The Old Hall is just so magical! We knew we wanted to get married here from just the pictures, then we met all the staff and they are so wonderful, our wedding day just went so smoothly and my partner and I could enjoy the day as we knew everyone had everything under control! We have had so many compliments from our guests saying how amazing the staff, the venue and the grounds were! We are very lucky to get married here I would pick this venue again and again!

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, Poets house fits the bill The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is the backdrop to Ely Cathedral which makes it even more special. The rooms and honeymoon sweet and groomsman flat were decorated beautifully, making our day even more memorable. Sara worked tirelessly to ensure everything was spot on for our big day and we cannot thank her enough for making it so special. Christine oversaw all the events leading up to the big day and ensured that anything we wanted was sorted. Sara, Christine and the team at Poets house were simply outstanding. Notwithstanding how amazing the food and service was on the night as well! Could not recommend this vendor enough. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Thank you to all involved in making our day so special.

The most beautiful place to get married 😊 Staff where absolutely amazing from start to finish nothing was an issue for them 🥰 Arrived Friday to set up having the whole weekend defiantly made the difference Kelly was on hand for what ever we needed , could not have gone smoother ( and I am a stress head ) Wedding day 💝 had a visit from Kelly in the morning to check how we all was she 100% kept my nerves at bay , unfortunately the weather was a little wet before the ceremony so Kelly arrived to pick us up in her beautiful car 🤭 Ceremony was beautiful Welcome drinks and canapés - an absolute dream The food was amazing couldn’t fault a thing ! We had an issue with my grandad falling but the team was brilliant ! Sunday the most relaxing day , drinks in the hot tub and well needed family time Met by Kelly on Monday to check everything and everyone was okay just added the extra touch Such a beautiful weekend and wedding Thank you rosewood ❣️

We had the most perfect day at Chippenham Park for our wedding of around 125 people. The venue has stunning and vast gardens (for which the guests will only be able to scratch the surface) and a beautiful permanent fixed marquee by a lake. Civil ceremonies can be held there both indoors and outdoors, but equally, there is a beautiful church in the village within walking distance of the venue. The venue’s relationship with Crown Catering Cambridge works well, and many of our guests remarked that it was the best food and service they’ve experienced at a wedding. Generally, Beccy and the team at Chippenham give you a lot of flexibility to craft your perfect day, and are very accommodating. The logistics on the day ran so smoothly, including when we fell behind schedule - the team reacted so well and moved things round cleverly, dealing with it all with consummate professionalism. As well as the bridal suite, there are 5 more rooms on site for others to stay in, with breakfast provided the next morning. In short: faultless service and the most beautiful venue.
