Nestled in beautiful countryside that has been in the King family for two generations, Kings Acre offers a peaceful retreat just six miles from Edinburgh’s vibrant city centre—an ideal setting for your wedding day.

Our elegantly restored sandstone clubhouse features a bright conservatory and a panoramic function suite with stunning views across the golf course. The outlook onto our signature 18th hole, the “Last Splash,” framed by a large pond and fountain, provides a memorable backdrop for photographs.

We offer a variety of versatile spaces to suit celebrations of all sizes:

Function Suite

Spacious and light-filled, the Function Suite accommodates over 100 guests and overlooks the rolling greens of the course. The high ceiling is designed to enhance acoustics, making it an excellent setting for a live band or DJ. This suite can host both your ceremony and evening reception, with our team managing a seamless room turnaround. During transitions, your guests can relax in the adjoining conservatory and lounge.

Conservatory & Lounge

The conservatory provides a bright, inviting space ideal for intimate gatherings and private dining. Nearby, the lounge and spikes bar offer comfortable seating, stylish décor, and large screens—perfect for displaying photographs or slideshows throughout your celebration.

We also have a charming on-site cottage available to rent, providing a convenient and cosy accommodation option for part of your wedding party.
