CONFETTI PRODUCTIONS is an accomplished wedding videography business serving couples in Kent, Essex, Sussex and Dorset. Boasting decades of experience in the filmmaking industry, owner Steve Girdwood takes pride in providing couples with tender and heartfelt wedding films. He will pull out all the stops to make your cinematic keepsake as stylish and special as possible.

Steve films 95% of the wedding personally so you will almost certainly benefit from his vast experience and expertise.

On the rare occasions where he has a booking on the date of your wedding he uses an equally experienced cameraman to film the wedding with Steve editing all the weddings booked through Confetti Productions.

Services Offered

You and your partner can choose from an array of packages, ranging from the base Silver bundle to the comprehensive Platinum option. The latter includes the use of multiple cameras, whole-day coverage, a fully edited wedding video, a highlights montage, and more. Your video can be viewed in numerous formats, such as DVDs, USB flash drive, and Blu-Ray. Optional extras like additional copies and drone footage can be made available upon request.

We film from the preparations, the ceremony, the photo call, the speeches, messages from family and friends, the cutting of the cake, first dance and a highlights montage to a song of your choice

How far in advance should I contact you?

We can take bookings from a few days in advance (if we are available) up to two years in advance

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, kent,Essex and Sussex

What is the charge for travelling?

A travel supplement of £30 is payable if the wedding venue is in excess of 40 miles from CT4 7PY

What kind of technology do you use?

We like to blend into the background as much as possible as this makes the production more natural and intimate

We can’t recommend Confetti productions enough!

We can’t recommend Steve enough! So many of our guests have said to us how much of a nice guy he was and the video is brilliant exactly what we wanted covering all aspects of the day, you won’t even realise he’s there with the camera! The final edit was sent back to us just 3 weeks after our wedding! Thanks again Steve!

Wedding in July 2024

I booked confetti productions to video my wedding back in 2023 to video the day in july 2024.From start to finish they were so helpful and made the whole process so easy.On the day,steve was on time and was just so easy to be around (unlike some videographers that make things awkward sometimes!).He made sure he got the entirety of my wedding ceremony and there’s no moments that i can point out that he missed.My whole family and myself cannot fault his work and are so grateful.
I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends in the future.

Lovely people and service

Very personable and helpful.. Quality photos and video and when there was a slight error this was rectified promptly without any fuss . Mel the videographer is so organised and friendly and definitely helped make our day run smoothly

Wedding video

I decided two weeks before my wedding that I wanted a video to capture my ceremony, so I frantically started searching the internet for a videographer. I came across confetti productions and after checking all of their amazing reviews, started talking to Steve. He managed to get someone to film our special day at short notice and I was very pleased with the amount of time that he spent at the wedding, making sure that he had a lot of shots for the video. He was very friendly and the communication throughout the whole process has been great. We are very happy that we got to capture our special day on film. Thankyou.

Efficient, economical, exceptional.

We were incredibly impressed with the service received from initial enquiry until the delivery of the end product.

Steve contacted us efficiently prior to the wedding and left us confident in the service we would receive.


During the day, Steve was great and very much worked alongside our photographers. We appreciated how much he ‘blended into the background’ - capturing lots of moments.

Even more impressive was how quickly this was able to be turned around - highly highly recommended !

Steve’s Post and pre wedding service was outstanding, we have the most amazing memories captured beautifully by Steve I would have no hesitation in recommending him! Steve had great communication and listened to every thing we wanted. We had a last minute request which Steve accommodated. Absolutely amazing

I would highly recommend Steve. He videoed so much that we don’t get to see on the day as we are so busy. The video was absolutely beautiful and we laughed the whole way through it. It was the best day of our lives and to be able to watch it back I years to come is amazing. Thank you Steve.

So glad we booked! Thank you for capturing our special day!

We had our beautiful twilight wedding at the Barnyard in May and originally hadn’t planned to have a videographer, but after a few elderly family members couldn’t make it we booked pretty last minute and so glad we did. Steve captured all of our special moments perfectly throughout the evening and I am over joyed with the end result. I asked for a few tweaks to the video, mainly extra music and they were completed extremely promptly and without an issue. My mother in law has just purchased a copy too as she loves it so much.

Thank you so much for capturing our special day & anyone thinking of having a videographer booked - do it!

The best in the buisness

Brilliant, would definitely recommend.

I would definitely recommend Confetti Productions after we used them for our wedding this year. Steve is such a lovely man and captured everything we hoped for and he arrived at the venue on time. He is very good at answering calls and would always call back quickly if he wasn't available. I am so glad he did our video for us as it really gives us something to remember our day with. He got on well with everyone without being intrusive. Thank you Steve.

Couldnt recommend highly enough

Steve was amazing on the day. He really interacted with the guests well throughout the day and did an amazing job when producing the video and capturing the most important bits.
