Townsend Wedding
Tregenna castle provided us with our dream wedding venue, dream wedding team and all round dream wedding day!
When we look back at each moment, it was amazing because of them, from the co-ordinators, waiters and hotel staff, their combined efforts and hard work made our day, well to put it… perfect!
Harriet and Katie were an anchor of support through each step of the planning process, from timings of the day, menu choices and just around to offer advice.
Harriet who support the bridal team on the big day was calm and collected and got all those finer details in check so the day went as smoothly as planned.
Stephane kept the fun alive and all our guests very well taken of throughout the day.
There will never be enough words to describe how grateful we are to the whole team for helping us create but most importantly be apart of our special day.
If we got to our day all over again, we would choose you… always. -

We had our wedding at Tregenna Castle on 18.10.2024 and we cannot recommend this venue enough! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish.
Harriet and her team made the booking and planning process so easy and were always on the end of the phone to answer any questions we had.
We stayed at the venue the night before our wedding with lots of friends and family members and enjoyed a meal and drinks.
The morning of the wedding was so chilled and me and my bridesmaids had a beautiful breakfast hamper delivered to our room while we were getting ready.
The whole wedding day ran so smoothly and that was thanks to every single staff member involved in our day, we will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did for us to ensure our day was perfect.
So many of our friends and family commented on how amazing everyone and everything was and said what a beautiful venue we had chosen!
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it.

My daughter’s wedding was a wonderful experience. She was looked after by the wedding planner who consulted and updated her throughout the day. Everything about the day was perfect from the food, staff and wonderful surroundings. Even the rain added to the fun of the day! Would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or a holiday as the staff who work there are friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you Tregenna Castle.Tregenna Castle's reply:

Best wedding experience
Where do we start.. from start to finish the team at Tregenna were so accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless and us and our guests were well looked after.
All the staff at Tregenna were so accommodating throughout our entire stay and nothing was too much hassle for them.. even though they had 3 weddings last weekend to cater for!
The Tregenna team are truly so professional and give a real family feel to the hotel.. from the welcoming staff at reception to the staff behind the bar to the staff running between the kitchen and the restaurant.
A big thank you to the staff who brought up room service breakfast on the morning for myself and my bridesmaids and tidied and set up the bridal suite for when we got back. The room itself is lovely and has a stunning view!
We chose to do our own decor which we left with the events team and they set it up exactly as we wanted. Our guests said how beautiful it all looked and how grand the venue looked.
We had soooo many compliments on the food! Several of our guests throughout the evening said how nice the food was and how much they enjoyed it. We also had so many questions of ‘where are the pasties from?’ And ‘who made the pasties?’ - lots of our local guests said they were the best they had ever had!
They were also so accommodating in changing a guests food on the week of the wedding who was breastfeeding and their baby could not have dairy, and also meeting the needs of one of our guests who was observing Ramadan and therefore fasting and could not eat until sunset.
A special mention also to Stephane who guests said reminded them of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast and Fred Sirieix from First Dates for his attentiveness and warmth. Thank you also to Becky for supporting with music.
We had the most special day and every detail was perfect.. we just wish we could do it all again! We also had a lovely stay at Tregenna, as did many of our family and friends who stayed also.
A huge thank you to Katie, Harriet, James and the whole team for a truly wonderful wedding weekend - one we will never forget!

Tregenna Castle made everything so easy. We moved over seas about 8 years ago and so planning a wedding for back home wasn’t going to be easy however Tregenna Castle were fantastic. I can’t thank them enough for everything they helped us with and made our day perfect. The staff are amazing, the venue is beautiful, the food is fantastic and they were there to help every step of the way. I wouldn’t have changed a thing, thank you so much!Tregenna Castle's reply:

Me and my husband got married here and it was just beautiful, we had the most magical day and we are so glad we chose this venue!
The staff are simply incredible and where there for us throughout the whole experience, nothing was to much for them they really made our day!Tregenna Castle's reply:
