We were very impressed with the lovely house and the other amenities Duxford Lodge has to offer for weddings. Lucy and her team were very helpful in arranging every aspect of the wedding we were hoping for. They were always available for meetings, phone calls or emails, and allowed us the flexibility we wanted. We were lucky with amazing weather on the day so were able to take advantage of the lovely gardens. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about how lovely they thought the wedding was.

Emma, Victoria and the whole team and The Three Hills were simply amazing. They helped adapt the wedding package to our needs and kept in regular and clear communicaiton during the planning stages. They went above and beyond to make the day simply perfect, and all the details and effort was what made it. The venue itself is stunning, and even at the end of October we were able to have our wedding under the canopy outside (alongside heaters and beautiful sheep skin rugs to keep everyone warm). The food was INCREDIBLE and overall we can't say enough about what an amazing experience it was. If you are looking for a more intimate wedding day, look no further!

We had our wedding reception at Poets House 🥳. I want to express my gratitude to the whole team at Poets, you guys were truly amazing and so so attentive and helpful. I have been planning all the wedding day details with Sara, Poets' events manager, for the past 15 months, and she was always so great at responding to emails quickly, answering ALLLLLL of my questions, sharing various ideas etc. Her manager, Christine, was always available too when needed. On the day itself everything went super smoothly as the Poets team was just incredible. They were able to anticipate our and our guests' every need, they handled any small unexpected hiccups swiftly etc. I absolutely love this cosy little venue, it is so so beautiful and classy and it was exactly the wedding vibe we were going for. I received so many compliments from all our guests about how beautiful the venue was. The wedding breakfast itself was delicious too, and the portions were huge! I wanted to separately mention another gentleman, Andres (I apologize for the spelling in advance), he was responsible for us from the start of the reception and until the very last minute - he was phenomenal, what a truly caring, professional, super attentive person. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. IT WAS A MAGICAL DAY 🤩and we won't forget it. We will be coming back for a nice dinner for sure ❤🤩

Amazing service and gorgeous wedding venue! I love Hotel du Vin. It’s so elegant and packed with character with genuinely, friendly and helpful staff. We recently got married at used HDV for our reception. We were blown away by the service. Especially Martina who ran the whole show from pre-planning, to setting up our decorations, to right at the end of the night where she was still ever present checking we were all well catered for. There was also Amara who was an absolute delight during the meal tending to everyone’s needs with grace and warmth. There we so many more great people though including the waiting staff, reception staff, bar staff and everyone else!

We got married at The Red Lion in May 2023. We had an amazing experience every step of the way. Alice, who helped us plan our special day, was amazing. She supported us, she went above and beyond to make sure we had the day we wanted. The Venue is beautiful The Food is Delicious The Rooms are comfortable We got the Wedding we wanted. Everything was perfect!

Thank you seems such an insignificant word to really relay to you all just how much we appreciate all that you and your staff did for us over the two days of our stay with you. From the beginning of us organising our wedding you have all been fantastic, but our wedding day with you and your staff was absolutely faultless. Your help and kindness is something both Alan and I will never forget. I for one would not of coped without you and Liam. He is an absolute star and absolutely did what he says he would do. Throughout the day and evening he constantly checked with me and Alan to make sure we were happy and relaxed and needed for nothing. Anything we asked was delivered within seconds and never once did he show that our requests were anything but the norm. He must and should be a valued member of your team he really is a special person. What a fantastic team. Our guests were overwhelmed by the setting and the effort that you all put in to ensure each and every one of them enjoyed our day. And you Avril I cannot thank you enough for all you had to put up with, with me asking stupid questions and getting you to pace the distance? What was I thinking lol and then when my beautiful daughters contacted you to help deliver what they wanted to do for us you went all out to ensure it happened I don’t think many people or places would of been so accommodating and to have my Dad there while I danced to his song will be something I will always treasure and will always be grateful to you for that.

From start to finish, this venue are incredible! Throughout the planning stages, the wedding coordinators met with us regularly to go through everything we needed. Helen was absolutely amazing and nothing seemed like too much trouble (even when we made some errors, she handled them incredibly well!) On the day, nothing was too much hassle and every member of staff was incredible. From Helen who coordinated us, the guests and the staff. There were people lining the corridors as the bride came down to the ceremony room so the groom could not see through the windows. The bar staff were so friendly and accommodated everyone so well. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how nice it was. Every single thing went perfectly well. We had access to the room the night before and had help setting up and packing away. A truly magnificent venue. Faultless!

Great hotel full of history wonderful staff who are professional, personable and happy. We had a small wedding here and the staff from point of booking to the end of event were wonderful.

Thanks to all the hard working and understanding staff we had the best 2 to 3 days for our wedding, Leon , Sam,Roy and all the waiters bar staff cooks cleaners and everyone else that works here deserves a medal. The food for the wedding breakfast was outstanding as was the breakfasts and lunches we ate, the amount of running around for us they did was fantastic and always with a smile , thank you to all the staff...
