We had the most incredible wedding day at Maidens Barn. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect venue. The beautiful setting, charming surroundings and relaxed atmosphere created exactly the feel we had hoped for.

The team at Maidens Barn were fantastic throughout the whole experience. They were attentive, helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the day without worrying about the little details.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more. It provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, photographs and celebrations.

Firstly, you guys made our day everything it was - perfectly & wonderfully seamless and full of joy. It is so clear that you love your job & your unwavering dedication to make our wedding as wonderful as it was. We’ve never worked with any supplier that was so forthcoming with info - every query we had in our minds was answered before we had a chance to ask it!
Mercedes, you work tirelessly & your devotion to making sure our day is everything it can be is unrivalled. And you do it all so effortlessly, with a beautiful smile on your face!
Elliott, you’re an absolute joy! It was like having a mate handle everything. Humour, love & ease with everything.
It’s all the little touches you probably don’t even realise you’re doing.

The catering - we’ve had so many people compliment the food & sheer amount of it. It was delicious & never ending! Even Big Tel (FoB) couldn’t believe the amount of food - IYKYK!!

The accommodation - those beds 😍 comfy on new levels! And everyone’s all in one place, a 15 second walk from where the party is at. Perfect!!
We are gutted we only got a few hours in the Honeymoon Cottage (due to running back to have brekkie with family/friends) - we could have stayed for a few days!!

Future brides & grooms - we’re actually jealous you get to experience your big day at Maidens Barn. We would do anything to do it all again. Genuinely.

We had the most fantastic wedding at Maidens Barn on 22.07.2026. It really was our dream fulfilled and the staff and venue were fundamental to this.

We chose maidens barn over other venues for its beautiful grounds, gorgeous ceremony room, the fact that all of the guests would stay in one close area on the day and its great menu choices. We also were particularly impressed with the vast number of guests who could stay on site and all were impressed with the Hayloft barn rooms and the beautiful breakfast served the next day.

From the moment we booked, our wedding felt like it was super important to the staff. They answered queries constantly, offered advice and were extremely accommodating to our requests. A particular note to mention how helpful and friendly Sam was throughout and how responsive Mercedes was on the email account. Thank you to both!

We were able to set up the day before which was a fantastic opportunity and being able to get the bride ready on site and the groom party able to arrive beforehand for some drinks was just incredible. Our guests being able to check in before the ceremony was also a huge benefit.

When our big day rolled around, it felt completely seamless. Sam was able to explain the running of the day and helped to calm the brides nerves and if anything did go wrong we were completely oblivious as a couple! The guests were kept happy with drinks and gorgeous canapés and the service during the reception was amazing. We were able to bring in our own DJ, Photo Booth and sweet treat table which gave us the evening extras exactly as we wished. Staff were accommodating with our favours being on tables and helped us move furniture around to accommodate our set ups too. A particular mention also to Elliot who was so kind and helpful on the evening and when we collected our things over the next few days.

We were asked only to remove chair covers on the evening which was easy to do and everything else was cleaned up and packed away by the staff which made our evening so seamless and meant we could enjoy right up to the final moment. Our stay in the honeymoon cottage was lovely and again, the staff were really helpful getting us there and left us some refreshments for the morning.

I could write more as I was so impressed by Maidens Barn and our guests were too! Thank you for making our wedding the very best day!

When we first booked maidens barn in 2024 for our wedding we instantly fell in love with the venue. The staff were so friendly and the grounds were immaculate. Throughout the planning process the staff were so good with answering questions and making changes when we had them. I arrived at maidens the day before to set up and Sam, Alex and Elliot were to help if we need, answering all my questions and going through what will happened the next day. We was able to set up and un pack, had the gorgeous granary to steam our dresses in. I can’t even put into words how amazing the day was, we’re still not over it and I don’t think we ever will be. The day ran so smoothly, nothing at all went wrong. The ceremony was beautiful, everything was timed perfectly The drinks at the drinking reception didn’t stop flowing, the staff made sure everyone had a full glass. The food by Host was incredible everyone was complimenting it and finishing everyone’s dinners. The whole day just went amazing. Even down to Elliot helping me with my dress when he dropped us off at the honeymoon cottage! I cannot fault the staff at maidens, they’re all brilliant at their jobs and you can truly see they care about what they do. The gardens and barn is so clean and well looked after. I highly recommend maidens to anyone looking to get married in the near future or for any event. We had the most magical day and a massive part of that was the staff. Thank you all again so much for everything!

We recently celebrated our wedding there, and perfect doesn't quite cover it. Not only the venue, but the team at Maidens Barn were on point. A massive thank you to Alex, Sam, Elliot, Natalia, and Mercedes. The way the entire team got involved was incredible—it felt like having a group of close friends help plan your big day.
It is seriously impressive how they managed to keep the venue looking stunning and the flow of the day seamless, even with the weather against us.

My wife was enamoured with Maidens Barn just from their website, photos she’d seen posted, and the reviews she’d read, but of course we still wanted to view the venue in person before locking in a decision.

She was right.

We attended an open day in February 2024 and everything looked amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the venue was beautiful. The team kindly invited us to visit again in a few weeks so my family could also have a look around, and likewise they loved the venue. We booked for our Feb 2026 wedding and never looked back.

Throughout the two-year process the team at Maidens Barn were communicative and professional every step of the way. We were probably quite needy but honestly the team couldn’t do enough for us.

We were lucky enough that the barn was not in use the day before our wedding, so we were invited to come and set up for our big day. We did so and being able to look around the venue again and get our decorations and things in place help to calm our nerves. We also got to test the music system with our setup and it was reassuring to know everything was ready to go.

