryl can work with all music styles and tastes too. Daryl went way above and beyond to make our day feel amazing. I can genuinely say that it wouldn’t have been the same without him. I still have people ask me where did I find that amazing DJ! Literally all of my guests said to me what an amazing event it was thanks to the wonderful DJ. Darryl even created a staged situation where everyone thought the music was broken, then he dropped in our favourite crazy dancing song. It was so amazing! Literally everyone went crazy and started dancing to a jungle song.

Darryl’s lively character and his caring nature made our day the absolute best it could have been. He even threw in some fabulous games to liven up the guests. If you are even considering using him please go ahead. You will not be disappointed!

From the moment we made contact you in 2019 through to postponing in 2020 to arranging again for 2021 you have been nothing but calm, friendly and relaxed about everything. You always kept in contact to make sure everything was ok and assure us that it didn’t matter about having to rearrange due to COVID.

It was such a relief to meet you before the week when I was stressing to go through the timetable of the day and showing us our online planner for us to pick songs for first dance, must be played to those that we really didn’t want playing under any circumstances.

You took the time to phone me before the wedding to confirm it was the rustic set up for the day (which is beautiful especially in the old engine shed) to making sure you had the right version of a song that we wanted played which was so thoughtful of you as you said you had listened to both version and couldn’t see a difference. Tell me to relax and enjoy it as everything will be alright, I can’t thank you enough!!

You turned up super early to set up and thought I hadn’t noticed when you popped your head round the door to make sure everything was going ok, you really are the most caring professional I’ve had the pleasure meet.

You made everything not only look amazing but made the day seamless, from things I’d forgotten like a entrance song for the reception to making sure everyone had been seated before we came in and hyping everyone up for our entrance.

The music through the reception was fantastic in the background to introducing the speeches and the cake cutting I really can’t fault anything!!

The Mr & Mrs game which I thought was fantastic, brought everyone together (also gave me time to actually sit down which I was so thankful for)

Every time I looked around there was someone on the dance floor and even though I didn’t get a chance to get to dance much, the music was absolutely banging!!

Every single guest I spoke to not only on Saturday but the following few days have said you was amazing and made everyone’s night.

A little bit about our experience.
I stumbled across sweet vibe events by pure luck, I had no clue at all where to start so I googled and found a website where i put a post on of what I wanted and djs get in contact. I had many many phone calls and messages but none of them stood out and to be honest I was most worried about a school type disco dj. Again by pure luck Daryl was still registered on this website and he contacted me and asked if he could give me a phone call in the evening. Well, as he was speaking myself and my husband instantly looked at eachother and new we had to have him. There's something completely different about him compared to all of the others I had spoken to. It wasn't until after we decided we wanted him at our wedding that we realised he was infact a multi award winning dj so this was the icing to a very perfect cake!
Unfortunately during the pandemic we had to change our date 3 times. Daryl was absolutely amazing. He helped us so much he's communication was a 10/10 he felt like a friend he would check in with us and see how we was doing, after every announcement checked how we was. Accommodated every new date we gave him, he made a situation that I dreaded so easy.
On the lead up to our final wedding date we had our last meeting with daryl. We new by this point how we felt, also with every single review and every single video clip that we didn't need to give this man a list of music to point him in the right direction we new he would be able to look at our guests and 100 percent trusted him to read the crowd and play the best music. He made us feel so relaxed that it was the biggest stress relief to not have to hand feed the music that had to be played on the day.
Our day finally arrived it was go go go and rush rush and I think the first time we relaxed was when we walked in and Daryl was waiting there to great us. By this point he had already introduced himself and spoken to all of our family. He introduced us into the room and when we sat down our guests immediately was talking about him aswel saying what such a funny lovely man he was. As the meal went on he did not disappoint, everyone was asking us if we picked the play list they all loved the songs it was PERFECT. We was so exited to get the evening started. All I can say is start to finish this man delivered banger after banger!!!! Absolutely smashing tune after tune. I can personally say I could not leave the dance floor. Everytime I decided to have a walk around he would pull another out of the bag and I just could not leave. Everyone from old to young was up jumping and dancing around you could see our guests was having the best night!! The music was out of this world brilliant safe to say we didn't want the party to end!! He was so organised and everything was on point!! He new when to bring things forward when to push things back. This was a massive stress off of our shoulders as I didn't think about anything that needed to be done it was all taken care off. Daryl also chucks a few surprises one being the Mr and Mrs game it waa so Brilliant, Funny and Entertaining. It had everyone involved laughing and just having an excellent time!!
I could go on and on about the things Sweet vibe events done to make our day and night special but the last thing I want to say is Daryl is the most genuine, funny, nicest guy. He is extremely funny and always got the most infectious smile on his face!! THANK YOU DARYL for making our day unforgettable!! A true highlight of everyone's night (apart from the bride and groom 😂) is you!!! Guests are still speaking about you now saying how amazing and talented you are, how you was brilliant and your skills to read read crowd are second to none. We also had a lot of children at our wedding and he was amazing with them to!! Sweet vibe events will not let your special occasion down I couldn't reccomend anyone else and as you can see by there reviews. Every single person leaves a review like mine. From the first time we spoke to Daryl he was friendly and upbeat - we knew he’d be a great person to have around on our wedding day.
We had Daryl for the whole day so not only was he our Dj, he coordinated the day making sure the guests were ok/knew where they were going etc and made all of our announcements for us.
Daryl was fantastic, he was there to greet us when we arrived from the church and was always checking to see if we were ok/wanted anything to eat or drink etc. He was also looking after the guests - so many guests thought he was employed by the venue as he was so efficient and helpful.
The evening was great with Daryl, we didn’t think many of our guests would dance as we had a fairly quiet crowd of people but a lot more than we expected were on the dance floor which was lovely to see and that is definitely due to Daryl’s music and the way he catered for all tastes.
Daryl is a brilliant person to have around on your wedding day as he’s so relaxed, happy and positive yet professional at the same time.
He’s an expert with his job and clearly loves it too! It’s also obvious that he wants you to have the best wedding day just as much as you do yourself!

Daryl set up in the morning, which was great as it did not interrupt our day at all. When Daryl arrived he was so enthusiastic and keen to get going, his energy was infectious!! We played the Mr and Mrs Game, which was a great interactive way to get the evening off to a great start and guests involved. He then played non-stop great tunes for the rest of the evening, but nothing too generic! The best thing about Daryl is that you can tell he genuinely loves what he does!! Everyone was on the dance floor (even my 90 year old Grandma!) and so many of our guests commented that he was the best DJ they had ever seen.
