I am a multi award winning, experienced and bilingual [German/English] celebrant and I love creating bespoke and meaningful ceremonies. The couples I work with love my passion and enthusiasm for their amazing love story and we created a relaxed and romantic wedding ceremony, elopement or their meaningful vow renewal for them.
I speak fluent German and English, and my ceremonies are written just for you, my approach is traditional but not formal and your ceremony will reflect you in a totally unique and beautifully personal way. I am a true romantic and I help you set the tone and vibe for your special day!

More than just a celebrant!
When we started looking for a celebrant, we were also looking for a translator as some of our family only speak German. We wanted everyone to feel included and able to fully understand and enjoy our ceremony. When we discovered that Sabine offers bilingual ceremonies, we thought it was such an amazing idea - and decided to keep the German element a surprise for Andy’s family. When Sabine suddenly started speaking German during the ceremony, they were completely overwhelmed with emotion. It was such a special moment and one we’ll never forget.
We looked through her Instagram and immediately felt her warm vibe and booked in a chat with her. Once we had spoken to her in person we knew she would be perfect for us. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely relaxed and reassured that everything was in safe hands.
Sabine was wonderful throughout the planning process. She gave us an early draft of the ceremony to work through together and gave us complete editorial control, allowing us to really craft something that felt personal and completely “us”. She also suggested beautiful personal touches, including a ring-warming and handfasting ceremony, which made the whole experience even more meaningful.
And then came the wedding day! The conditions were certainly challenging, with plenty of wind, but Sabine handled everything like a champion. She stayed calm, adapted to the situation and delivered what we honestly thought was the best ceremony ever - even in difficult conditions.
What made it even more special was that Sabine didn’t just disappear afterwards. She stayed, mingled with our guests and genuinely felt like part of the family. With a multilingual group, she helped people connect and socialise, while also providing logistical support.
We are so incredibly grateful to Sabine for everything she did for us. She brought warmth, humour, professionalism and so much heart to our wedding, and made our ceremony something we will treasure forever.

German-English Wedding at Prussia Cove
From the very beginning, we felt completely safe in her hands. Wedding planning can be chaotic, but knowing that our ceremony was taken care of allowed us to relax and enjoy the lead-up to our special day. Sabine was always available to answer questions, meet with us and guide us through the process.
One of the things we loved most about having a celebrant-led ceremony was how personal it could be. Sabine was enthusiastic about incorporating German traditions and helped us create a ceremony that truly reflected who we are as a couple. We chose a ceremony that was around 70% English and 30% German and it worked perfectly none of our guests felt left out.
The ceremony itself was everything we had hoped for: personal, emotional, meaningful and filled with warmth and humour. Our guests absolutely loved it. Several people even came up to Sabine afterwards to tell her how much they had enjoyed the ceremony and to chat with her.
We first found Sabine on Instagram and, when we realised she was German, we contacted her straight away without looking any further. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Sabine is Amazing!
We had various meet ups and video calls leading up to the day which helped ease our stress and made us feel more calm and comfortable. We also had the opportunity to read through the ceremony and approve it, as well as having a run through at the venue, this was really important to us as it helped ease our nerves before the big day.
We had so many compliments from guests who said that the ceremony was so personal and interesting, they could tell that Sabine had really got to know us, unlike some registrar led ceremonies which can feel quite formal and not very personal, people really enjoyed the ceremony, with several guests saying it was the best wedding ceremony they had been to.
Sabine really captured our love story and made our day so special, we cannot thank her enough! I would not hesitate to recommend Sabine to anyone planning to get married, if you want a special, personalised and meaningful ceremony, Sabine is your lady!

Obviously, we were super nervous having the wedding so far away from our home area of Lincolnshire. But after talking through our plans with Sabine and others at Pengelly retreat, we realised it was going to be an amazing experience with these guys helping and planning on our behalf.
From the first interaction by video call with Sabine, we knew we had chosen wisely.
All questions asked were answered and elaborated upon.
Great ideas to make the day as special as possible were suggested and then actioned by Sabine.
Honestly, the whole experience was so easy due to the knowledge and professionalism of Sabine.
You can not put a price on building memories of such an amazing day. But for the amount we gladly paid for such an outstanding service, it was our pleasure to pay Sabines for her time.
