The Haybarn

We could not be more happy that we picked the haybarn for our wedding! My now husband and I only got engaged a year ago which came as a complete surprise to me so we wasn't sure what type of wedding wed like. We're both very outdoorsy, enjoy camping and physical activities. We were unsure if we wanted to elope as neither of us like much fuss but we also didn't want to miss out on the experience of viewing venues. We viewed 4 venues in total the haybarn being our last. We were shown around by Emma and her Dad, Will and we knew pretty quickly this was the only place we could get married. Being a working farm and family business just felt so much more personal and relaxed. The family had a truly invested interest in providing the most perfect service but also boasted with pride with what they had created.
On our second and third visit my parents also viewed the venue who both thought we too would have eloped but knew straight away why we didn't. The Haybarn really is a feeling not a place. Almost like a home from home. You feel instantly relaxed which we felt was priceless for a wedding.
From booking to the day of the wedding, Becca and Emma were easily contactable, providing reassurance and guidance when needed.
They were able to get our favourite drink (a Bristol ale) for the drinks reception which was a really special touch.
We arrived the day before the wedding with our family and friends and dressed the venue how we wanted it. The main reason we picked the haybarn was because you could quite literally do nothing and it would still be perfect but it was such a lovely experience getting to dress the tables and cartshed with our friends and family. After this we walked to the local chip shop and had a pint in the pub opposite! The local village was so quaint and lovely to visit the night before.
Being only 3 steps from the ceremony on the wedding morning was honestly perfect having no travel stress.
We were so excited to know people's opinions of driving down their breathtaking driveway, knowing the experience starts then!
The morning of the wedding Emma made a special effort to come find me and see how I was feeling and if we had any questions or worries which we did not.
After the ceremony Emma was the one to present us with our first drinks and first to congratulate us which was really lovely. Throughout the drinks reception the haybarn staff ensured both my husband and I were well looked after.
My husbands Mum had a dress malfunction and the lovely woman managing the wonky donkey managed to find needle and thread for her to fix the dress, highlighting nothing was too much effort.
The staff honestly couldn't do enough and everyone said how friendly and helpful they all were and how they had never experienced a service like it. It felt like we were staying with extended family hosting us for the weekend!

The games on the lawn were a huge hit during the drinks reception. And the fire pit in the evening was perfect for the men of the party. My husband is often out camping most weekends in the summer around a fire so he felt completely at ease catching up with friends whilst I was able to let my hair down on the dance floor. My husbands 18 month year old niece also loved the experience with the chickens and donkeys. It felt like such a safe space for kids with so much space to run around, no roads but always in sight.
The Haybarn honestly had everything you could possibly want. So much so my best friends partner said he wanted to get married there (he is yet to propose) which I think is the biggest praise you could give!
We were only a party size of 30 and although the barn can hold so much more it was honestly perfect for us so please don't let the size of the venue make you think any party size is too small! They're very clever at arranging the tables and seating to suit your visions.
Some people say they regret money spent or not eloping after getting married but we have absolutely no regrets and are so glad we chose the haybarn to celebrate our love and would choose it every time over.

We looked around a few wedding venues but we both just immediately knew the Haybarn was the most special place, from seeing the ceremony shed by the river, to the views of the surrounding countryside to Albert & Blossom and the chickens pottering about. We were really lucky to have Emma as our co-ordinator, she's very organised, detail-focused and patient. The wedding weekend itself blew us away, it felt a real privilege to stay on site on the idyllic family farm in the Herefordshire countryside with our close family and friends coming round for a barbecue in the sunshine the evening before. Getting ready and setting up the day before/morning of was so fun and exciting, this was again down in huge part to Emma and the team who were so helpful/calm in organising and prepping everything behind the scenes and liaising with our vendors.
During the day, we always felt supported by Emma & team and never time-pressured. Seeing all our favourite people relaxing and having a great time playing lawn games in the sunshine with drinks flowing from the donkey bar and a saxophone playing in the background was the best feeling.
So many of our guests told us what a special place it felt. The whole weekend was extraordinary, thank you again, Beth and James

We got married at The Haybarn on 19th February, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or experience. From our very first visit, the team made us feel so incredibly welcome — their kindness, warmth, and genuine care meant everything to us. As two women, feeling completely comfortable and celebrated was so important, and The Haybarn created exactly that environment from the very beginning.
Along the way, we had to make significant changes to our original plans — moving the date and reshaping almost every aspect of the day — and not once did this feel like a burden to the team. They were endlessly accommodating, supportive, and compassionate about our personal circumstances, which we will never forget.
A special mention has to go to Emma and Shannon, who went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only did they help bring our day together seamlessly, but they also stepped in as our witnesses — something that meant so much to us and made the day even more special.
Our wedding day is a memory we will cherish forever, and so much of that is thanks to The Haybarn and its incredible team. We honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly — if you’re considering getting married here, do it. You’ll be in the very best hands.

