We recently celebrated our wedding at The Old Hall Ely in April, and it could not have been more perfect. We were fortunate with the weather, which allowed us to hold our ceremony in the beautiful outdoor pavilion, surrounded by the most stunning views. The rooms are absolutely charming, with every detail thoughtfully presented, and the entire venue is truly breathtaking. The staff were generally nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and professional, making the day run smoothly and effortlessly. All of our guests commented on how lovely both the venue and the staff were, which really added to the joy of our special day. There were just a few minor mishaps along the way. We arrived the night before to find no cot in our room, despite having made the team aware of this since we booked while I was still pregnant. On the day itself, a communication slip-up meant the staff were at the opposite end of the venue with my bouquet, so I ended up walking down the aisle without it! They also briefly played the wrong playlist at the beginning of dinner. However, the team was quick to rectify things where they could, and their overall warmth more than made up for these small blips. The Old Hall Ely is a dream wedding venue, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect setting combined with outstanding service. *Photos by Embrace Photography

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, Poets house fits the bill The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is the backdrop to Ely Cathedral which makes it even more special. The rooms and honeymoon sweet and groomsman flat were decorated beautifully, making our day even more memorable. Sara worked tirelessly to ensure everything was spot on for our big day and we cannot thank her enough for making it so special. Christine oversaw all the events leading up to the big day and ensured that anything we wanted was sorted. Sara, Christine and the team at Poets house were simply outstanding. Notwithstanding how amazing the food and service was on the night as well! Could not recommend this vendor enough. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Thank you to all involved in making our day so special.

The most beautiful place to get married 😊 Staff where absolutely amazing from start to finish nothing was an issue for them 🥰 Arrived Friday to set up having the whole weekend defiantly made the difference Kelly was on hand for what ever we needed , could not have gone smoother ( and I am a stress head ) Wedding day 💝 had a visit from Kelly in the morning to check how we all was she 100% kept my nerves at bay , unfortunately the weather was a little wet before the ceremony so Kelly arrived to pick us up in her beautiful car 🤭 Ceremony was beautiful Welcome drinks and canapés - an absolute dream The food was amazing couldn’t fault a thing ! We had an issue with my grandad falling but the team was brilliant ! Sunday the most relaxing day , drinks in the hot tub and well needed family time Met by Kelly on Monday to check everything and everyone was okay just added the extra touch Such a beautiful weekend and wedding Thank you rosewood ❣️

We had an absolutely incredible day at Chippenham Park. The ground were absolutely immaculate - and the grass was beautifully green - everything is so well look after and all of our guests were complimenting us on the venue. Nothing was too much to ask - Becky was an absolutely fantastic coordinator and meant that the day ran as smoothly as it possibly could - nothing was out of place, and everything was in hand. There is an exclusive caterer at Chippenham which we were initially a little apprehensive about, though the quality of food and service was next level, and we again had so many compliments on this. Drinks were never empty! Cannot recommend Chippenham enough, we truly had the most magical day there. Excellent value for money (especially as we got married on a Monday) and we cannot wait to return to the open gardens and a trip to the cafe.
