From our first visit to enquire about the venue we knew it was the venue for us. We were told in detail what was in our package which we really appreciated as we had a few bad experiences with previous venues with hidden costs! The build up to the wedding any questions we had were responded to really quickly and we felt we were able to contact them no matter how small a question. All of our family and friends were so impressed with the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet! We would also like to add a special thank you to Carmel and Jai who were just beyond incredible on the day!

We got married at Rufford Mill in July 2025 on the most beautiful, sunny day. The venue was stunning, decorated beautifully and the team were so helpful and brilliant in the planning and execution of the day! We would highly recommend Rufford Mill to any couples looking for a perfect wedding venue!

We got married at Rufford on 14th June 2025 .
Everything was just perfect from start to finish .
Carmel and Seana were just amazing , so flexible and had the day covered with every little fine detail that made our day so very special ! I didn’t have to think about anything !
The guests commented on how fabulous the venue looked . It was just perfect .
The venue , the food and staff were 5 star . The food was delicious . Carmel made sure all the guests were catered for and didn’t leave until the evening when the guests were partying .
We were able to get into the venue early to get it dressed which was brilliant . Carmel was on hand to check that everything was running smooth .
Carmel liaised with our photographer so that they were in sync with the agenda for the day , which was great .
Our photographs at the Abbey and inside the venue were so beautiful with so many special memories of the day .
The venue and the package I’d say were so important for me . You want it to look spectacular with a 5 star service - we got that and more !
A really big thank you to Carmel and Seana who took care of everything from start to finish . This was detrimental to our wedding day being amazing . It all went to plan because of their high standard , professionalism and attention to detail which is so hard to find now a days .

Our wedding day was simply perfect. The weather was great over the lovely scenery of the lake and historic buildings. We worked to a budget which the venue fulfilled. Every member of staff who worked on the day were great and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We even had our dogs attended which was one of the reasons for picking this venue.

From the moment we enquired, we knew this would be our venue!
We took the package and added the bridal suite on for the day too which is an amazing addition to the day! The bridal suite has two good sized rooms (lounge style where our flower girls got ready and we had food, and then a room with a large mirror and two mirrors for getting ready, makeup mirrors) there is also a shower room which is hugely beneficial!
The coordinator Seana was the greatest part of the package because she supported all our planning, helped with my allergies and was with us every step of the way! She was particularly supportive with me as we got married at 28 weeks pregnant!
The food was gorgeous! And the evening buffet has plenty for all your guests!
If you want a package wedding with great scenery, amazing staff and beautiful food then Rufford is for you!

Rufford Mill was the perfect venue for our wedding. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the team made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. Everything ran so smoothly on the day—we didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment.
Our guests were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and how well everything was organised. It was exactly the backdrop we had dreamed of for our big day.

This venue was amazing. Carmel and Séana couldn't have done more for us. They made us feel very relaxed, both before and on the day, and really took care of us. Hazel, who was in charge of us in the evening, was also lovely and helpful - the bar staff even fixed my glasses last minute so I could dance the night away!

They were fantastic with food preferences and dietary requirements, very helpful with our table settings and making the venue look absolutely stunning, and nothing we could've asked for was any trouble.

I've had so many comments in the last few days about the food being A+

10/10, I would recommend to anyone looking for a great wedding team, in a beautiful old location, with brilliant food for a very affordable price.

From the first visit to Rufford and making the booking with a year to the big day, Carmel and her team were excellent at guiding and advising on all things we needed to know. Having the bridal suite available was such a bonus as it enabled the bridal party to get ready and step outside into the Courtyard where visitors to the park gathered to watch. The turnaround of the Talbot suite from ceremony to reception went smoothly and guests had the opportunity for photos and then we had canapés and welcome drinks before the fabulous 3 course meal and lovely wine. After the evening celebrations the staff helped box the gifts and wedding cake etc and even helped load the car, a fantastic team.

My best friend of 20 years got engaged at this location she had no idea I remember being an eight-year-old kid playing at the park and now we're both at adults I can't believe it time flies I can't wait to go wedding dress shopping with her I'm going to differing wedding venues and all the wedding planning adventures

We had our wedding at this incredible venue last week, and we truly can't express how amazing the experience was. The entire team went above and beyond to make our day flawless. The transitions between the ceremony and reception spaces were seamless, and everything flowed effortlessly. We didn’t have to worry about a single detail, thanks to Séana’s expert guidance. She led us through the day with such grace and professionalism, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

This venue is a fabulous setting for any wedding, our day was perfect from start to finish.
Communication from the very beginning from the team was amazing and they went above and beyond to make our day a special one.
We had the bridal suite in the morning and I would definitely recommend doing this, lovely quality time with all of my bridesmaids.
It was a rainy day as we got married on the 7th sep this year but this did not ruin a thing in fact, it just added to our beautiful story.
The food was absolutely out of this world both dinner and evening buffet, everyone commented on how nice it was.
The downstairs room was great for the evening reception and the team have done a great job with the decor, I needed to bring very little decor for that room as it looked so nice.
A special thanks has to go to Seana for all of your support with organising and coordinating the day, you were great and just what we had hoped for.
Amazing venue, amazing food and amazing people to help it run smoothly.
I would highly recommend, I just wish we could do it all over again.
