Facilities and Capacity

Emmetts on Exmoor is a historical sight to behold as one of the moors' most treasured farms. After entering the treelined driveway, you'll be greeted by rustic buildings, stables, and a choice of spaces to host your festivities. The threshing barn provides seating options for up to 80 people and sits within a charming traditional courtyard. The barn can be dressed to suit individual tastes much as a marquee can be and has a naturally intimate atmosphere. Featuring high-quality audio and visual equipment, you can display photo slideshows, customise the lighting, and play your favourite music. The rhododendron garden is near the main residence and ideal for photographs with a moorland backdrop or drinks and canapes on arrival. The walled garden lawn and kitchen garden will be available for daytime use from the summer of 2024. Emmetts has three on-site accommodation options, which sleep 22 guests across 10 bedrooms. Camping on the farm is another option for larger numbers, and the staff can recommend several local hotels and bed and breakfasts.
