The turnaround time from Assegai Productions shocked us in the best way possible. We expected to wait months, but we received a draft so quickly and the quality was unbelievable. Pianki also listened carefully to our feedback and made the small changes we requested without any hassle. The whole process felt professional, but also personal at the same time.

I can’t speak highly enough of Paul & Lou. Not only are our wedding photos so incredibly beautiful (you wouldn’t know we were all absolutely freezing!) but Paul & Lou were so attentive, organised and incredibly thoughtful across the whole day. From organising rowdy boys, to giving our best man our rings that had ended up at the wrong end of the venue, Paul and Lou were our wedding day heroes. They took two incredibly unconfident people and created the most stunning photos that we’ll cherish forever. And as for the videos- we didn’t know whether to have the wedding filmed but it is the one thing I’m recommending to everyone now. We are unbelievably grateful to the incredibly talented, kind and down to earth Paul and Lou xxx

We couldn't recommend Race Wedding Videography enough! Our wedding was in May 2026, but we met with Ben maybe a year before that. Ben was amazing the whole way through the process, and was more than happy to take the time to explain to us what to expect on the day and remembered all the little details we had shared in our initial meeting. On the day, he was a calm and friendly presence, making everyone feel at ease and was so discreet with his filming throughout the day, moving effortlessly between the bridal party and grooms party in the morning and then capturing all the wonderful details of the ceremony and the rest of the day. We are blown away by the results; the videos are so personal and tell the story of the day perfectly, capturing the joy and love we felt. If you are looking for a videographer who can capture the memories of your day in a way that you will treasure forever, Ben is your guy. Thank you so much, Ben for everything!

Dave is so lovely and down to earth and really listened to the kind of vision we had. Dave has a drone also which was perfect for our firework display. Dave just goes with the flow, he knows what he’s doing and knows how the get the shots so we just let him to it and the results did not disappoint!

Dean filmed our wedding at Danesfield House in May 2025 and working with him was an absolute joy from start to finish. Communication was spot on throughout – he kept us updated and was always really easy to deal with. On the day itself, Dean was a pleasure to have around: very personable, relaxed and fun, but also professional and unobtrusive so everything felt very natural. It genuinely felt like having another friend there rather than a supplier, which made us both so much more comfortable in front of the camera. The films he delivered – our highlight video, a short reel perfect for social media, plus the full ceremony and speeches – are all fantastic and we’re very happy with them. We’ve had so many positive comments from friends and family about how beautifully everything was captured. Would absolutely recommend Dean for all your wedding videography needs. If you’re considering booking him, do it – you’ll be in very safe hands.

Excellent company and genuinely lovely guys. They know what they are doing and do it well BUT one piece of advice regardless of who you choose… Know what you want and tell them!!! These guys really will need a clear idea of how you see your wedding video unless of course you’re just happy with a style that you’ve seen on there website. The guys can’t film everything at once so you need to tell them your vision so that they can focus on getting the right footage on the day. If you’re the type of couple that want maximum glamour and style then they can focus on getting those shots of sweeping dresses and delicately sipped champagne which fit perfectly into the Cinematic video style. However, you want to relive the day with all the little details such as pre wedding shenanigans of the bridal party getting ready, touching details like the grandparents arriving at the venue or all out fun on the dance floor the videographers need to know. We assumed the videographers could do it all at once and probably made too many assumptions but having said that Wedding Video Essex really went out of their way to provide us with what we wanted. So a big thank you to all the team and I would definitely recommend them.

John was professional and excellent throughout our interaction with him. He was always quick to respond to any queries both prior to the wedding and after. We met in person at the venue in advance of the day to ensure he tailored things to what we were looking for. We hardly noticed him during the wedding itself and are so so pleased with the end result of our special day video :) Couldn’t have wished for better! Would highly recommend John’s services 😊

I felt compelled to comment here because our experience with Jamie at Songbird Wedding Videos was completely different. Even in Oliver’s review it’s clear Jamie was professional on the day, discreet, and delivered a highlights film they were happy with. That already says a lot about the quality of his work and his approach. From our experience, Jamie’s style is intentionally documentary and cinematic rather than a long, literal recording of every second of the day. That creative storytelling is exactly why we chose Songbird. Our wedding films were beautifully edited and captured the atmosphere and emotion of the day perfectly. It’s also worth remembering that wedding films are creative edits of the same footage, so highlights naturally appear across different versions of the final films. That’s very normal in wedding videography and certainly not “lazy”. As for the turnaround time, we also waited longer than we had hoped, but once we received the films it was obvious how much care, editing skill and craftsmanship had gone into them. Quality work does take time, and in our case it was absolutely worth the wait. Out of more than 150 reviews, this appears to be the only negative one, which really speaks for itself. Our experience with Jamie was fantastic and the films he created for us are something we will treasure forever. Songbird Wedding Videos is absolutely worth it and we would recommend Jamie without hesitation.
