We got married at Rufford Mill in July 2025 on the most beautiful, sunny day. The venue was stunning, decorated beautifully and the team were so helpful and brilliant in the planning and execution of the day! We would highly recommend Rufford Mill to any couples looking for a perfect wedding venue!

From the very beginning, the staff were incredible—highly knowledgeable, attentive, and they made sure every detail was handled with care. The food was absolutely delicious, and the selection of wines and drinks was truly second to none. We’re already looking forward to returning for a feast night! What’s especially wonderful is how well-maintained the venue is; the decor is so naturally stunning that it speaks for itself. We hardly had to add a thing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our day.

My Wife, Imogen, and I got happily married on 1st September 2025 at the Pumping House. We found the venue on Hitched and we were immediately drawn to its industrial but classy aesthetic. Upon visiting, we knew it was 'the one' - it was spacious, elegant and had some really unique features, especially the themed rooms (games room especially was a hit!) and a fantastic mezzanine floor overlooking the main 'engine room' . Our events manager, Victoria, made us feel like nothing was too much trouble throughout the planning, with clear communication and speedy responses to our questions and ideas. We loved the food - a BBQ buffet for our Wedding Breakfast, and Chinese sweet and sour rice for the evening. The portions were really generous and the quality was outstanding, with some reasonably priced offerings on the list. The onsite accommodation was lovely, with ample room for our family and closest friends. The only downside was, we didn't have much time to enjoy the rooms! We got married on a Monday and this meant the accommodation wasn't available the night before (as there was another wedding), and we had to vacate the rooms by 10.30am the following morning. The breakfast the following morning was delicious too. We loved our time at the Pumping House and could not recommend the venue, or Victoria, more.

05-04-2026 was the day of our beautiful wedding. Claire is wonderful, her help leading up to the wedding was perfect. On the day, we got so much support, we didn't need to worry about anything, except just getting married. The whole experience has been amazing from start to finish, and I would highly recommend Kelham to anyone looking for a venue.

We had our wedding at The Pheasantry Brewery in December 2025, and it was honestly the most perfect experience from start to finish. The Pheasantry is such a gorgeous venue — full of character and charm — and what makes it so special is that you can truly make it your own. Whatever you’re dreaming of for your wedding day, I’m certain it’s possible here. Danielle and Dominique are truly the best in the business. Danielle was our wedding coordinator, and she was an absolute joy to work with. From our very first meeting, she listened so carefully to everything we wanted and made it all happen. We met with her a few times in person, and every single time she was warm, enthusiastic, and completely invested in our vision. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and on the day itself she brought everything together so seamlessly. She truly made our dream wedding come to life. As it was a two-bride wedding, it was especially important to us that certain moments felt personal and special — and Danielle and Dominique went above and beyond to ensure that. They made sure we didn’t see each other before the ceremony and gave each of us our own special moment, which meant the world to us. We both felt so cared for and celebrated individually as well as together. On the day, both Danielle and Dominique were everywhere — serving guests, coordinating suppliers, checking in on us, and making sure everything ran perfectly smoothly. Their presence was huge, and yet everything felt effortless. Danielle even drove us home at the end of the night when we had an issue with our transport! That alone shows the kind of people they are — they truly go above and beyond for their couples. The food was absolutely impeccable. So many of our guests commented on how incredible it was. We had a couple of guests with allergies, and the team catered for them so thoughtfully and carefully. Nothing was ever an issue, and everyone felt completely looked after. The entire catering team, including the waiting staff and bar staff, were wonderful — so polite, courteous, and professional throughout the day and evening. If you are trying to decide where to get married, please choose The Pheasantry. You will not be disappointed. It is the most special place, run by the most incredible people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so unbelievably special. We will truly never forget it. 🤍

