Russell did our wedding photography recently, and we could not be happier with the results! He's such a great guy, easy to chat to and share ideas with, but also knows when to take charge and tell you what to do. He's very inclusive of everyone, got chatting to a lot of our wedding guests, but was also never in the way or intrusive. This is the second time Russell has worked with our family, he did my sister's wedding 11 years ago, and he didn't disappoint on either event. I would recommend him to anyone who's willing to listen to me!

We chose Russell to photograph our 25th wedding anniversary celebration and couldn’t be happier with the results.

Having been wedding and portrait photographers ourselves, we knew exactly what we didn’t want — a day dominated by posing and a checklist of standard wedding shots. We wanted the photography to be natural, unobtrusive and completely free-flowing, allowing us to simply enjoy the day.

Russell understood that perfectly.

He captured not just the big moments, but the emotion, humour and little interactions happening around us — some joyous, some deeply moving. There are photographs that gave us a completely different perspective on our own celebration and moments we simply wouldn’t have known happened without him.

Russell was an absolute pleasure to have with us, and the final photographs exceeded our expectations. If you value natural, documentary-style photography that genuinely tells the story of a day rather than simply recording what people looked like, we can’t recommend him highly enough.

Russell was just Perfect throughout the whole day. very approachable and professional. He seamlessly went from candid to organised photos, checking in with us before hand and throughout the day what we wanted and what his ideas were. We can't thank Russell enough. We gave him very minimal direction, with the only request being a great photo of us with our children, and he delivered not only that, but also fantastic shots of our friends and family.

Russell was absolutely brilliant as our wedding photographer. He managed to capture the magic of our day beautifully, taking a mixture of formal photos and more candid moments. Russell was the best wedding photographer we could of asked for! From booking to our engagement shoot to the run up to the wedding Russell was brilliant with all contact and was so good and getting us to relax and have fun! His knowledge and help on the wedding day was unmatched helping with the little details you'd never think of to not just to help our photographs but to also help our day run smoothly. We were lucky enough to have Russell Lewis as our photographer for our wedding at Hampton Court Castle on 18th March 2026, and from start to finish, he exceeded every expectation we had.

We first met Russell when he took our daughters’ nursery pictures, and it was clear straight away how friendly, warm, and approachable he is.

From the very first wedding planning meeting, he put us completely at ease and gave us a clear vision of how our day would flow. We felt confident knowing exactly how the day would be captured.

On the wedding morning, he arrived at the crack of dawn to photograph myself and my bridesmaids getting ready. Russell’s professionalism stood out immediately — he was smartly dressed, calm, and incredibly organised. He went above and beyond throughout the day, helping me with my dress, assisting the groom and groomsmen with their ties and finishing touches, and working seamlessly with the venue layout to capture everything perfectly.

Russell’s warmth and easygoing nature made everything feel effortless, and everyone commented on how amazing, professional, and personable he was. He truly helped keep the day running smoothly while capturing every special moment we could ever wish to relive.

The photos themselves are absolutely stunning — genuinely everything and more than we could have hoped for. We booked Russell to be the photographer for our wedding in March at the Park House Hotel in Shifnal.

From our first consultation I knew we’d made the right decision! He was so easy to talk to and made us feel really comfortable.

On the day he was just brilliant. He had such a nice manner and managed to get our family and friends exactly where they needed to be effortlessly - not an easy task!

We received the link to the photos (full sets in colour and black and white) within a week and we were absolutely blown away. Not only do we have a collection of beautiful elegant photos but we also have great shots of everyone having so much fun, which really captured the essence of the day.

Russell exceeded all of our expectations and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Russell was absolutely amazing from the moment we first contacted him. He’s so calm and easy to work (at all times) which I can only assume comes with years of experience.

I forgot to confirm the booking for our legal wedding the day before our big celebration (I won’t claim to be the most organised bride) and he dropped everything last minute to be there to capture our signing ceremony. Such dedication!!!
