Vicky and Phil are true artists at what they do. When we were looking for a photographer we had a real vision and didn't want photos that were overly edited, Senior Mac fit the bill. From our first communication and meeting, Vicky was so friendly and professional. The process of getting them booked and paying the deposit was so simple and easy. Once you've done this you get access to a portal which is great to see what you've ordered, payment deadlines etc etc.

Our meeting before the wedding day was brilliant, it really put our minds at ease and we felt so confident in Senior Mac and could tell they knew exactly what they were doing.

Come the wedding day, Vicky and Phil arrived promptly and they are just the loveliest people. We instantly felt at ease and could chat away with them easily and have a laugh and honestly they both really added to the day. Vicky is a star and helped me with my dress, walking on the (wet) grass, veil and more. She was absolutely fantastic.

We had our viewing meeting last night and the pictures are just incredible, they are true magicians with the camera! They got the perfect mix of photos of us, our guests, and the venue. We genuinely cannot say enough good things about Vicky and Phil from Senior Mac Photography. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish and went so far beyond what we expected from our wedding photographers. They weren't just photographers on the day, they were like event managers, problem-solvers, organisers and a calming presence whenever we needed them. We honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough.

From the moment they arrived, it was obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing. As a married couple themselves, their communication and seamless teamwork really came across. They worked together so naturally and were incredibly organised, professional and attentive to everything happening around us.

They were also fantastic at taking initiative and helping with things that weren't even technically their responsibility. When the bride had issues with poor alterations to her dress, Vicky immediately stepped in with her trusty bumbag full of helpful bits and pieces and helped sort things out. She was so calm, supportive and professional, and it made a potentially very stressful situation feel much more manageable.

We had decided to film our ceremony on a phone, but hadn't even thought about where we were going to put it! Phil immediately offered his expert advice and helped us work out the best place to position it. He also helped pin the groom's lapel on. These might seem like tiny things, but they were exactly the sort of thoughtful moments that made such a difference throughout the day.

They were constantly looking out for the little details. During the ceremony, a ribbon fell off the bride's bouquet and Phil spotted it and picked it up straight away. Their attention to detail wasn't just about getting the perfect photograph. They genuinely seemed to notice and care about everything happening around us.

They also made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. Neither of us had ever done a professional photoshoot before, so we were a little unsure of what to expect, but they talked us through everything and gave us really simple, quick tips for posing. They knew exactly how to position us, where to stand and how to use the light, and they made the whole process feel natural rather than awkward or staged.

Their technical knowledge and creativity were obvious throughout the day too. They used the natural light and the beautiful spaces at Rivervale Barn incredibly well, as well as using things like backlighting to create some really beautiful shots. We had sent over some Pinterest inspiration, which they took on board, but they also brought their own creativity and expertise to the day. We can't wait to see the finished photographs because even from the little glimpses we saw, we know there are going to be some incredible shots!

Our ceremony overran, which meant we had less time than planned for our family photographs, but honestly, we wouldn't have known it. Vicky was absolutely brilliant at rounding everyone up, and she had names on cue cards ready for each photograph so everything could happen quickly and efficiently. They directed the day so well without ever making it feel stressful or rushed.

They also managed to have a laugh with everyone, including the best men, and just fitted into the day so naturally. They are both incredibly kind, funny, calm and easygoing people, which made having them around such a pleasure. We never felt like we had photographers constantly getting in our way, instead, it felt like we had two brilliant people quietly making sure everything was going smoothly while capturing all the important moments.

Looking back, we honestly don't think we could have chosen better photographers. The combination of their incredible photography skills, technical knowledge, creativity, organisation, attention to detail and genuinely lovely personalities is something really special.

Vicky and Phil, thank you so much for everything you did for us. You didn't just take our wedding photographs — you helped make our wedding day run smoothly, supported us when things went wrong, kept us calm, made us laugh and captured the day so beautifully. We are so excited to see all of the final photographs and know they will give us memories we can treasure forever.