Cannot recommend The Haybarn more. We had such an amazing day and the team at The Haybarn were such a huge part of that. The venue is such a beautiful setting and the whole set up of the day was perfect. The team were such a help with recommending excellent suppliers who really just added to the whole experience. The Haybarn was everything we wanted in a venue - beautiful, incredibly flexible, with a team full of people who just wanted to help us make our day as fun and individual as we wanted. Helen, in particular, was spectacular: efficient, so organised, reassuring, and absolutely got our vision and vibe straightaway. She went above and beyond helping my dad pick out the wine he wanted, making sure we had wet weather set ups (it rained all morning), and just generally being a fairy godmother. The most lovely place to have your special day, and with the best possible team working their absolute hardest to make that happen for you. I couldn't recommend The Haybarn more highly! :)

There are not enough words to describe how incredible The Haybarn were. We knew from the moment we saw it that it was the perfect fit for us and our wedding day would be not only beautiful, but well taken care of. The coordinators (Shannon in particular) made the whole process, including the day, seamless. There was no stone unturned and no question not joyfully answered. Nothing was too much trouble and we could trust them completely. The accommodation is what really sold it to us, as we were able to host so much of our family and wedding parties in such beautiful barns and shepherds huts. They even kept the shepherds huts open an extra few weeks so we could heave them for our October wedding.

We had the absolute best day and the venue was the star of the show. We truly recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you so much!

We got married at the Haybarn in September and we cannot give enough praise to the team and the location (what a stunning place!!)
All our guests loved the wedding venue, the location and mentioned how everything went so smoothly, and it is thanks to the great team working at the Haybarn. Even when we changed it up and brought in a taco van they ensured they had the power supply to make it work and was on hand to help them set up.
Close family also really loved the fact there is a good range of on-site accomodation and set up available the day before, which made it loads easier to set up and not worry about getting to hotels (and the glamping wagons were much appreciated too!)
Overall 10/10 would get married here again 😆

We are so happy to have held our wedding at the Haybarn recently. From our very first viewing up to the big day itself, the team made us feel welcome, happily answered our numerous questions, and nothing was too much trouble. The venue is in such an idyllic and tranquil location, all of our guests (and us!) were blown away at how lovely it was. The glamping carriage where we stayed was so cosy and decorated beautifully, we would have stayed longer if we could! The team stayed in regular contact with us throughout the planning process, and our coordinator ensured everything went smoothly on the day.

The fact that you are able to have the beautiful accommodation the night before your big day and are able to get ready on site is amazing and was such an added bonus compared to other Herefordshire venues that only allow you to arrive later on your wedding morning!
The whole team were attentive and so welcoming are really made the day flow effortlessly!
The grounds were perfect and allowed us to have so much space for guests to roam and the animals were an amazing addition and the kids loved it!
Overall an incredible venue and we could 100% recommend for any event!

We chose the Haybarn blindly after seeing their website and since visiting, they have been unbelievable, always there if we needed, always friendly and fast at responding. They are a small team who made us feel like the only wedding in the world at the time.

Where do I begin! we had the most incredible wedding at the Haybarn. It really is the most naturally beautiful and perfect venue!

We were lucky enough to have Helen and Jordan as our coordinators and they were both fantastic from start to finish. Helen was always there to answer any questions, any worries or help with any ideas I had and bring them to life.

We stayed the night before the wedding and the wedding night in the two beautiful houses and some guests in the B&B. Our guests where not only blown away by the venue but how lovely the houses where too, they really have that home feel.

The day itself was just perfect! we didn’t have to worry about a thing, Helen and Jordan were there to make sure everything ran as planned. They really went above and beyond with the extra little details.

Everyone loved that the donkeys, Albert and Blossom could make an appearance for the day too ☺️.

We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day, and we are so grateful we got to get married at your beautiful farm.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at the Haybarn. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the location is idyllic, with the perfect backdrop of hills, fields, forests and even a beautiful brook. The venue is the perfect blend of rustic and contemporary, combining the original features of the buildings with more modern additions and comforts.

Being able to access the venue from 1pm the day before and extend checkout the day after meant that we were able to relax and make the most of our time there. The accommodation (we had the Home Barn, Brook Barn, B&B and Glamping) was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of space to get ready and to relax the morning after.

The ceremony space in the Cartshed was one of the things we loved most about the venue, allowing us to get married against the stunning natural backdrop. The Haybarn was an amazing space which easily accommodated c100 guests and was seamlessly turned around from our wedding breakfast to the party. The grounds gave plenty of different spaces for guests to explore and options for photos to be taken, including the option to have the adorable donkeys, Albert & Blossom, out for guests to meet.

The team at the Haybarn were brilliant from start to finish. They really helped make the planning process run smoothly and ensured that our day went ahead without a hitch. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

We attended a wedding at the haybarn wedding venue as an external vendor coffee truck to serve coffee's to the wedding guests, the team at the haybarn were extremely accommodating and ensured that after i had been booked by the couple that i had the correct safe and legal documents they required, the venue itself is absolutely stunning with absolutely faultless grounds and a well organised team that will ensure the day runs absolutely perfectly, best wedding venue i have attended this year!
