Most special day made perfect by Helen
We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant for our wedding! From our very first meeting, she was incredibly professional and patient, taking the time to truly get to know us as a couple. This personal touch really shone through in her ceremony script, which felt perfectly tailored to our relationship and story.
Throughout the planning process, she was both accommodating and thorough, always considering our wants and needs. On the day itself, she struck the perfect balance of emotion, bringing both heartfelt moments and plenty of laughter. She made our ceremony feel authentic and special.

Helen beautifully captured our story, it was as though she'd known us for the full 9 years we've been together. Although her speech was about us and our journey Helen managed to include everybody else in the room, weaving them in and out of our tale where appropriate. I've never been to a wedding with so many tears filled with love and happiness. I thought I was doing a great job of hiding mine but the photos would say otherwise...Helen Phillips Your Best Life Celebrant's reply:

Harteveld wedding 12.11.25
Helen captured our story so incredibly well. We got in touch with her 2 years prior to our wedding and she got to know us through Instagram leading up to the wedding. 2 months before the big day we met up told our story within a 2 hour window and from then she went away and wrote the most beautiful story. It's hard to believe she wasn't there for the full 9 years of our relationship!
On the wedding day there wasn't a dry eye in the room, she told our story with such grace and made our ceremony come to life.
Her professionalism was next to none, we couldn't thank her enough.

We cannot recommend Helen enough.
From start to finish she was focussed on making us feel at ease, and ensuring our wedding was right for us.
We were introduced to Helen via recommendation, and instantly felt at ease with her from our first zoom call.
Helen spent time with us face to face, to understand our story and who we are together and as individuals. She listened intently and asked us questions genuinely, and got so much detail and nuance down on paper. The first draft of our ceremony had us feeling all the emotions, weeks out from the big day.
Helen was thoughtful in the run up to our day, checking in, reading and providing guidance in forming our vows, and was available for support when we needed her.
On the day, it wasn’t just about the ceremony. Helen liaised with the venue, our dog walkers (yes our pooches had their moment too) and coordinated music cues with the vocalist we had for our ceremony (a late supplier change also, as we were let down by our original musician). All of which meant we didn’t need to stress and could enjoy our day.
From a remembrance candle, to heartfelt vows, shots to toast our wedding, and the all important pooches. Nothing was too much trouble for Helen, who makes a very challenging and important role look so easy and effortless.
We couldn’t imagine our wedding any other way, and will be forever grateful for the memories she helped us create.

She really is the best
Helen was our celebrant for our wedding and she was wonderful. She really got to know us a couple and told our story beautifully. Swinton Elopement
We’re not sure where to start but we can say that Helen was positively wonderful. We live in the US, in fact way over on the West coast. From the beginning, Helen communicated clearly and was very flexible for us considering the large time difference between us. Helen was organized, considerate and took the time during our planning calls to ask good questions, listened to our feedback and generally give us a sense of peace knowing things would be taken care of even though we were halfway across the world. When it came time for the ceremony she nailed it with the script she created, our ceremony was intimate and Helen having worked with the photographers before, helped cultivate the intimacy we were looking for in our ceremony. Amazing Celebrant! 🌟
Our wedding was in July 2025 and Helen was one of the best choices we made for our day! After conducting some research into humanists in our area we chose Helen. Her ethos and values as a celebrant aligned with us as a couple perfectly. From the beginning she was friendly, attentive and understanding. It felt really easy speaking to her about us and our story. We spoke with Helen about our wishes for the day and how we wanted the ceremony. From this, Helen curated a bespoke ceremony that captured us as a couple perfectly. Nothing was ever an inconvenience for Helen when we asked to add or remove information which made us feel like we were truly listened to and our story was given importance! Guests commented on the inclusion of anecdotes and little touches giving a warm and light hearted feel to the service. It was the perfect way of telling our love story and we’ll be forever grateful. I think Helen also beautifully introduced to some people from the wedding the job of celebrants and what they have to offer! Thank you so much again - we’re so glad we chose you! made our day ultra special
When I was looking for a Celebrant for our wedding in August, I met virtually with a couple of celebrants from Hitched and immediately hit it off with Helen when we spoke and we certainly were not disappointed. Helen spent around 3 hours with us in our home, really getting to know us and listened to our love story. When she sent through the script she really had managed to capture our true vision. On the day she was a calming influence and told our story with in a warm and humous way. our guests loved it and her.
