We booked the Parlour at Blagdon for our August 2025 wedding and would definitely recommend it!
The venue is lovely, with rustic style buildings and a courtyard in the middle. The bridal suite in the cottage has recently been renovated, it’s beautiful with a large dressing room attached to it. The staff were very organised at every stage of the process. The food tasted great and the portions were generous. Their variety of wedding packages offers flexibility and there are budget friendly options available. We would recommend The Parlour at Blagdon. 5 stars.

The Parlour at Blagdon was the perfect wedding venue for us. One of the things that first drew us in was how reasonable the autumn/winter pricing was — it opened up options we never expected to have, without compromising on anything. The layout was another huge selling point. Having the Ceremony Room, Stables Bar and Breakfast Room all surrounding the courtyard worked brilliantly. And with the hottest (temperature-wise!) groom in the world, having an easy way to pop outside and cool off was absolutely essential!

In the lead-up to the wedding, we had regular meetings and communication with the team. They were always professional, organised, honest and extremely helpful. If we ever had a question, they were quick to respond, and it always felt like everything was under control.

On the day, the staff were incredible — so calm, so efficient, and so reassuring. Everything ran like absolute clockwork from start to finish. Anne (I may need to double-check the name!) led the day with such confidence and experience that we instantly knew we were in safe hands. Instructions were clear, timings were spot on and they kept the whole show moving without ever once making us feel rushed.

The food was even better than our tasting day — and we loved the tasting! Portions were generous (especially the meat!), everything was piping hot and one of Lauren’s sisters said the food was “so good we didn’t deserve it.” All three courses were genuinely outstanding. In the evening we chose the woodfired pizzas, initially advertised as 90 minutes unlimited. We were a bit sceptical about whether guests would actually get enough, but the team went above and beyond — making pizzas to take away for guests who were too full to eat straight away. People went home delighted (and slightly wobbly) with boxes of wood-fired goodness.

If there was one comment from guests, it was that the bar prices were a little high — not unusual for a wedding venue and absolutely didn’t affect our experience. Everything else more than made up for it.

Our guests absolutely loved the venue. They said it was accessible (not miles into the countryside like some), beautifully decorated, and had that perfect balance of charm and practicality. The outdoor spaces were a huge hit too.

The staff went above and beyond throughout the day. When the cake started to topple, they consulted Lauren and quickly rearranged it next to the cake pops. When the stylist accidentally placed a few people in the wrong seats, the team corrected everything without fuss. And the next morning all of our items were boxed neatly and placed together ready for collection. Their efficiency took so much stress away from us.

The venue has evolved since we first booked — the new pizza shack and the updated bridal prep room were very welcome additions that lifted the space even more. Everything looked beautiful, worked perfectly for photographs, and felt polished without being pretentious.

Another huge relief was how well the Parlour coordinated with all our suppliers. They already had everyone’s details and led the communication. They’ve clearly worked with our photographers, magician and stylist many times before — everything flowed beautifully because the whole team were on the same wavelength.

For us, The Parlour is as close to a perfect venue as you can get.

All the things that could go wrong on a wedding day… none of them did. And we don’t believe that was luck — it was the incredible team at The Parlour keeping everything running flawlessly behind the scenes.

The parlour were great every step of our planning journey. Any issues that came up were resolved in a timely manner and the staff were so attentive and kind on the day. Everything ran smoothly and we had the best wedding day!

We chose the parlour as it suited our smaller wedding with a lower minimum spend budget . The value was great food was amazing every guest was so impressed. Plentiful food and drink and the service was amazing from start to finish from the sales teams all the way to those that were there on the day . Emma and Jess were always in response to emails and calls with questions and help and made the booking process and the plan so easy . They offered great advice!

Alison and Paul on the wedding day were brilliant . Alison helped calm all our jittery nerves , effortless and professional . Always an eye on the event and us to make sure us and the guests were well looked after. The event was smooth and controlled perfectly. We had a couple guests have an accident , of their own fault, and Alison and Paul were at hand straight away even offering a lift to the hospital. Again so calming and professional. The venue is gorgeous . We know of a couple who got married there in the winter and it's just as beautiful. The chefs where amazing , food was to die for.
Honestly, if you are really wanting an intimate , no fuss , chilled but beautiful day look no further! Thank you to all involved at The Parlour, you are all worth your weight in gold !

We got married at The Parlour in August and we had the most perfect day! The venue is absolutely stunning and great value for money, especially with the newly added dressing room. We had excellent communication throughout the planning stage and staff were happy to answer all of my silly questions.

We were fortunate enough to stay the night before our wedding and staff were on hand for anything we needed. Our day ran absolutely seemlessly, Alison and her team could not have done more for us. They truly went above and beyond and yet didn’t seem to interfere with the day at all. Alison and her team were also around the following morning when we had breakfast to check everything had been ok and to help pack up.

