Fabulous ceremony!
Helen was such a wonderful part of our wedding day. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease and took the time to get to know us as a couple, making the ceremony feel personal, meaningful and truly ours.
On the day, Helen was warm, calm and reassuring, and delivered the ceremony so beautifully. It had the perfect balance of emotion, humor and sincerity, and so many of our guests commented on how lovely and personal it felt.

Cannot recommend Helen enough!!!
Our guests said it was the best wedding ceremony they’ve ever been to (and we agree!) it was so personal from start to finish as well as emotional, funny and everything that makes us, us! Helen is beyond amazing and so easy to talk to. When we got the script back we couldn’t believe that our story had been put into words so well. There will never be enough words to thank you for everything. If you’re considering Helen, stop the search now - you’ve found your woman!

Helen was our celebrant for our wedding day and we couldn't be happier, we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a celebrant for their ceremony. Helen's approach was incredibly personal and friendly, spending the time to get to know us in the lead up to the wedding which resulted in a personalised bespoke ceremony which captured our story perfectly.
We had so many compliments from guests of how beautiful the ceremony was and many had not experienced a humanist ceremony before. We were highly impressed and would recommend a humanist ceremony to anyone considering getting married.

True to you
Thank you for making our day so special! From our initial planning meetings right up to the wedding day, Helen remained flexible and supported us throughout the process—which was invaluable, as we aren't traditionally romantic or fans of public displays of affection. We had so many guests come up to us both during and after the day to comment on how 'true to us' the ceremony was, how unique it felt compared to others they’d attended, and how much they enjoyed getting to know my wife and me better through it.
She felt life a familiar face on the day and despite being surrounded by friends and family was a welcome break amongst the wider stress of the day.

We met Helen at a wedding fayre and instantly felt like we clicked from the start. As a couple, we'd never thought about having a humanist ceremony, but after meeting Helen and doing some research, we knew it was for us.
From our very first conversation, Helen made us feel comfortable and excited about creating a ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple. She took the time to get to know our story and helped us create a ceremony that was personal, meaningful, and full of warmth. Nothing ever seemed like an inconvenience to Helen. She adapted the script whenever needed and helped us work out how to include family members in the ceremony. She even gave us the idea of having our puppy as the ring bearer, which ended up being the perfect addition to the day!

Best in the Biz!
Helen was absolutely flawless from start to finish. SO responsive and she put in so much effort we really felt like ours was the only ceremony she had this year! (It was of course, one of many!)
And the ceremony itself was delivered so beautifully. Helen really captured our love story. It was sweet, funny, emotional, tear-jerking all in one. Our guests have been saying ever since what a fabulous ceremony it was - completely unique and the best they’ve ever seen.
I don’t have many photos because she is a master of ‘not getting in the way’ but have attached a sweet one.
Helen is worth every single penny and you’d be silly not to book her right now!!

From our very first meeting with Helen to our wedding day, she was absolutely amazing. She was so organised, professional and structured throughout the whole planning process, but what really stood out was how caring and personal she was.
Helen took the time to get to know us as a couple and made sure our ceremony was completely “us”. She listened to what we wanted, offered guidance when we needed it and helped create a ceremony that felt personal, relaxed and incredibly special.

Can we do it all again please Helen?
Helen was our wonderful celebrant at our wedding at This Green Moon in June and what a beautiful ceremony it was.
From the first call with Helen the whole process was easy and we were put at ease about something we both initially felt anxious about. Originally we thought we'd skip the ceremony and just have a party but I'm so glad we delved into the world of humanist celebrant lead ceremony's and found Helen. It was so emotional, personal and joyfull.
With Helen's experience and great writing, she helped us plan the perfect ceremony that was just us, with hand fasting, singing, ring sharing including our daughter. It was so memorable.
I only wish we could do it all again.

Incredible Celebrant!
Helen was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the very beginning, she put so much time, care and attention into getting to know us properly as a couple. She spent hours with us on calls, learning about our relationship, our personalities and our story, and it genuinely showed in every part of the ceremony.
The script she created was absolutely beautiful, so personal, thoughtful, emotional and incredibly well written. She managed to tell the story of our relationship in a way that felt completely authentic to us, and there were so many moments during the ceremony where we and our guests were genuinely moved. It felt like she truly understood who we are.
Working with Helen throughout the process was also incredibly easy and collaborative. She gave us so much time, was always open to edits and ideas, and made the entire process feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than stressful.
On the day itself, she was amazing. She had such a calm, warm and confident presence, and she completely held the room. She painted such a vivid picture of our story and created a ceremony that felt deeply personal, emotional and full of joy.

The BEST celebrant
Helen has done an absolutely amazing job as our celebrant and we are ever so grateful to have found her.
From the moment we've met her we decided she'll be our celebrant. Helen has made the process so nice and easy and I appreciate her patience with us getting things to her last minute at times (sorry again!).
We wanted a celebrant to make our ceremony personal and a way of including our little son too. Our wedding ceremony was so beautiful, personal and very much about us as a couple and a family. Everyone of our guests have commented on our ceremony and how beautiful and how different it was from the usual.
We couldn't have chosen a better celebrant than Helen and I would recommend her to you all. She's the best and honestly deserves a lot more starts than just 5!

I am an experienced wedding Celebrant, accredited by Humanists UK and passionate about creating personal, heartfelt and fun wedding ceremonies in North and West Yorkshire and beyond. Starting from our very first meeting, I will bring a wealth of energy and ideas for your ceremony and then lovingly guide you through the process to create a wedding ceremony that is unique to you and your love. Inspired by your love story and from taking the time to get to know you and what you want from your day, I will ensure your ceremony is meaningful and memorable both for you and your guests. I am proud to be a two times winner of a Hitched Wedding Award three years in a row thanks to the amazing feedback that I receive from my wonderful couples.
Services Offered
I only offer one wedding per day, so as to give your celebration my undivided attention and afford you maximum flexibility around timings. I am also part of a wide network of Humanist Celebrants so, if for any reason, I couldn't lead your ceremony, one of my colleagues would be able to step in. My process starts as soon as you book in as, no matter how far ahead your wedding is, we begin getting to know each other which helps me to then tailor suggestions and recommendations for your ceremony. We can, of course, also include any readings, music pieces, or symbolic acts that interest you, no matter how quirky! My wedding package includes unlimited communication, a bespoke script, a presentation copy of your script as a keepsake as well as travel to and from meetings in advance and to your venue on the day itself.
