We had an amazing wedding aprille and the team couldnt do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We were looked after from the minute we arrived. The food was out of this world and our day was magical. We couldnt recommend this venue enough

I originally struggled finding venues for a smaller wedding, with a lot of venues looking like someone's house. For me, this venue was the standout from the start. Firstly the food is absolutely amazing, and I got so many complements from guests. The staff were so communicative from the start and they ensured the whole day flowed smoothly without any thoughts or stress on my part. I knew they would be great but they exceeded expectations thoroughly on the day :)

What can we say - Cuckney House is truly wonderful!! We recently had our wedding at the nearby Hazel Gap venue on the Welbeck estate and decided to stay at Cuckney House for the entire weekend with some of our friends and Family. The house was perfect. Not only is it extremely spacious and well thought out but it also allows for any occasion. We had a private chef and meal for 40 guests on the first night, followed by hair and make up prior to the wedding the day after, and finishing with a cosy chill out day in front of the fire post wedding. Ross and his team could not have done anymore to make our trip perfect. Cuckney House really did create the perfect wedding weekend - we have already started organising a trip back for our first anniversary with all our guests wanting to join us at the house again next year. If you are planning a wedding at Hazel Gap, staying at Cuckney really is a must!! Thanks to Ross and the team for being the best hosts.

We recently had our wedding at this incredible venue, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning of the planning process right through to the big day itself, everything was absolutely brilliant. The staff were outstanding – friendly, helpful, and highly professional throughout. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable. The venue grounds are simply stunning. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked, from the immaculate gardens to the charming setting overall. It really created the perfect backdrop for our special day. We’re so grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding unforgettable. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful setting with exceptional service.

I’m so gutted our wedding is over as our time planning with Shannon and the team was lovely, incredibly accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The day was fantastic and went smoothly and honestly wouldn’t have asked for anything more! I would choose Hodsock again and again x