I truly can’t recommend the parlour enough 🤍

It all went fantastically, just no one around the next morning to say thank you to, we were just left to carry out all our stuff. Would've been nice to finish the experience.

I cannot recommend the Parlour highly enough as a wedding venue. The staff, the venue, the service, everything was just perfect! I want to give a special mention to Rosanne. She was absolutely wonderful and I cannot thank her enough for making our day run smoothly. I wish we could do it all over again

My Fiancé and I fell in love with the Parlour as soon as we saw it, booked our wedding in February this year and were married in July, which was a very short time to get it all arranged, but the coordinators made everything easy for us, were always enthusiastic and helpful and were determined to make our day as special as possible. No request was too much and the day itself went flawlessly thanks in large to the managers who were on the ball, reminded us of what needed to happen at each stage and made sure we were happy and relaxed. The other staff members were also friendly and helpful throughout and the food was amazing. We really couldn't have asked for a better day and were sad when it was over! We would recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The team at the parlour were amazing! From start to finish they made the whole process stress free! On the day any concerns I had were dealt with promptly, the lovely lady we had on the day made sure I was okay and looked after my little girl as if she was her own ! Honestly could not recommend this place anymore, staff are lovely, polite, accommodating, friendly and the venue is GORGEOUS!

The Parlour at Blagdon was just right for our wedding. It was everything we were looking for and we knew straight away that this was the venue for us. It gave us such a cosy and magical feel.

But what truly made our day perfect was the amazing staff. They did more than we could ask for, showing great care and kindness. From easy planning to everything going smoothly on the day, every small part was handled with great attention. They knew what we needed, making our ideas come true with nice touches.

The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone loved every bite. After dinner, the party really got started, and we all danced the night away, making memories that will last forever.

Our guests were also very happy with the caring and friendly service. The Parlour at Blagdon isn't just a lovely place; it's where wishes come true, thanks to a team that really cares about making your day special. We truly suggest it for a wonderful experience.

We booked our wedding at the Parlour at Blagdon 2 years prior our day, all staff was professional, responsive and friendly every time we had questions or requests, they also make any effort possible to agree with some of my requests that have been different than usual wedding, they were amazing on everything during the organisation. The day of the wedding it was something extraordinary, if till that moment we were already happy and confident that everything will be perfect, the day of the wedding they really increased our expectations, everything was more than perfect, the food was amazing and well presented, the staff was super in every sense, nothing went wrong during the day, we couldn't ask for nothing better than this. We are very happy for choosing The Parlour at Blagdon as location for our wedding on the 22/05/2025 and we really recommend this place to everyone, thank you so much to all the staff because our wedding was amazing and perfect.

My partner and I were married at the Parlour at the end of March this year and couldn’t recommend it enough.
Whilst planning the wedding we met with Naomi and more recently Toyah and they’re absolutely wonderful at helping you plan your day and making sure everything runs smoothly.
The food on the day was absolutely incredible and we received so many compliments from guests about the food and how beautiful the venue was.
Can’t remember the name of the lady who was coordinator on the day of our wedding (she did have light blonde hair) but we couldn’t recommend her enough, she was absolutely amazing at talking us through the day and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The full event ran smoothly and we couldn’t fault anything, everyone went above and beyond to make the day special.
The bridal suite and dressing room were so beautiful and spacious and look great since the refurbishments.

It’s hard to put into words just how much we enjoyed our wedding at The Parlour. The whole thing from start to finish was outstanding, all due to the professionalism, dedication and sheer hard work by the staff of The Parlour. Nothing was too much right to the very end of the day when we retired to the immaculate accommodation and they continued with their duties. We were met the next morning with a full and hearty breakfast before departing. Everyone and I mean everyone sang their praises for the arrangements, the outstanding food and service. I don’t intend to marry again but at breakfast we did discuss our first wedding anniversary celebrations and decided on a venue - The Parlour.

We got married in November 24 and had the most amazing day! Thank you so much to Naomi for putting up with our endless questions and for putting us at ease on the lead up to our day! Max was amazing on the day and really helped calm our nerves, thank you for being a part of our day! The venue was beautiful as was the food, our guests were so impressed with everything and all of the little details. The grounds were perfect for taking pictures and the bridal suite was a perfect place to get ready and take a moment before the day. The resident dj and the rest of the staff on the day were absolutely lovely! We look back at our day with such fondness and the venue was a big part of it!

Where to start, we fell in love with this venue from the initial show around we knew we wanted to get married here all the contact for the venue was dealt throught the brilliant sale team who help us with all our questions and enquiries once the day of the wedding come all the amazing staff were to there to help with anything that we needed would just like to say a big hats off to the chefs the food was amazing and especially they accommodated us especially me and my husband who are really fussy Eaters all our guests complimented the food how brilliant it was especially the wood fire pizzas they were to die for. We had an outside area they had heaters to keep our guests warm especially for a cold January wedding I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to book it is stunning
