I found Angelica Bridal Curve around January 2025, whilst searching for plus size shops where dresses would actually fit me. Being in London already, this seemed perfect for me, and I decided to go along to a sample sale in March as this would suit my budget better. I had Millie as my stylist and she was so sweet and so understanding, I didn’t once feel uncomfortable (which is difficult when you are self conscious of your body and don’t have much confidence!). She let my niece and I pick a range of dresses to try, and was helpful in adding sleeves to some of my choices as I wanted my arms covered. She was professional and also honest, and bounced off of the feelings from my family and how we all felt about the dresses. I knew I didn’t want to go anywhere else - I was happy, confident, found a waist I didn’t know I had! and after trying 4 dresses, Millie said to put the very first one back on and this was the one we all loved! The service continued with explaining the process of dry cleaning, and collecting the dress, and even recommending somewhere for the alterations. All in all it was a great experience and I would 10/10 recommend Angelica Bridal Curve to any other plus size brides out there! The only 1 thing we didn’t get… was the glass of fizz that was promised at my appointment! But in the great scheme of things, it wasn’t the reason for being there. I had my wedding dress alterations done at the Marylebone boutique and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The boutique itself is gorgeous – calm, elegant, and such a lovely place to spend those special pre‑wedding moments. The staff were absolutely wonderful too. They made me feel completely at ease, listened to everything I hoped for, and handled every detail with real care and expertise. My dress fit like a dream by the end, and the whole process felt personal and genuinely enjoyable. I’m so grateful for their kindness and skill. Highly recommend.

Fantastic quality so pretty and fantastic value i chose a jump suit rather than a dress for my wedding day and the shoe's are so pretty very happy would highly recommend 😊.

Can't recommend Velma enough. She brought my vision completely to life and completely designed and created my wedding dress from scratch. I felt so special having a dress that was made especially for me and I got so many compliments on the day! Thank you Vee!

Gorgeous rental dress, and the customer service was brilliant! They tailor the dress to fit to your height and size, a great way to have the perfect dress for your wedding. Very much recommend their dresses - a great selection!

Everyone adored the dress!! I’m so happy it was the first one I tried on and immediately fell in love! The whole experience was so quick and easy.

I'm so happy that Katsuko was the one to alter my wedding dress! She helped me with the design and was very patient when my ideas changed as well as gracious when communicating that my chosen material would not accommodate the changes I planned. She is a total professional and so talented at what she does. My wedding dress turned out absolutely perfect, the fit, the length and the size made it so comfortable to wear thanks to Katsuko's care and attention to detail. She even made my husband a pocket square and bow tie out of matching material which was such a lovely touch. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend her! Thank you so much Katsuko!

I had a bit of a different brial dress experience, as I found a dress I loved in the US and months later decided to go for it. Lovely Bride were the only stockists in London, and therefore my only option, but I'm so happy they handled my dress. Communication was direct and professional, and the process was very straighforward with Jade. I then ordered my veil from them which was seamless as well.
