Luke was the DJ at our wedding and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better! He absolutely nailed the atmosphere all night long, really reading the room perfectly and keeping everyone on the dance floor. The music was amazing from start to finish and he handled everything so professionally and seamlessly.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Luke for our wedding. From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic. He had previously DJ’d my 40th birthday, so we already knew how great he was, but he still managed to exceed all expectations on our big day. The music was spot on all night, keeping the dance floor full and the energy high. He really understood the vibe we wanted and read the room perfectly. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was. Luke also provided the neon light and photo pod, which were both brilliant additions. The photo pod was a huge hit with everyone, there was always a queue, and it gave us some amazing, fun memories to look back on.

Luke was just brilliant. We had absolutely no idea how to pick a DJ, but from the first conversation it was clear Luke knew exactly what he was doing - he put us so at ease, it made the decision easy for us. The planning process was completely smooth and Luke answered any questions instantly (including texting us from his holiday!). Logistical issues about microphones were no issue at all. We had the mood lighting package and Luke worked beautifully to preserve the character of the space, it looked absolutely lovely. On the day, everything went completely smoothly, without the slightest hitch. Would whole-heartedly recommend Luke and Platinum to anyone, and plan to ask Luke to DJ all our weddings from here on in should things not work out!

We hired platinum disco with Luke as our DJ and he was absolutely brilliant! He really knew his stuff and had everyone on the dance floor all night. From start to finish, Luke was professional, prompt, and such a genuinely nice guy. He even took the time to sit down with us beforehand to go through exactly what would happen on the night, which really put us at ease.
We also hired a dance floor with uplighting and a photo booth — both were fantastic additions! The photo booth was a massive hit with all our guests, and the photo book we received afterwards is just hilarious — such a great keepsake full of fun memories.

Luke the manager of the company was just amazing from start to finish. His communication is brilliant and he replies to any queries pretty much instantly throughout the whole planning process. Angus the DJ we had was also just brilliant. He was so professional throughout and he acted as the best host creating so many special memories for us. He had all of the guests on their feet waving napkins as we walked in for the wedding breakfast and he also had the guests on the dance floor the entire night! The dance floor was absolutely packed. I chose this company because their reviews are outstanding and a DJ is not something you should take a chance on as it’s such an integral part of the day. Of course we were not disappointed and I’d recommend this company to anyone!

Luke was amazing from start to finish, when we first got in contact we had a phone call and he explained everything we needed to know, which package would be best for us.
So much choice for not only music & differently playlists but what colour the DJ booth was, camera pod and even what lighting we wanted.
We had a massive verity of music throughout but he made it work…There wasn’t one guest that didn’t make it to the dance floor!
Would recommend to everyone and anyone!

Luke and his team DJ’d the evening reception of our wedding at Braxted Park in April 2025. They were amazing from the moment we requested a quote all the way to the final song of the night! We used Platinum to DJ our wedding. It was a long and complex day, with set up required in three different rooms as well as an outside speaker. In the lead up, Luke was absolutely brilliant and helpful, incredibly solutions-oriented in the face of our many many questions and complications. On the day itself our DJ, Angus, was also superb. Everything ran very smoothly - he set it all up perfectly and also his song choices beyond what we picked were all great. Really couldn't recommend them higher.

Luke was an amazing DJ for our wedding on Saturday! Everything ran so smoothly from the day we booked him to the day of our wedding. At the start of wedding planning, we had to change our wedding venue - but Luke assured us that that was no problem. The online portal that we fill out for our song requests was very straight forward and easy to use! We had the magic mirror and LOVE letters too which was a total hit for our wedding. The magic mirror came with so many props too, everyone that used it absolutely loved it, the added photo album for us to take home was a generous added touch for us to look back on.
Luke was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. From making sure we were happy with the set up, to ensuring all the best songs were played. Luke set everything up very swiftly as we were worried about the timeline of the day, but he made sure everything was ready to go for when evening guests arrived. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding, or any event!

I just want to say how amazing Luke from platinum disco is, he made our whole night and it is the morning after and I can't stop smiling thinking about how well the night went and it was all down to Luke. We added some songs online which we would like and we asked Luke to add some other party songs in between and they were the perfect choices which got everyone up on the dance floor dancing away. I've had so many people asking me for Lukes details because it is so hard to find someone who can genuinely dj and not just play a few songs. We had the photo stand too and it was fantastic. Everyone loved it, it was being used all night and I've just received all the pictures and I am smiling again looking at them all. I can't wait to send them to everyone that came. The set up looked amazing we chose the black photo stand and dj booth and we had all the neon lights too it made the whole venue look fantastic. Everything was so easy from start to finish because of luke and Christina's experience and professionalism. This is an honest review from a very happy customer. I wish we had them at our wedding. I have terminal cancer and our party was for my sons 21st which was a very important day for us all and Luke made it a fantastic night and we will forever have these memories. I will be sure to recommend platinum disco to anyone who needs a fantastic dj for weddings, party's, birthdays, events. A dj can make or break your night and Luke made it.