On the day itself, everything went perfectly and we know this was due to the team working so hard behind the scenes. Our guests were full of praise for all of the team members who were friendly and professional throughout, and so very helpful. Everyone also loved the venue as much as we did – they were telling us how beautiful the barn looked and also how nice the onsite accommodation was.

The next morning we had a continental breakfast with our guests that was included in the price of the overnight stays. Everything was delicious and locally sourced and it was such a nice touch to round off the event. Again the guests spoke very highly of it.
After the wedding, without being asked Maidens Barn reimbursed the leftover drinks tab. The team are honest and hardworking and genuinely invested in giving you the best experience possible and making the day how you want it to be. They care about what it is you want and are incredibly flexible and passionate.

We are so glad we chose Maidens Barn for our special day and cannot thank their team enough. We have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this venue. Such a beautiful location and an amazing team who will not let you down!

From the very first moment we stepped into Maidens Barn, we knew we had found something truly special. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful — the barn itself is warm, romantic, and utterly gorgeous, creating the most magical and unforgettable setting for our wedding day.

Our first visit is a memory we will treasure forever. Elliot showed us around and provided our initial quote, and we can still remember the butterflies we felt as he walked us through the venue. He was so kind, patient, and genuinely caring, especially towards my disabled mum. The warmth, respect, and understanding he showed her meant more to us than we can ever put into words — it was one of the first moments where we knew this venue truly cared about people, not just weddings.

Elliot’s support didn’t stop there. Having him present and helping on the day itself meant so much to us. Seeing a familiar, friendly face who had been part of our journey from the very beginning was incredibly reassuring, and his continued care and attention helped everything run effortlessly.

A very special mention must also go to Alex and Natalia, who looked after us throughout the day. Their calm, caring presence and exceptional management made the entire day feel completely seamless. Everything flowed perfectly, and we never once felt stressed or rushed. They anticipated every detail, guided us gently through each moment, and allowed us to fully relax and be present — something we will always be grateful for.

The level of care and inclusivity shown by Maidens Barn is something we will cherish forever. We had visited several venues that claimed to be wheelchair accessible, but none of them compared. We had prepared ourselves for the possibility that my wheelchair-bound mum might miss parts of the day or be unable to fully take part — but Maidens Barn made absolutely sure that never happened. She didn’t miss a single moment and was even able to stay overnight comfortably. The facilities provided for her were genuinely better than what she has at home, which gave us an overwhelming sense of relief, gratitude, and joy.

From start to finish, every member of staff was accommodating, thoughtful, and deeply caring. Maidens Barn didn’t just host our wedding — they embraced our family, our needs, and our story. They gave us a day that was not only stunning, but inclusive, stress-free, and filled with love.

We will always hold Maidens Barn close to our hearts. They gave us memories we will treasure for a lifetime, and we cannot recommend this venue highly enough to any couple looking for somewhere truly extraordinary.

Recently had my wedding here and cannot write a single fault. Their responses to emails were impeccable and nothing was too much trouble. The whole day went without a single issue (as far as we are aware!).

We had Natalia and Alex on the day of our wedding and they were fantastic. Elliott and Joshua were there for the evening and were also just as fantastic.

Firstly, the venue is perfect. I loved that we had the option to either get married inside or outside (not all venues have a licence to marry outside). The main dining area is beautiful and spacious and there is a separate dance-floor area. We also loved the rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in, and there was plenty of accommodation on-site for our guests.

Maidens Barn offered the opportunity to come in for a food and wining tasing. Many of our guests commented on how good the food was.

Throughout the process I really appreciated just how helpful the staff were. They were always very quick to answer any questions I had and ensured that the day ran smoothly so that we could fully enjoy ourselves.

Communication from everyone on the team is outstanding, and this made things 10x easier for us in terms of booking things. Without Team Maidens we would not have had the day we wanted! Our wedding at Maidens Barn was truly a dream come true. From the very beginning, everyone we interacted with was extremely accommodating and helpful. Everything was run and organised impeccably, and we didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the whole day. We had a number of additional things we wanted included (I am from Ukraine, and we wanted some traditions observed), and everyone was very flexible about accommodating those. Where do I start. Maidens barn is the most incredible venue, our guests absolutely loved it they were all amazed at how stunning the barn really is. It has character, style, it’s sophisticated, it has stunning grounds and fantastic outdoor spaces and most of all the perfect staff. When we first had our viewing in November 2024, we met Mercedes (who really did have a big impact on us deciding to go with Maidens barn, she’s amazing) and from then on we have had the most fantastic experience planning a wedding. Mercedes, Sam, Elliot, Natalia and the rest of the Maidens barn team all made the process so incredibly seamless, I had so many questions and emails, nothing was a hassle and they all responded within an hour or at least got back to me the same day. I felt at ease all through the process from day one to our wedding day. On the day Mercedes, Sam and Elliot all made us feel comfortable and at home, the guests have raved so much about the friendly staff since the day. So thank you once again. The venue speaks for itself, again our guests have all said what a stunning venue it was. The most special moment for me was when our car drove into the courtyard of Maidens barn with our guests all waiting there for our arrival from the Church, Sam handed us a drink and we were so ready to celebrate at such a wonderful venue. We’ve had so many people comment on how incredible the food was, the canapés, wedding breakfast and the evening pizza were all 5*. A special thank you to all at Maidens Barn, what a wonderful venue and team you have, we are biased however I know in my head it’s by far the best venue for a wedding and I cannot describe just how much of a special day we had, we can’t stop talking about it and our guests too!
