Weddings at Hawthbush are a relaxed and magical affair
We only do a handful of weddings each year and only one wedding each weekend so there is a relaxed and special pace. We dress the barn for you with bunting and festoons but if you want to add your own touches thats fine and you can come on Friday and set up in a relaxed environment. You have exclusive use of the venue for the whole of Saturday until midnight and then on Sunday until noon.
Woodland blessing space and licensed barn
Our charming event barn is licensed for you to have your legal ceremony here on the farm as is our magical, outdoor woodland clearing.
Locally sourced food, drink and live music
After your ceremony, our wedding barn, The Grain Store will seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast. We have a beautiful stretch tent with straw bales and a huge outdoor iron firepit which we keep lit for you and a great soundsystem which you can plug into or bring your own live music, which can play on until midnight.
Your guests can relax outside under our stunning stretch tent and enjoy a glass from our onsite Gun Brewery & Tap Rooms and selected local vineyards.
Make the fun last, stay with us for the weekend
To make your weekend even more special there is a collection of beautifully converted farm cottages available on the farm which you can take for the weekend. For 2025 are delighted to be offering a exclusive hire glamp site with bell tents and shepherds huts, sleeping 20 guests. Hot tubs, showers and a communal indoor space make this a wonderful option for onsite accommodation.
There are also a number of local campsites, holiday cottages and hotels that we can recommend for your guests. Why not book a table at our onsite taproom for fabulous street food, beer and wine on the Friday night or Sunday lunch?

No other venue can compare
Hawthbush were the second venue we visited and after that we didn’t need to see another.
They were adaptable to our various needs, and made their venue so we could make our wedding our own and genuinely made us feel special as a bride and groom. So many places churn out weddings and make you pick their packages whereas Hawthbush allow movement and room for you to make your day how you want it.
From the get go Bella was fab, always responsive to messages and laying out when payments and different things needed confirming. They work with their brewery and it means you get a fantastic variety of beer rather than the usual warm Amstel and it just lifts the mood.
On the day they were first class and made sure everything was adaptable as timings slipped and made each possible issue seem like no bother.
Organising a wedding with 150 guests is hard but Hawthbush made it seem so easy.
The ceremony area is a fairytale dreamland to get married in, the barn and fields are perfect for photos. I cried with joy the first time I saw the venue, and the photos and memories we made from our day are something we will treasure forever and I will continue to cry with joy that we got to get married there!
The on site accommodation is superb, we had friends that would never usually camp LOVE glamping and it was all better than described! The hamlet, and barn were also superb!
I don’t think we could have found a better venue for us if we’d hunted through a million more.
