Hawthbush Farm is a relaxed and beautifully rural wedding venue set within 140 acres of organic farmland, ancient woodland and wildflower meadows in the East Sussex countryside.

We’re not a traditional, polished wedding venue – and that’s exactly the point. Hawthbush is for couples looking for somewhere natural, informal and full of character, where they can create a celebration that genuinely feels like their own.

Say your vows in our licensed woodland ceremony space, surrounded by trees and countryside, before heading back to the farm for drinks and celebrations. Our rustic barn can seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast, with a stretch tent, outdoor seating and a huge firepit providing plenty of space to eat, drink and relax outside.

As home to the award-winning Gun Brewery, great beer is naturally part of life at Hawthbush. Alongside our own craft beers, we work with selected local vineyards and suppliers, with plenty of flexibility when it comes to food, drink and making the day your own.

We want couples to feel at home at Hawthbush, with the freedom and flexibility to put their own stamp on the space and create a wedding that reflects them.

For couples who want to make a weekend of it, our converted farm cottages and private glamping site can accommodate up to 40 guests on the farm. You can even extend the celebrations with Friday night drinks or a relaxed Sunday get-together at our brewery taproom.