The team at Thoresby Park were fantastic in the discovery, planning, setup and delivery of our wedding - big thank you to Natasha and the team for making it such an easy process and such a fantastic day! The team handled all our questions with clarity and patience, and really did the most to make the vision of our wedding reception come to life. We came the day before with our family to decorate the Riding Hall (which is already stunning with thousands of twinkling lights) and we had a lot of freedom to do what we wanted with the place. Our families also stayed on the on-site AirBnBs and had the best time. On the day, the secret garden had a lot of use from our guests, who enjoyed playing games with live music outside. Our three course meal was absolutely fabulous and everyone loved it (the chef went the extra mile and even made us two some béarnaise sauce for our roast even though it wasn’t very traditional!). Overall, we had a really special time and made some wonderful memories at Thoresby - we couldn’t recommend this place more highly for a wedding. (Photography by Will Lomas)

Excellent value for money, we definitely got our monies worth and then some. The barn is stunning and neutrally decorated which even suited our rustic/gothic wedding theme so it's really easy to decorate to your own taste. It is on a working farm site but the event area can be closed off to allow for safety and intimacy, throughout the event there wasn't once a disturbance from the farm. The food was absolutely delicious too, it was so hard to choose from their extensive dessert list but we opted for a sit-down BBQ with the sticky toffee pudding and lemon merigne roulade for the wedding breakfast and a small finger buffet later in the evening and everyone loved it! The accommodation (2 cottages) are perfectly cosy but spacious and stunning, we hope to return for a little anniversary break next year. The team are so lovely, laid back and helpful in every way, they worked with us every step of the way to make sure our day was everything we wanted and were all round just fantastic. I'd highly recommend their services for any event, their pricing is certainly competitive within the industry but we didn't find that we had to compromise on anything as a result of spending less. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the venue and the team throughout the stay and we are slightly gutted the day is over as it was just so wonderful ❤️

Luci and the team were fantastic, Luci recently joined the Kelham team and she was so organised, professional, proactive and in general a lovely person to have helping coordinate your big day! Luci, as well as the whole Kelham team ensured the day ran perfectly and they couldn’t do enough for us, constantly ensuring there was nothing else we needed, keeping us updated with the next steps for the day and lending a hand to our elderly guests where needed. The food was brilliant, with the chef accommodating the menu to suit our taste or the intolerances/allergies of the guests and even the cleaning staff made our day perfect by cleaning our welcome to the wedding mirror on the morning of the wedding - nothing more could have been done by the team! Would thoroughly recommend Kelham for your wedding, the staff are amazing and the venue itself is beautiful, the grounds are always kept tidy, and we got a lot of compliments from guests on how stunning the venue was.

Pam at Inkersall was a dream from start to finish. She helped us plan everything, was so calm and cool and kept the day going perfectly. She was open and upfront about pricing and availability, and talked us through suppliers and what would suit our vibe the best. Inkersall itself was the perfect venue for us. We booked it without actually physically seeing it, but when we did eventually get to see it in April we knew we had made the right choice. We wanted a festival wedding feel, to go with our Pagan ceremony. The barn was ideal for the ceremony and even though it was mega hot, the barn stayed cool and breezy throughout. There was lots of space to move around, it never felt cramped with guests and there was shade, sunny spots and a nice smoking area for the boys to have their cigars! The amenities were perfect and there was never a big queue for the loo - even with 100 guests! We also booked the Wranglers Den and the Shepherds Hut, and Yurts for evening guest accommodation. It all came together beautifully and I couldn't be more pleased with how it went. Thank you Pam and Inkersall for making our day so perfect.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are to all the team at Stubton for allowing us to have the most perfect wedding day! After being let down by our original venue very last minute for our New Year’s Eve wedding, Stubton very kindly opened their doors to us when they would usually be closed. From the very first look round we were made to feel so welcome and they made every effort to ensure we were able to have everything we wanted and more for our wedding day. Laura and the team were so kind all the way through the process, and on the day helped everything run perfectly. Stubton was the dream location for our New Years Eve party from the warm and cosy fireplaces to the perfect dancing space well into the night. I cannot recommend Stubton Hall enough and we wish we could do it all again!