Vicky and Phil at Senior Mac are fantastic at what they do. We loved the style of photos they took when we were looking at different photographers, and the fact that you get two photographers for the day gives you different perspectives of the same moment, which we loved.

We had a couple of meetings before the big day with Vicky to put a plan in place for the photographs and she was so helpful in giving us ideas and making sure we had everything sorted.

On the day both Vicky and Phil made both me and my new wife feel instantly relaxed, I don't think she will ever forget wiggle turtle when taking photos in the future! The silly little things like this made the whole day seem so easy.

The photos they took on the day are amazing. The captured us and our guests perfectly. They were there from when my wife was getting ready, till an hour after the first dance. This meant we have memories to keep from the whole day. Memories that will last a lifetime.

We cannot recommend Senior Mac enough to couples getting married.

We got married in November 2025 and received our wedding photos just after Christmas. From the first meeting we were sold, they were so lovely and welcoming, and we were in love with the way they captured weddings and particularly the way they captured the colours. They did not disappoint. We were so worried about photos as neither of us was looking forward to it, but we were made to feel so at ease and we are absolutely obsessed with every photo.

They take control of the situation at the wedding and ensure everything couples ask for is done beautifully. We had a great experience with Vicky and Phil, they are really friendly and adaptable when we ran late on the day. We had a great experience on the day and they got the photos to us really quickly.

Right from the beginning Vicky & Phil exceeded our expectations. When we met with them to discuss our wedding we instantly felt at ease. My husband is not comfortable in front of the camera and honestly from the photos you cannot tell! We had a huge amount of guests at our wedding and all the group shots felt seamless! Everyone of our guests has complimented how fantastic they are. On the day Phil spent the morning getting detail shots and then went to my husband. From what I’ve heard and can see in the photos they spent most of the morning laughing which is amazing as my husband was so nervous. Vicky was with me and thank goodness! My mum was too nervous and did my dress up wrong, Vicky to the rescue. Camera was down and she was doing my corset up in a flash! They made sure we were comfortable and when we needed to pose it was just so easy to understand what they needed from us! We are so over the moon with the quality of their work and just the overall experience with them. If you’re in doubt, BOOK! You cannot go wrong with Vicky and Phil they are just the most amazing people and team! I could honestly go on and on about our experience. We are already planning to go back for newborn shots if we are ever blessed with children!

We loved every minute of our wedding. Vicky and Phil were both so lovely from the minute they walked into the venue. They both were on hand to help with any questions at any point, Vicky helped with my children in the morning as it was quite hectic and they both were more than happy to offer advise where needed on anything.

A wonderful mix of professionalism and friendliness made them the perfect photographers for our our day. We weren't fans of having hundreds of staged photos as we prefer natural shots and we got what we asked for with some lovely pictures of ourselves and our guests enjoying the day.

They weren't at all intrusive and just blended in with the guests whilst working away and even helping us out with the small things such us getting button holes sorted at the church.

You can be safe in the knowledge these guys are looking after one of the most important elements of your special day and the only thing you'll need to worry about is what to do with so many fabulous photos.

Senior Mac are worth their weight in gold! We found Senior Mac via our wedding venue as they are a recommended supplier and I am so glad we did. Vicky and Phil were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process, from originally booking with them through to our wedding day. It's always a bit nerve wracking knowing you are having so many photos taken but Vicky and Phil put us at ease straight away. The whole process was an enjoyable, fun experience. We emphasised that we wanted a lot of candid photos, and boy did Senior Mac deliver! Not only did they manage to capture some beautiful photos of our guests, but they managed to get some real candid photos of us too, we laughed so much my cheeks hurt! Looking back at our photos in their personal studio with a nice glass of bubbles was also a lovely touch and our photos are honestly outstanding! Vicky and Phil are also very personable people who are very easy to get along with, which only made the whole process even easier! Senior Mac also do baby photography so you best believe we will be back when little ones come along!
