The staff at Maidens Barn are what makes this gorgeous venue absolutely outstanding. They were so lovely and attentive throughout both the planning process and on the wedding day, nothing ever felt like too much to ask and no question ever silly.

The day was absolutely amazing and we had multiple guests complimenting the stunning venue as well as saying the food and drink on offer was one of the best they had ever seen at a wedding - it felt like we could really make it the day that we wanted because of the various different options we had besides just the normal sit down meals and evening buffets. We just wish we could do the whole day again!!

Just got married at Maiden’s Barn, as soon as we viewed the venue we knew it was perfect for us, it is stunning. The day went smoothly with no hiccups and everyone has been so helpful throughout the process. A special thank you to Sam, Mercedes and Elliott for being there on our special day. The best day ever.

I think its safe to say that it was one of the best days of our lives. The venue was beautiful, the staff were so lovely, kind and very cooperative and most importantly, my wife loved every minute of it. We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Maidens Barn. The team at the venue were fantastic from start to finish, helping us with all the preparations in the run up to the day and being on hand for absolutely everything during the day itself.
The venue itself was perfect. We were lucky with the weather and able to make use of the outdoor courtyard area for our post ceremony drinks reception and photos, which was ideal.
The ceremony room was the ideal size and looked amazing. The barn for our wedding reception was also spot on, with a great area for the DJ / dance floor, and plenty of space for tables and people to catch up with each other.
The food provided by Host Catering was excellent. The canapés and drinks on hand were very generous, and the afternoon tea option we went for went down really well with our guests.
We stayed in the Honeymoon Cottage, which was a lovely place to stay after the day had finished. It would have been nice for the grooms party to be able to get ready in there, but the room available for them in the venue itself is really good too.
The area for the bridal party to get ready was also really good, with a kitchen, toilet and mirrors / chairs for all bridesmaids.
Some of our guests stayed in the hotel rooms on site. After speaking with them, they feel the check in process could have been smoother, and that a better breakfast could have been provided for the price paid. Rooms cost just shy of £150 and breakfast was self service.
From our perspective though, we can’t fault anything about our wedding itself. We would throughly recommend Maidens Barn to anybody else looking to get married and are so happy with how everything came together. The staff, the location, the atmosphere were excellent.
Maidens Barn will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We booked maidens barn 2 years ago and the minute we looked around we completely fell in love with it! It is the most amazing venue with the most incredible staff! On our wedding day we were looked after by Natalia, Sam, Mercedes and Elliot and they couldn’t have done more for us they’re a real credit to the team at maidens! All our guests have not stopped talking about what an amazing venue maidens it and how incredible and lovely all the staff were! All the staff at Maidens barn are nothing but incredible! From initially coming to view we were greeted by Mercedes who was so helpful and we instantly fell in love with the venue! During the lead up to the day, all the staff were always on hand to answer any questions we had and made us feel so at ease as we approached the day.

We would especially like to give a massive thank you for everything Natalia & Elliot did on the day, they made it run so smoothly. All the guests have said how friendly and helpful they were.

We’ve had nothing but compliments from all our guests on the venue, food and all the staff. The venue itself was absolutely perfect and is so well kept! The accommodation on site was perfect for our guests!

We had a wonderful February 2024 wedding at Maidens Barn right from the beginning of just looking around the venue, to booking our wedding date and then having our special day - the team at Maiden’s Barn were amazing. The team were attentive to us throughout the day, were at hand to answer any questions and they helped organise things flawlessly. No ask was too great and no question was too silly! The team had a good balance of checking in but giving privacy and space to enjoy the time with our guests. The venue is stunning and we really feel the staff (shout out to Mercedes, Alex, Elliot and Natalia) made our day all that much more special. Food was very good and our guests all particularly enjoyed the canapés. I would recommend Maidens Barn to anyone! We wish we could experience it all over again!

We first saw Maidens Barn at an Open Day in September 2022, and promptly booked our wedding for August 2023 on the day! The venue is absolutely lovely, including a lot of accommodation on-site. Mercedes and Natalia organising everything are superb, any questions or requests were answered very promptly and made us very relaxed in the build up to the big day. On the day itself, the entire team were absolutely incredible, they left very little for the best men or ushers to do! From initial contact to the big day itself, our experience was 10/10. Alex, Mercedes and Natalia gave such great attention to detail and were so supportive, answering every little question we had. We simply couldn't have pulled off our big day without their help!

We honestly had such a fantastic day and we don't think we'll ever be able to thank you enough. A sign of a good venue is one that the first time you see it, you know you want to get married there, and when you leave, you're in tears (well the Bride at least) knowing you had the most incredible day.

I honestly don't know where to start. We fell in love with this venue the minute we laid eyes on it, and was in such a rush to book the venue. We were thoroughly looked after by Alex and Sam at the beginning, who answered all the 20,000 questions we had, and had us excited from the get go.

We live an hours drive from the venue, so as you can imagine it was difficult to keep going back and forth when we needed to, but the team made it super easy and helped us out at every stage.

I was naturally a bit nervous when Sam went on maternity leave, as I'd been talking all things wedding with her, but the transition over to the rest of the team was phenomenal and it felt like they'd all become a part of our extended family.

On the day, everyone at Maidens Barn catered to our every need. They helped us when it rained, made sure we always had a drink in our hands, and helped me out in my dress every single time.

It honestly felt like we had friends working at the venue, and it's been hard not speaking to them since our big day.

Everyone has been so complimentary about the venue -we had family and friends come from all parts of the country, and they instantly fell in love with the venue as much as we did.

All our suppliers have rave reviews, complimenting the staff and venue as one of the best they've worked with.

They're dog friendly, which meant our little Jack Russell could be a part of our day, which meant everything to me.

We booked all the rooms in the Hayloft and the Honeymoon cottage, which was incredibly comfy for everyone. It was lovely to be all together in the morning with our close friends and family. (My only change would be if you could rent out the honeymoon cottage the day before, as you don't feel like you get an awful lot of time in there to enjoy it!)

The new Bridal Prep room was a godsend - it was big enough for us all to get ready in, be comfy, get the prosecco popping and coffees for the not-so-morning people.

If we could get married all over again, we would absolutely have it at Maidens Barn, and would recommend everyone else does too!

Everything about Maidens Barn was amazing…all the staff, the supplies, the venue and value for money.

We had an absolutely beautiful day, everyone has commented on how perfect and seamless the day went.

The whole team go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome - and they work so incredibly hard.

We had a gorgeous food and wine tasting at the venue before the big day, which was such a lovely evening. And even better when we then got to celebrate with all our friends and family on the big day itself.
